Sound quality is fine. Bluetooth can be glitchy. Sometimes has a popping noise with the noisecancelling mode. That said, they do the trick, are comfy, and I like that you can plug it in when the battery dies and keep using it. Solid head phones (just miss my really really old pair!)

Bought Bose earphones a few weeks ago for work. My goal was to drowned out the white noise in a corporate office. Success! The sound is great although i have little experience additional brands. My go-to has been a set of Apple EarPods. The Bose are a little bit more of a hassle to carry around but the sound in the quality is worth it. I also like the fact that the batteries will last up to 15 hours or more. They are impressive with deep sound and clean acoustics. The only disappointment I can find at this time is my Apple iPhone is of course a little out of sync compared to the earbuds. I realize its due the product differences, but i thiught the two world work together perfectly. When asking Siri questions, the Bose are are hit and miss.

haven't experienced the sony xm, so this isn't a comparison. comfort, sound, noise cancellation, and calls have all work very well. only major downside i see is price, so wait for a sale or build up points for a cert. the app does need work, but that isn't completely necessary (i think) if you are connecting to one device. there has been incremental improvement since i bought them.

I'm not an audiophile by any means, for the most part as long as it's decently loud I'm happy. These pair of headphones literally make songs I've heard for years sound brand new. There are songs that I swear didn't have certain instruments/verses and all of a sudden I hear them in 4k like if I was in the room while it was being recorded. add to that the fact that the material used is some of the softest things I have ever had on my head. Lastly the noise cancelling is so perfect and easy to fine tune in the app, and the conversation mode comes in clutch when i have to suddenly engage in human interaction.

Just replaced my other Bose Nose isolating headphones and these were just amazing. In love the new design making it easy to adjust. USB C charging and I had 19 hours? Wow. Not to mention that you have 3 noise cancellation levels, 0, 5 and 10. Add in the touch features instead of buttons to raise volume, answer calls and skip or play music. Simply blown away by the upgrades. Pleasantly surprised.

I love these head phones. They are very light and comfortable. The sound is amazing. The battery life is great. I love how it connects to all my devices (I don’t have to disconnect it from my phone to use it on another device.) They are pricey but worth it.

Let's address the elephant in the room, yes, these are very expensive for bluetooth headphones. BUT, if you are like me you are tired of the cheap $30 bluetooth headphones that deliver mediocre sound quality at best. From the moment I turned these on I was impressed. The noise cancellation is out of this world, we live with my in-laws while our home is being built and my mother-in-law loves to YELL at the TV during football games. I didnt even know she was yelling until someone told me later that night, the Bose Music app is great as well, there are a lot of improvements compared to when these first came out, most importantly an EQ is now in the app. These connect to every bluetooth device I've tried so far, i even use them wired with my Xbox and it is a world of difference! The only drawback I've found so far is that the Aux cord included with these is 2.5mm to 3.5mm instead of your typical 3.5-3.5, however I will gladly buy a couple of extra cords in case I lose mine or something happens to it. A small price to pay for the great quality of these. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality headphones!

Sound quality is great as expected. I use this for work and am on conference calls all the time. The sound on these calls is great and the noise cancellation is unparalleled. Battery life has held true to 20 hours. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and breathable. The app is easy to use and the quick commands are very convenient. Bose will continue to be my go to brand

I waited two months to get some usage under my belt before I reviewed them. So far I have to say I'm very pleased! I bought them to cancel noise. Like others, I'm home more than I used to be due to covid and we have an open plan condo. If my wife is on the phone or a zoom session I can hear her. These headphones do a very good job of reducing the ambient noise, though not entirely eliminating it (I'm not sure it would be possible to do so). I've also started wearing them a lot when I;m on Zoom and phone calls. The sound quality is really excellent and they're comfortable. I wear them now even if my wife is not home when on a call because the sound is so much better than out of my phone or laptop. I never listen to internet music so I can't comment on music quality. My review is all about speech quality and noise reduction. Bose tends to make high-quality products, albeit at a somewhat higher price. I listened to a couple of highly rated headphones at BB and decided this one was the one.

Purchased these headphones for the convenience of bluetooth. I have a pair of Bose wired headphones which have been excellent over the years. Excellent performance from this 700 model. I use these for range shooting as they are very good at noise cancellation. Also when riding my lawnmower. Very pleased overall. Battery life is excellent. Very comfortable to wear.

Such an immersive listening experience - with several levels of noise cancellation; Putting them on, I felt it was even more comfortable than QC35, and soft cushion cups felt comfortable even after prolonged use. I was using QC35 before the 700, and definitely felt upgraded with several new features that I thought Bose should have brought on long time ago - longer battery life is a big bonus as well! Love it!!!

There are hundreds of headphones on the market. These are very good: well designed and manufactured. Good sound. Good microphone. Good noise canceling, Comfortable to ware. They're not the best in any category, but very good in every one. The fact that the price has come down recently, I think they are a very good value and I would highly recommend.

The good: Compared to the Sony WH-1000XM3, I couldn't tell a difference with the noise cancelling. They're both incredible. These are definitely more comfortable. With the Sony's, the top of my head started to hurt where the band touched after a few hours. I can wear these all day and drown out my awful, piece of poopoo neighbor. Literally the worst person on the planet. It's why I bought these expensive destroyers of sound. The bad: These might just be a defective pair, but I've read where a lot of other people have had similar issues. The wired connection doesn't work at all. Not with an iphone, not in a PS4 remote, not plugged into my PC, not plugged into my laptop. Supposedly you need an extra $25 or $35 cord to plug into a PS4 remote. It would've been nice to know that but it's not like mine work anyway. I also couldn't connect via Bluetooth to the PS4. So I then tried to connect via Bluetooth to my TV. It worked, yes! But no, it didn't work well. For some reason, when the headphones are connected via Bluetooth to the TV, it adds a big input delay to the wireless PS4 remote. Maybe too many blue teeth in one spot, whatever, so can't use them for escaping my miserable existence and role-playing as an angry 20-something zombie killer girl either. The app is also a hot pile of garbage. It won't update past 1.3.1, or whatever it is, to 1.5.whatever to unlock the equalizer. It also tends to forget the headphones after a while so you have to keep closing the app, retrying, closing the app, turning on/off Bluetooth. Ugh. Pretty frustrating. The battery life seems to be about 20 hours, maybe a little less. Which is enough if you want to wear them all day and charge them at night while sleeping. The noise cancelling is great and they're very comfortable for 12+ hour, all-day wearing. But everything else seems to not work or be defective. Looking forward to exchanging these for the Sony WH-1000XM4's.

Had bought and returned after a week. Nine years ago with noise cancelling, it was Bose and the rest. Own a faithful pair of QC15 that held up. Today, there are so many choices from many manufactures. I had bought the Bose 700 and the Bowers and Wilkins PX7. Build quality was excellent. They looked like they could last as long as my QC15. The headset itself was comfortable to wear, and didn't feel like my brains were being squeezed out of my head. Nice and comfortable. My first complaint was setting up the app, why do I have to give my e-mail and personal information to use headphones? Please explain that to me Bose. Second, I found the app to be a little buggy, disconnected from the headphones a couple of times. And a few times couldn't recognize the headphones. Next issue I found was with the touch controls. There is a saying of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. This was definitely the case. Raising the volume, I blasted out my ear drum a few times because the volume went up too quickly instead of slightly. Next, tapping to stop/start the music didn't always work. And forget about the swiping to play the next track or previous track, didn't work most of the time. Buttons work better. The voice prompts, while excellent, were a little too wordy. Took a little too long for that. The noise cancelling was a little too good. It was too isolating. Yes, I tried the other settings, but still felt Bose went a little too far with the settings, and when I turned the noise cancelling off, the ambient noise around me was amplified. With no way in the app that I could turn it down. Honestly with that, I wasn't able to find if there was a way to adjust it. The cord that is supplied so that you can connect directly to your device is one too short, and why Bose chooses to have one end as 2.5 and the other as 3.5 instead of both as 3.5 makes no sense to me. The only thing that I can think of is to make money. Sound quality was good, but could have been better. Honestly, I have the same complaint about my QC15. Finally battery life. B&W PX7 and the Sony is 30 hours. Yet Bose is only 20 hours. I expect better for $400. For me, battery life is important. I travel several times a year to destinations on the other side of the planet and between flights and transit times in airports, it can take more than 20+ hours to get to (or from) a destination. Makes battery power important. The Bose would just not cut it on these trips. Are there individuals who feel that Bose meets their needs? Yes, for me, it didn't. I just felt that the Bose went too far to reclaim their crown.

Functionality: My experience connecting the headphones is that they work like any other Bluetooth headphones. I did not need to download any additional application to get them to connect to my phone or tablet. Having said that one will want to download the app and connect your headphones to get software/firmware updates. Sound: The sounds quality has been great. The sound is very approachable and accommodating to a wide variety of music (from Currentzis to FFDP to Bonobo), audiobooks and podcasts. I migrated from the QC35 (gen. 1) to these headphones and I am happy to say that there is a noticeable improvement in the bass with these headphones. Calling/mics: My previous QC35 were almost impossible to use to make calls because the noise-canceling did not remove the background noise. (In fact, it often amplified it.) The 700, on the other hand, have been a pleasure to make calls on. They do a good job of dropping out most of the background noises while keeping my voice clear and easy to hear. All-and-all, I'm very happy with the headphones! My complaints at the moment are they can be hot to wear, make your ears warm, and the black finish shows every fingerprint.

So this is me second for go around with Noise Cancelling head headphone. I had bought the same brand but the less expesive ones about 2 years ago. I absolutely hated them. Sound quality was great but they hurt my ears. From the noise cancellation technology, it felt a lot of pressure around my ears. I could not keep keep them on for a long period of time. Like 2 or 3 hours and just was not comfortable. I decided try them a second time around with these ones and i am blown away. You can control the noise cancellation. So i have it half way down. It is perfect. Very comfortable and i have had these head phones on for several hours with not any complaints. Absolutely, a great purchase. Not only that, the blue tooth allows me to connect to multiple devices. So when i work, i have it connected to my computer and my phone. I listen to music through my computer and when i get a call, it turns off my music and allows me to pick up the call. I also have the Bluetooth hooked up to my Apple TV. So now i can listen to my movie with headphones on and with great dedicated quality. Again, it is also connected to my iPhone, so if a call comes in, it will pause my movie or show and pick up the call. Great buy for me. I have already recommended these headphones to a other person. Luv it.

I purchased these headphones to compare to the Beats Studio pro headphones I had already purchased; these headphones are amazing. The noise cancellation is awesome. I did 2 test to compare the noise cancellation: (1) I turned on music and popped balloons. I couldn’t hear the balloons popping. (2) I listened to our church livestream, while in the sanctuary; did not disappoint. The sound was very clear and the noise around me was mute. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there was some connectivity issues in the beginning. The headphones would disconnect or people couldn’t hear me, but it lately the issue has went away.
