Good noise cancellation and for conf calls

Finally replaced my old Bose Quiet Comfort headphones and ended up getting these. My primary reason for getting is for long haul, international flights for both noise cancellation and listening to music or watching movies. I’ve had these for about 6 weeks and so far I’ve used them on 3 long haul (10-12 hr) flights. I’ve also used then for a couple conference calls with my laptop and listening to music/streaming video on iPad. They are pretty pricy, although not totally out of line with other options of similar capability. Still, only consider them average as to value as I find it hard to say any set of headphones in the $300+ range are a great value. Noise cancellation on long flights works well. I do tend to use them on the max noise cancellation level given on flights I’m wanting them to cancel out about everything. Getting the hand of the buttons took me a little bit of time/trial and error, but getting the hang of them know and like the ability to control music or adjust volume by the swipe gestures on outside of the right ear piece. I have been impressed by call quality when using for conference calls. No obvious echo, either for me or reported by others on the call. The one aspect where I’m least satisfied is length of the included AV cable. I’ve found it to be a little short for when I use them on airplane plugged into the in-seat video system. This is with some business class seats where the seat jack is on my right with the headphone jack on my left. Would be nice if it were about another foot longer. I plan to pick up an extension or long cable before my next flight, but don’t recall every having this problem with the cabled for my older pair of Bose Quiet Comfort.

Absolutely the best headphones!! The noise canceling is amazing. I also love the fact that with a quick push of a button, I can cancel it and hear what is going on around me without having to take them off. My last set were corded. I love not having the cord to mess with. These even tell you how many hours of listen time you have left before they need a charge. I would buy thes3 again in a heartbeat!

I love these headphones! I travel by air on a weekly basis—many trips over 5 hours. These headphones are comfortable, have great noise canceling and sound great. Since I spend much time at airports and restaurants, the best aspect of these is how effective they are at eliminating surrounding noise on the other side of a phone call. I’ve had many, many headsets and these are far and away the best for phone calls in noisy environments. Go to the store and try these next to loud music and make a phone call. The person on the other side will not believe how clear the call sounds.

The Bose NC 700 headphones are truly the best NC headphones I had ever purchased and yes I owned the Sony 1000mx3 for over a year now and the sound and features outweighs the Sony mx3 by a leap bound,, Bose just does it better in all categories,, I was blown away by the crisp and clear sound and sound separation the Bose NC 700 offers ,, the main reason we buy headphones in the first place is for the sound so let's not kid ourselves when we purchase high end expensive headphones,, they're truly worth the price for the sound, comfort and noise cancelling it offers.. highly recommended

Was on a 6 hour road trip, the loudness around me when traveling bothered me, so picked up this asmzing set of headphones, not only are they modern looking they had 17hrs of life at the moment of picking up, plus the carring care it comes with makes everything portable and practical.

This headphone is much more comfortable than QC-35 use to be. The quality of construction has improved a lot. In terms of Active Noise Cancelation, not a remarkable difference if compared to the previous version. It is still the leading option. I wish Bose releases an "office" version of these headphones soon, capable of entirely blocking human conversation. It sounds great, but not supremely. If you are an audiophile, you will get some complaints. However, if you are an average person, it will be awesome.

My first pair of Bose headphones. Very comfortable. Great sound quality as to be expected from Bose. Haven’t taken on a flight yet, but the noise cancelling seems to be very good. I like the adjustability of the noise cancelling which helps to be flexible in different situations like if you want some isolation, but still need to hear some outside noise like a pair of open can headphones. Only con would be the Bose price tag. But if you have the money, would definitely recommend.

So far so good. I have had no problems with these headphones. It easily installed to my apple products and I appreciate the sound the quality and the superiority. You see, I have purchased about ten different headphones and it did not perform or connect. Thank you.

If you want to give a nice gift, Mother's Day, special milestone birthday or if you want to make your spouse really happy with you for a long time - buy these. My wife uses these everyday. The wireless feature is great, they recharge with a USB-C cable; she loves them, it silences her stressful world and she's free to walk around the house with her phone. Great, (if expensive) gift. These come in a pretty pink-ish (salmon-ish) color with a white headband. Tasteful and not boring black.

I believe this is my first Bose purchase. I always avoided thinking it was a lot of hype. But when I decided I wanted some new over the year noise cancelling headphones all of the reviews picked the Bose 700 as the best so I took the plunge. I must say they did not disappoint. The sound quality is really good, the noise cancelling is very good and they are very comfortable even when I'm wearing my glasses.

Forgot to review these after gifting them. From what I've been told and also from trialing them for a short period: They are very well made (good quality), resistant to rain/sweat and built from quality material. They are very much noise cancelling because my girlfriend cannot hear me when in use. Additionally, but most importantly, the sound quality is wonderful. Overall, these headphones are well worth the money and I highly recommend.

    Best Active Noise Cancellation!

Pros: - Best noise cancellation of any consumer headphones. - Easy to connect/disconnect and one click on/off. - Feel and look higher quality than the qc series. - Great for phone calls, cancel out most background noise. - usb-c connection Cons: - The sound quality isn’t as good compared to the Sony xm3 or studio beats. The bass is really lacking punch with music imo. I haven’t used them as much with other media types yet to give an opinion. - Battery life is shorter than similarly priced headphones. - Somewhat awkward fit at first compared to qc. I’ve gotten used to it and find them very comfortable now - it’s just a little different. - The Bose app for the 700 series is still pretty bare bones. I hope they add more options for sound, microphone and noise cancellation tuning in the future. I’ve also have had problems with being logged out every time I open the app. A great pair of headphones altogether. I’m happy I went with them and returned a pair of Sony xm3s. The price is steep, but it seems fair considering the quality of materials.

only had them for a few hours but so far so good will be following up in about 2 to 4 weeks sound quality is top notch the design is sturdy the call microphones are in a league of there own the noise cancelation wow! I narrowed my choices down to these 700 or the sony wh10000 but I chose these in the end but however you want to rank them these are clearly the best noise cancelation over ear headphones on the planet

I grew up listening to Bose. However, my friend told me to get the Sony Noise Canceling headphones in lieu of this one. However, when I tried wearing this, it felt so comfortable, when I played music, it's as clear as what I was looking for a headset. I tried recording video also and the sound reception of its mics is so good. One consideration for Sony before was the customizable equalizer. However, the recent software update for the Bose headphones brings the equalizer to the app. So, I went Bose all the way.
