    Bought for my mom to zone out noisy neighbors. She loves the headset and often uses it to work while others are watching TV in the same room. It's very comfortable to wear for extended periods, sounds great, and the noise cancellation is awesome.

    After purchasing these headphones I must say the design and comfort was really nice and typical of Bose products...however, after close comparison to other high end headphones, such as Sony x-3's, and Bang and Olefsen H9's, I returned these in favor of the somewhat more expensive (but worth it) Bang and Olefsen H9's...

    These are great for hearing what you want to hear and for cancelling the outside noise you hear. However, I can't use these for work - on any call they are terrible for anyone on a call with you - other participants can hear ALL of the ambient noise around you - which is particularly annoying because you can't hear it, so you think everything is fine, while everyone else is constantly interrupting with, "I'm sorry, we can't hear you over the noise".
