do not waste money on the beats. I bought these to replace a pair for beats that fell apart within a year of purchase. They are durable, comfortable, and deliver incredible sound.

I love these headphones. I tried many different rands in the 300 to 700 dollar range. For fit, comfort of long wear and overall sound these were the best. No complaints at all. I’ve used them on long flights, for zoom meetings, for trail hikes, iPhone conversations and for casual listening. It has worked well for me in all these areas. A lot of the other brands didn’t work as well in every area.

I own probably 10 different headsets because I am on the phone all the time. I work out of my home and have a large family. I constantly find myself outside so the attendees of a conference call won’t hear the television or the members of my family. This headset has solved that issue. The tv can be on, my family can have normal conversations, and I can be in the kitchen without the other party knowing I am at my house. Great product. Worth the price.

I love the sound, noise cancelling, and look of the headphones. They just slide off way too easily in the gym. I wish I would’ve exchanged for the NC 45. My brother has those and says they’re good for the gym. But the features of the 700 like connecting to 10 devices, customizable NC settings, button functions, and of course the touch functions are awesome. Works well with Siri also. Great battery life for me.

    A current QC15, QC25, QC35, and now 700 owner

As a current owner of numerous Bose products, ranging from the QC15, QC25, QC35, to home entertainment systems, etc, I can whole heartedly say, if you have a prior version of any Bose ANC headphones then pass on the need to upgrade to 700 series. Cons: 1) My headphones have never once paired through the Bose Music App, which is required to modify any of the headphones settings. I spoke on the phone to Bose rep who informed me I would need to download a patch over my computer and update the firmware. For $400 I shouldn't have to do anything to use these. 2) When pressing the power button it often take 9-12 seconds before the headphones sound that they are on. Often times this leads to pressing the power button multiple times since I'm unsure if it registered my initial press, which leads to on-off-on-off-on; hopefully I pressed it an odd number of times. 3) Volume controls: since the new 700 introduces touch features on the right ear cup, swiping up and down raise and lower the volume. However it takes multiple swipes down or up to go from 100% to 0%, and by multiple I mean 4. Seems odd I have to perform full swipes of the entire ear cup to reduce or raise the volume by 25% at a time. 4) Durability and Sound. One of the reasons to buy the new headphones is the sleek new look. However, once these get scratched I can assure you the sleek new look feeling will quickly fade (give it 3 weeks). At which point you're left with $400 headphones that have an identical sound quality as prior QC versions. Pros: 1) The Microphones are much better than prior QC versions (if you're on calls often). Though the QC35 are perfectly fine based on your environment. 2) The ANC is better than prior versions (if you happen to listen in very noisy areas). I would argue that the QC35's ANC worked perfectly fine in 90% of all environments. The 700 happen to work fine in 95% of all environments, they're still not perfect but better than prior ANC headphones by Bose. Verdict: If you currently own a pair of bluetooth ANC headphones from Bose then skip the 700 series, they'll leaving you questioning who these are marketed for.

      Hi Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to review your Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed the Noise Cancelling and Microphone features of the headphones, however I am sorry to hear that you had issues with the headphones and would love to let you know that as of 19th of July 2019 we have released an update to the Bose Music app that improves the setup experiences. With this update, if you have had issues connecting to the Bose Music app directly, we recommend connecting to your mobile device first via the Bluetooth settings menu, and then proceeding with app setup.

If you do require an further assistance then I would highly recommend that you reach out to our customer support team via the contact us page on our website.

      Kind Regards,

Best headphones I’ve ever had, unfortunately they were stolen about 2 months after I purchased them. Eventually I’ll buy another set, but I do have one complaint and that is they are too big for my head and I wish they adjusted a little smaller. The noise cancellation is impressive I could literally use loud power tools and listen to music or have a phone conversation without a problem

I have had several Bose headphones including the SoundTrue (wired and wireless) and the QC35s. I have never had to consult a user manual to use them. For a flagship product, you would think it would be pretty intuitive. It's not. Yeah, the touch controls are cool (I've wanted a swipe up and down volume control for the AirPods), the design is gorgeous, even the packaging is top notch. However, I knew there was a problem right away when I had to download an app just to pair the headphones. The app helps you pair the headphones and I guess share them between devices. It also thankfully walks you through the new gestures to control the headphone (all of which I have forgotten). Pairing took forever and handing it off to another device say an iPhone to iPad is a blood-boiling experience which has resulted in me just clearing out the Bluetooth list in the headphones and re-pairing to the device I want to use. Oh, did I mention the button layout on the headphones? I literally needed to consult the manual to figure out how to turn the device on. No power button, just a bluetooth button that doubles as power. Great, but turning it off is another test of patience. Do I long press? Do I short press? It's a short press and there's a noise telling you it's on/off. Too long of press turns pairing on, clears history. The other buttons do something -- I guess Alexa or Google or Siri. The good news is that the fit and weight are top notch, my favorite since since the Bose SoundTrue wired. The noise cancellation is great and gives you a lot of control over how much noise cancellation you want. Back to more problems -- My fiancé tried to talk to me while I was wearing them. I double tapped the headphones to pause, it didn't pause. Tried turning the headphones off, they didn't turn off, but somehow I activated Siri who decided to call one of my coworkers. Everything about these headphones beyond listening to music is a test of absolute patience. What a shame. Thankfully Bose included a headphone jack to alleviate all of the pain of how poor the Bluetooth is.

Hi Tyler. It's great to hear that you've enjoyed the design of these headphones. I'm sorry that you've not had the best experience with the controls. We truly appreciate your feedback and take on board the comments that are relayed. I'd also like to mention that the Bose Music app is not essential to first pair your headphones to a device. This can be done by holding the Power/Bluetooth button for 2-3 seconds and you will hear "Ready to connect". Hopefully to improve your experience, here's a link to the controls of the headphones https://bose.life/2LUYeiT. Thanks, Charlotte - Bose Customer Support bose
