These are my second set of Bose headsets and the noise cancelation is even better than the first set I had. Love the swipe technology and the long lasting battery lifetime. Just came back from a 15 hour flight and used the headset for the entire time with no problem.

I am one of those people who wears headphones all day. Literally anywhere from 8-12 hours every day, on a handful of meetings, and listening to music and podcasts in between. Because of this, I didn’t want to skimp on headphones. I have owned the B&W Px7, Sony XM4, Sony XM5, Apple AirPods Max, and a couple Master & Dynamic and Bang & Olufson pairs. I’ve tried everything from $300 pairs to (a very brief stint with) a $700 pair. Here’s how the Bose 700 stacks up. When it comes to sound quality, these are extremely good. There are better pairs, like the B&W Px7. But you do have to be a picky audiophile to notice or care. The sound difference between these and $500+ pairs is not worth shelling out the $500+ for. So it’s among the best. But if you’re a true audiophile, there are a couple better options. When it comes to noise canceling, again these do rank up there near the top. The Sony XM4 and XM5 are still the reigning champions in the noise canceling department. However, I personally didn’t find these disappointing at all (unlike the AirPods Max). When it comes to comfort, I know this is probably the most subjective aspect to review. But I do find these to be at the very top for long sessions. It doesn’t grip your head too tight on the sides, it’s very light (I know the Sony’s are lighter. But not enough to tell a difference). And it provides possibly the best ear cup cushioning out there, with enough room between the drivers and your ears, which does make a difference. This was probably the main reason why I settled on these. However, there is one issue that’s not unique to these, but is still pretty bad. The bluetooth connection can get kinda crummy at times, especially when connected to 2 devices (which it keeps automatically doing no matter what I try). I’ll be listening to music - or worse, in a meeting - and they will cut out for a very brief second. Although it’s very brief, it can sometimes happen a couple times every minute. Perhaps it’s something to do with Bluetooth 5.0, and it’s better with headphones equipped with 5.2. And again, I also had the same happen to a lesser extent with my B&W, so it’s not unique to these headphones. But it eventually became worse, to the point where I am back on the hunt for a new pair. Overall, if you single out one category that’s the most important to make your decision, these probably aren’t for you. There are better options for sound quality, or noise canceling. But those fall short of the Bose in other areas. So if you just want an all-round, good quality pair of headphones, these are quite possibly the best. Just make sure you get a protection plan, in case you run into those same connection issues I did. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

Lots of people compare these with the Sony MX3’s. I’ve tried both, kept these and returned the Sony...here is why. Call quality, both outside, in noisy environments and everywhere in between is much better on the Bose. I found the Sony’s impossible to use for calls when outside. I also experienced the infamous cold weather phantom touch problem with the Sonys. When you are in cold weather, that touch controls go crazy, making them unusable outside. I find the sound quality different between both of them. I would not say one is better. In fact, I would not use ANY NC headphone for serious listening. They simply won’t be as good as comparable priced non NC headphones. Still, both are pretty good for commuting on noisy trains, damping chatter in an office, or flying. The one ding on the Bose is the AP is not reliable yet. For me, with an iphone, it will only work if the phone is connected to WiFi. Even then, I sometime have to tell it to repair the phone, even if it is already paired. Luckily, the app adds almost no functionality once through initial set up, but Bose needs to get its act together on this front.

The Headphones are great. The only problem I had with them was in initially getting them connected to my i phone. The instructions were unclear. I called Bose technical support and they provided directions that were very helpful and and I got them synced right away. They are comfortable to wear and the sound is crisp and clear and the noise cancellation is excellent.

great headphones, (over the ear) the ANC is great it really tones out the noise and helps to tune in on what's playing. the battery life is amazingly really long. I use them daily and every time I put hem on it tells me the amount of hours remaining. if you can swing the extra dollars the Bose 700 I would, I mean I did!

My husband got these for me because my other headset hurt my ears. These fit over my ears totally, so I I can listen in comfort. the noise cancellation part is great! I can listen to sewing or quilting videos on you-tube while he watches television and not be disturbed. I can get up to do other stuff, because I"m not tethered to the computer!! Needles to say, great sound ... after all they are Bose!!

This is my first pair of Bose headphones so I can't compare these with the earlier model, other than the specs that you can research yourself. More levels of the noise cancelling. These paired with my iPhone and computer no problem. They are comfortable at first wear but I can see where they would start to be uncomfortable after extended wear. Great isolation. Too expensive, and Bose didn't discount their earlier model much, so that subtracted a star from this review.

Hi, You can't really go wrong with these! I love the quality and how it was built - I can wear it for several hours without really feeling that I have a piece of headphones on my head. I can't wait to see the future headphones of this type that Bose has in store! Thank you Bose for your hard work! We love it here - keep up! Regards, CT

So I like these, they are super comfortable and sound great. My only negatives are since the controls are all touch based, sometimes I can accidentally end a call or pause content. Also, one of the big draws for these was the advertised improved call quality and call noise reduction, and while calls sound fantastic on my end, the people Im talking to don't seem to notice any dramatic improvement.

I’m currently studying medicine and for the vast hours I spend reading and on my computer the comfort and noise cancellation of these headphones are remarkably amazing! I have very loud neighbors and fortunately with these headphones I can completely concentrate on what I’m studying.

I love these headphones so much especially for long trips. Some of my family members listen to Bad Bunny so I use these to cancel out that noise. They get mad because these headphones can actually cancel out their vehicle sound systems. I have the Bose Soundsport Free one's and those sometimes hurt after hours of use but these are really comfortable.

Very comfortable and clear sound. Clumsy to adjust volume, and tapping. Earpads are soft however does cause sweating in the ears due to the tight seal. Just have to remove occasionally. They are great as far being lightweight and easy to adjust. Have had some difficulty pairing and connecting, especially if someone else or your own equipment still has Bluetooth going. So just shut bluetooth on iphone or ipad.

It is very nice looking cosmetic design. Comfortable Wearing even I continuously wear it over 8 hours while I am in the Airplane. ANC Level is pretty Good. Sound Frequency Curve is Ok ( Not so Excellent ) as my personal feeling. It is connect with Smartphone Wirelessly (Bluetooth) through Specific Bose App which is easy of use. However it might be difficult to pairing with other equipment (except Smartphone, Tablet) which can not install Bose App......

These are some of the best bluetooth headphones out in existence. Build quality and design is excellent and noise cancelation is next level. Audio quality is excellent, but there is room for improvement, but unless you have well tuned ear you will not even notice. superb battery life and control features. Overall a great pair of headphones but they are a little pricey, but i feel like its worth it.

These headphones are great! They are comfortable (I don't sweat in them). They sound great too! After a couple of days, the app updated and added the equalizer. Alexa is and added bonus. The noise cancellation is awesome. I was cooking and had the loud vent fan on. I could only hear the caller and they could only hear me when I was talking. I'm glad I bought them.
