I've owned multiple wireless noise canceling (Including the Bose qc35) headphones. The Bose 700's are superior to them all. The sound is spot-on and I love the adjustable noise cancelation. The noise canceling microphones let others understand me in noisy and windy environments better than any commercial headset I have owned. The batteries allow me to use them all day long. Highly recommended.

I have used Bose noise cancelling headphones for years. My last pair were several years old and fell out of my bag on my commute a few months again. I finally decided to replace them and these are wonderful! They are more comfortable and the sound is great. And they seem to work really well for phone calls. I was a little hesitant, but if they last as long as my other ones, they are well worth the money.

Great for trips and noise cancellation. The wife and I took a 2 and 1/2 hour flight and were sat with a new Mom and her baby. I wasn't sitting directly next to them, but my wife was and she asked me after the flight if I heard anything and honestly after turning on my Netflix shows with the Bose headphones paired I was surprised how eerily quiet everything was when set to the 10 max cancellation setting. Apparently her Galaxy Buds Pro did not drown out some of the crying the baby did (poor kiddo), but that's probably to be expected as they are in-ear instead of over-the-ear like these are. Funny thing about these though is you'll want to set the noise cancellation either at 5 or 0 if you are using them in the house. I decided to keep them after our trip b/c I liked them so much and use them with my computer at home but my wife will be talking full conversations with me before noticing I'm not responding and then she sees I have them on and hits my shoulder to say she's talking to me!

Love these headphones. The touch control on the right earpiece. The differential noise cancelling ability. The crystal clear sound that Bose is known for. The wireless Bluetooth convenience. All great reasons to love these. The 2 main things about these you may not love (but not a dealbreaker for me) are the hefty price tag and the inability of these headphones to fold so typical of other Bose headphones. I recommend.

Great headset. Returned it because it didn’t serve my purpose (noise cancelation while driving car across country. Apparently not legal.) However, for home use... Excellent. Volume adjustment by sliding finger on ear cover worked perfect. Loved sound quality, noise cancellation (silent), fit and style. Went back to repurchase later but off sale so decided not to spend the extra $ now. Highly recommend them.

If all you care about is the audio listening experience, there are many alternatives. The main reason to get these headphones is if you are in conference calls that are in noisy environments. The microphone does a very good job of filtering out the background noise. Also if you are in meetings most of the day these last about 19 hours compared to 4-6 hours for earbuds.

These are the most expensive, and best, headphones I have ever owned. I expect these to last me for many years. The build quality and styling is excellent, and the comfort and sound are so very good. I use these for listening to music, talking on the phone, and watching programs via Fire Stick. Here's a breakdown of some of my observations: Noise cancellation - My first real use of the ANC was on an airplane, and I was pleased. This was very good on the airplane - the engine noises weren't completely blocked but these helped a lot and I was comfortably able to listen to my music and movie. I like the ability to switch through 3 settings (off, half, full) with the button on the left earcup. Fit and comfort - At first I had some minor ear pain but after a week of using them that went away. I am not sure if I subtly adjusted the way I was wearing them, or if the pads softened up a tad with use. My ears do feel a bit warm/itchy after a few hours, but it's not bad and that usually means it's time to give my ears a break anyway. The adjustments on the ear cups are smooth and hold fast. The headphones are lightweight, and the padding at the top of the head is nice. For me they are not as comfortable as the QC 35 II but are at least as good as Sony WH-1000XM4 Appearance - I love the streamlined look. I am in love with the soapstone color, which was actually cheaper than the other colors at the time I had bought them (plus was on sale). The look of these was the ultimate deciding factor vs Sony WH-1000XM4. Charging / battery - You cannot charge and use them at the same time, which I almost let be a deal-breaker for me. But the battery life has been great ( I charge them every other day) and the quick charge to give them a few hours is great for when I forget to charge. Sound quality - I am not an audiophile and as an older user my hearing is not as sharp as it was in my younger days. So, the nuanced differences in sound quality between Bose and Sony are lost on me. That being said, I love the sound of these headphones and use them for music, phone calls, and also connect them to my Fire Stick when watching Netflix, Twitch, etc. Absolutely no noise escapes to bother others in the vicinity regardless of the volume. I have used the Bose app to bump up the bass, mid, and treble. I just listened to Bad Guy (Billie Eilish) and it made the hair on my arms stand up, and I have listened to orchestral music and you can almost visualize the various sections of instruments. Controls - The touch controls on the right earcup are very intuitive. I am still getting used to the exact location of the sensor; sometimes I wish it were a little larger, but then I realize that I would likely inadvertently touch it when adjusting the headphones on my head. The location of the Bluetooth/power and ANC buttons make them easy to use and I appreciate the size of them so that they are easy to find, and differentiate the 2 buttons on the right side. I have yet to use the Voice Assistant button. Pairing - Pairing has been pretty painless. These headphones can maintain a connection with 2 devices at any one time, which is convenient. And it's simple to swap out devices as needed; I currently rotate between about 5 devices.

I’ve had QC35 for years and decided to change it up. The sound quality and noise cancelling feature in this device is definitely better than QC35. The main issue I have with this is the battery life. It doesn’t last as long as QC35. Comfort-wise, both are good; but if you plan to wear if for a whole day like I do (coz I mainly use it to cancel the noise around me while working), QC35 wins. However, when it comes to sturdiness, I believe this one wins over QC35.

I'm not an audiophile but the Bose 700 headphones sound great - from rock to jazz to classical to podcasts - I have no complaints. Noise cancellation is awesome. They are very comfortable. I like how easy it is to switch between devices, just pause one and start the second. Bluetooth 5.0 let's me leave my phone in one room and go to another without the music dropping out. No kag when watching movies.

Got a new daith piercing and can no longer wear earbuds. I also have fresh upper cartilage piercings and have to be careful of the headphones pressing against them. These headphones are extremely comfortable on my ears and against my head. And the sound is great, too. Also, the controls are very innovative for wireless headphones.

These are my second set of Bose headsets and the noise cancelation is even better than the first set I had. Love the swipe technology and the long lasting battery lifetime. Just came back from a 15 hour flight and used the headset for the entire time with no problem.

Lots of people compare these with the Sony MX3’s. I’ve tried both, kept these and returned the Sony...here is why. Call quality, both outside, in noisy environments and everywhere in between is much better on the Bose. I found the Sony’s impossible to use for calls when outside. I also experienced the infamous cold weather phantom touch problem with the Sonys. When you are in cold weather, that touch controls go crazy, making them unusable outside. I find the sound quality different between both of them. I would not say one is better. In fact, I would not use ANY NC headphone for serious listening. They simply won’t be as good as comparable priced non NC headphones. Still, both are pretty good for commuting on noisy trains, damping chatter in an office, or flying. The one ding on the Bose is the AP is not reliable yet. For me, with an iphone, it will only work if the phone is connected to WiFi. Even then, I sometime have to tell it to repair the phone, even if it is already paired. Luckily, the app adds almost no functionality once through initial set up, but Bose needs to get its act together on this front.
