I wanted to travel with these before writing a review, and now I've done that. I can say with confidence these are absolutely fantastic. I've been using the Beats Studio 3s for a couple of years, so that's my frame of reference. First, those are plastic, and both sides have cracks in them I'd had to patch with electrical tape, even though I take great care of them. In contrast, the Bose are metal and made to last. The sound is somewhat comparable, but the Bose are better. I was on a flight with a crying baby, which I could barely hear at all, and 99% of the engine noise was cancelled out as well. Music sounds great, and the battery life is amazing. The touch controls take a little getting used to, but not much and now I love them. Totally worth the money, and highly recommended.

The sound quality is good. It’s not bassey and the noise cancellation is great. A bit too pricey but too late. Battery life is great, they’re comfortable and latch onto your ears nicely. Overall I am happy with them.

    Huge Bose Fan...Highly Recommend

I’ve been a Bose fan from my first pair of noise cancelling headphones and after practically wearing out my limited edition QC 35 IIs (cool dark blue color), I discovered Bose released a limited edition of the Noise Cancelling 700 (super cool kind of dark metallic blue called Triple Midnight) that Best Buy had on sale (still expensive because, well...Bose but a little less expensive than usual). And I just had to have them! They’re top quality that I expect from Bose in terms of comfort, design, sound (full disclosure: I listen to far more podcasts than I do music) & noise canceling, although it does seem to me that the noise cancelling might be a bit better on my QC 35 II set but I haven’t actually done a back to back comparison so that assessment may just be my imagination? In addition, the 700s have some great features in that I can access Alexa via voice command; I can control noise cancelling level ~ entire range from none at 0 to complete at 10 via the Bose App & three set points which are 0, 5 and 10 via touch button on headphones; I can pause/ resume podcast/music leaving noise cancelling level as is just by tapping my finger on the outside of the earphone and probably my most favorite new feature is that I can pause podcast play & turn off noise cancelling to engage in a brief conversation by pressing/holding a button on the outside of the earphone so I no longer have to pull one ear cuff askew every time someone needs to speak with me and when the conversation is done, I press/hold that same button to resume podcast where I left off and resume noise cancelling at the same level previously set ~ LOVE this (I know...it doesn’t take much to make me happy)! Bottom line is although I realize Bose headphones are pricy, the 700 is worth it and I would buy them again even at regular list price if no sale was available ~ highly recommend!

I love how these sound, theyre comfortable, and theyre really high quality, but my short hair gets caught in the hinge that make the cups swivel and i have to careful take them off after a long session and they do make your ears sweaty if you work out in them and they connect to devices pretty seamlessly so yea and aka i am autistic and i approve these

I like the QC headphones but the durability and the reliability or the QC line is highly suspect in my opinion. I have had multiple pair break just by accidentally dropping them on the floor from waist height. I don't intentionally damage my own expensive things, so when the company refuses to replace or repair my product I generally don't give them my money again. This is an exception to that rule however. I still feel that these are the best sounding and most comfortable headphones for this price range. I have tried Sennheiser and Sony with no joy. I will say the only down side is the app. I am not signing up for a Bose account just to use my headphones features, if they don't sound good from flat, they're garbage. I have not and will not use the app. If you do, good for you. Overall, I believe they are good not great but worth the $400 or sale price if you can hold out. I unfortunately could not.

Bose NC 700 - Great Product!

Bose NC 700 is a great product. The NC by itself is great when compared to in-ear Dr. DRE NC earbuds. However, I am still getting used to keep it on my head for long periods, walking around the office, and even going to the bathroom! The setup for getting the gear out is fairly easy (a nice case comes with it), and it connects immediately to my MacBook Pro. The only thing I find a little strange is the charging cycle, as it takes a long period to get it fully charged. I haven't measure the time precisely, but it requires overnight charging to get to 18h of battery life. Since I use it intermittently, that is enough for the entire week. Never tried to charge for shorter periods thou. Overall, I am very happy with the money invested on it.

These are simply awesome! Frankly, I use them best for doing work in the garage and when mowing the lawn plus other yard work. Given the superb noise reduction plus the high noise quality combined with their comfort I wear them with a hat and shades and I can work with fantastic sounds motivation all day!

The music and noise cancelling (NC) are amazing, best sound I’ve heard. I have AirPods but I fly a lot and wanted more comfortable NC earphones. You can change the level of NC in the app, I had set to 10, highest, and I couldn’t hear the pilot announcements! So far the battery has 16-18 hours of life so very easy for 2-3 flights without changing. They are a little heavy but not terrible. My biggest complaint is the setup, you have download the App and pair them with your phone plus download the latest firmware, etc... but you can’t be have them charging while setting everything up. It prob took 45 mins or so get them setup. Overall, very happy with them. I had an old (5yr) pair of Beats and the sound so much better.

BOSE, when you hear the name you typically think of amazing sound! These 700 serries were a risk at this price point. There are other pairs with better pricing and sound, but I’ve had BOSE for years and loved them. Enter the 700’s. They honestly sounds great and because I have sensitive ears, the adjustable noise cancelling feature adjusts them to me. This was the selling feature. The are lightweight, sound great, and are well-built. But I do recommend trying the competition first since the pricing and quality can be competitive. But these 700 models are worth it if you want superior quality and sound with that always comes with the BOSE name. Just remember, at this price point, you now have more options for good noise cancelling headphones, but none of them will get the “across the airplane aisle” attention that the BOSE models typically yield.

Updated my Bose Quietcomfort 35's to the new 700 for pile $50 and was pleased. Not only does the new 700's look aesthetically pleasing, but they added the touch feature of being able to control volume, noise cancellation level, tracks all by tapping/swiping on the designated areas. The only downside is that when I have to scratch my ear and fold the headphone over it sometimes registers it as a touch command. But that's less the headphone's fault and more on me being derpy. Other than that the only qualm I have is when I purchased the previous 35's and warranty, the cashier said if Bose were to release a newer version I'd be able to upgrade for free which I learned was not true. All in all, well pleased with my purchase!

I wasn’t sure at first if I made the right purchase for $400 because they are expensive but having them now for almost a month and I can say that I am happy with the purchase. The pairing with my iPhone wasn’t complicated at all. The comfort from these headphones are beyond excellent. If you want a pair of headphones that are excellent in terms of comfort, the Bose 700s are the best in the market, When it comes to Noise Cancellation, Bose never disappoints, they are perfect! The sound quality is fantastic and yes there isn’t as much Bass as the Sony’s but honestly the Amount of Bass isn’t a deal breaker to me. So today, the Bose 700s are the best headphones that I have ever used in my life.

These are the best, period. I have had a pair for a year and a half, and recently bought this pair for my sister, who was going mad from neighborhood lawncare and needed great noise cancelling. She's also a bit of an audiophile, so needed high end headphones for music. She absolutely loves these as much as I do. She swears she cannot hear the lawn mowers/blowers/weed whackers at all, and found the sound reproduction of the music she listens to (mainly classical) to be superb. Also, the over the ear headphones are very light and comfortable. All around winner. Highly recommended.
