I was skeptical on spending so much money on headphones, but I absolutely love the noise cancelling part so much, especially when traveling on an airplane! Best purchase!

Sounds good, but don't like position of the buttons and they moved controls to touching the side of the headset, it gets accidentally touched very often, it does have trouble pairing and using the app with the headphones, had to reload a few times.sound quality is not what Bose used to be. I think overpriced.

I can hear every whispering voice in Pink Floyd's music and not have to hear my husband''s computer games blasting. Comfortable with great range, I can move around all 3 levels of my home and hear perfectly clear - and I don't have to hear myself singing out loud! Super easy to connect to my iMac.

I kept them just because, unfortunately, when I called to ask if I could return them the rep told me that I was already out of the return window which is something that really disappoints considering that some of us customers only have a 15 days return window that apparently begins to count on the day you order no matter when you receive them. Therefore, if you order on the 1st and receive them on the 16th, you won’t be able to return them. So keep that in mind if you order online. Now about the headphones, they are a little bit on the heavy side, they sometimes give me a headache but that is something I always suffer when I put something tight or heavy on my head. Also, The padded thing does not make any difference so I find myself removing the headphones every once in a while to avoid getting a headache. The sound is good quality but I can only compare these with another set of Sport Bose earphones that I had in the past and also with my wireless beats which are still very good. The setup was very easy although I still need to learn how to use some features. Color: I decided for the Soapstone color which I regretted Immediately because it’s such a very delicate color even though I’m extremely careful. I don’t think these headphones in this specific color are going to look good in just a few months of normal wear, and that disappoints me because I like my stuff to look clean and to keep looking like new. Finally, I am not going to provide a technical review because I just wanted a pair of good quality headphones to watch movies or to listen music and also for traveling but also that would last me a good couple (or maybe a few) years. These are honestly just ok, but not my favorite as I was truly expecting them to be more comfortable and lightweight.

Very comfortable around the years. Excellent noise cancellation. Easy to operate once you figure out how to use them. Once you turn on power it makes a unnecessary loud noise. I turn on my set on before putting them on. The Bose music app is not as easy to use or good. Some features stopped working soon after I downloaded it. Reloaded it but without success

I replaced my QC 35's for these. Sound, noise cancelling, and touch features are great. Narrow head band should be wider, so they are not as comfortable as my QC 35's, and they slip back off my head when partially reclining. Also, I could adjust the cups with one hand on the 35's, but I need two hands with the 700's. Bottom line is I should have purchased the QC 45's.

The Bose 700 Triple Black headphones were a necessary upgrade for me due to the amount of time I found myself on my laptop and phone during the spring. I found that my QC 35 's were not equal to the task of isolating my voice during calls. Although a bit pricey, they are well worth the cost because the Bose reputation speaks for itself. I did manage to catch these on a $50 off sale. The controls are almost intuitive, it takes a bit of time to learn if you're not used to touch-sensitive controls. There is a Bose specific cable that fits into a 3.5 headphone connector. Just an awesome experience.

    NC 700 Too Many Problems

I read where there were connectivity issues, but I am pretty technical so figured I would give the Bose NC700 a try. The reason I went with the Bose NC 700 headphones is that they provide the ability to connect to two different bluetooth devices without needing unpair. Unfortunatley, the connectivity was truly terrible in my case. I had the headphones connected to my laptop and my phone. My primary use is with the laptop. I would connect and then it would drop audio every couple of seconds. Audio on off on off on off. The off was momentary but you couldn't listen to it like that. I reset the headphones several time like the Bose community said. I tried turning headphones on and off, and using my phone to stop a video and then the laptop to start it, both of which was supposed to force the connectivity to use the device I wanted to use at that moment. Didn't work. The community also spoke of forcing a manual firmware update but I could not find a way to do that. And when I had it check the firmware it simply said I already had the latest. Each time I went to use the headphones it would take me 10-15 minutes to finally get the audio to work. Each time I hoped that the next time I would use them I wouldn't have an issue. But, after a week of trying to use each morning and evening, I simply returned them and got the Sony wh-1000xm3. The Sony's were about $60 cheaper and worked perfectly from the get go with my laptop. I lost the ability to connect two devices, but I have used other NC headphones for years and they didn't have that ability either. The fact that they just work, is way more important than having a second device but tons of connectivity issues. Lastly, please don't tell me I could of tried this or that. My old pair had zero issues and my new Sony headphones have has zero issues with the same laptop in all cases. So the issue is Bose and for that kind of money, they should be drop dead simple and reliable.
