The sound quality is the best I've ever had. Build quality is also very good. Noise cancellation exceeds my expectations. I can use this device on conference calls and hear nothing else going on around me. Pairing with a Windows 10 laptop can be a bit tricky. Pairing with a phone uses the Bose Sound app, which is not available for PC. Overall i would definitely recommend this product.

It's great to hear you were impressed by the noise cancellation offered by the NC 700 headphones, but I'm sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with the bass. Bose offers an EQ option in the Bose Music app so you can enhance the lower end frequencies (see: https://bose.life/3ODso9y.) This should help if you like having a lot of bass in your music.

Not happy with mechanism to tighten on head - always looser than I want. Pairing is a chore- doesn't seem to consistently pair easily with IPAD. Comfy, but expected more for a $400 price tag. George

Great noise cancellation!

I use mine to lower the booming volume of the music at my gym. Raising or lowering the volume of the headphones with the touchpad on the ear cup can be tricky at times.

I thought noise canceling was fantastic, but it music want as deep as others say. Not worth the price for sure. Another disappointment by Bose- from an advisory Bose user.

I'm glad to hear that you loved the noise-cancelling, and sorry to hear that you chose to return these. When it comes to sound quality, I would recommend that you try this with other devices/sources, and check the EQ settings of those sources and devices to find a balance that you're happy with. Furthermore, if you wear glasses or other accessories that break the seal between the cushion and your ear this can affect the sound quality, so I would recommend trying this with and without those.

Awesome but heavy

They worked so well I couldn't hear the engine so I had to set the throttle to a specific level since I couldn't hear how high I was revving. My wife says battery life is incredible. Also bought a pair for my sons 18th birthday and he loves them. My only complaint is they are too heavy. unless you are just sitting the weight of them wants to pull them off your head if you move around too much. I can use them on the tractor, but i would not be able to use them during manual labor.
