Audio quality is very good. Love the noise canceling. Fits snugly on my head and adjusts easily. I wish there was a little more room for my very average (i.e., normal sized) ears, however. My ears get a little itchy from time to time. Took me a couple weeks to really become acclimated to the touch control surface, which is located on the right earphone. I really like being able to swipe (up or down) to adjust the volume. Likewise, I really like being able to swipe (forward or backward) to skip ahead to the next track or backward to the previous track! This is a nice improvement over the previous “button-pushing” version. That said, it’s still a bit too sensitive at times; especially when I’m adjusting the headphones on my head or if I need to briefly need to remove the phones from my head & then put them back on, without powering them off. Even now, after several weeks, I still get slightly irritated when I accidentally tap (or double tap) the control surface, which then either prompts an unnecessary battery level status or an unwanted pause in playback. I’ve learned that there are some customizable changes to some of these touch control settings. But, I’m still figuring some of this out. Bit, OK, maybe I’m a bit slow on the learning curve. Maybe. I suspect that I am a pretty picky consumer/owner of this type product. But, these headphones are NOT inexpensive! So, yes, I definitely expect excellence! I rated this product 4 STARS out of 5. If I had the option, I would e given it something like 3.75 STARS out of 5. So, I rounded up to “4” to be fair. But, as a professional musician, I’m pretty particular about this stuff. Overall, I do like my new Bose NC 700 HPs. And, I’d recommend them to a friend. But, I’m still gonna keep searching for something closer to perfection! So, I hope this one man’s discerning opinion serves as encouragement to Bose (and to other manufacturers, as well) to keep improving such offerings as these headphones. Because, I use them EVERY DAY, SEVERAL HOURS EACH DAY & NIGHT!

Great sound, great fit, excellent noise cancellation. My biggest gripe is the batteries don't last as long as they are rated. I have a pair of Sony WH-CH710N headphones I use for work, the Bose were about twice as much, but the sound quality, noise cancellation, and fit are well worth it. I also like that I can control which device the Bose headphones are connected to using the app on my phone. Finally, I like that the Bose will connect to two devices at once, so I can be watching YouTube or listening to music and if my phone rings, the headphones switch automatically so I'm not fumbling around to take them off. Of course, I can't tell how well the microphones work, I'm always on the sending end, but I haven't had any complaints that I sound funny when using them through my phone. I'll give that a pass Why I chose these over the Sony XM3 or XM4s. Like I said, I have a pair of Sony CH710s that I use for work. They sound good, but not great and I have heard the XM4s sound much better than the 710s. My problem is, within weeks of owning the CH710s, one of the plastic bands that holds the plastic part of the headband in place broke. I was using them and a piece of plastic landed on my desk. I looked around to see where it came from and I was shocked that it broke off my (new at the time) headphones. I expect better build quality from Sony so I was disappointed and didn't trust them when it came time to buy a good pair for home. I was intrigued by the Apple AirPods Max, but, can't find them anywhere, and the price is almost double what I paid for the Bose.

This is a good headphone if you’re a traveler and spend a lot of time on the phone. The noise canceling is great and voice recognition is probably better than all the ones I’ve tried. It’s comfortable and light does not heat up. Battery life is not as long as some other brands but 20hrs is pretty good. Sounds quality is not as loud if you’re looking for heavy bass. The Bose app is not very reliable and difficult to get connected for certain features although it still connects to the Bluetooth to use the headphones and noise canceling. Overall a very good headphone!

Great investment in headphones. Perfect for flights, even daily commute. Becomes a nuisance when its hot outside because of the sweating. Sound is clear, deep bass, high vocals. I would not mind it being able to be slightly louder, but I guess its for safety reason. Battery life is ridiculously good. Phenomenal Noise Cancellation. Great Buy . I would give it 4.75 out of 5 stars just for the limit on the volume.

So im very parcial to bose due to my love of there quality. However i got with my girlfriend that has the sony 500s and she also recommended me getting theses after trying them out at the store. Ive used them everyday sence buying them and they work great i would recommend anyone looking for some usefull headphones for the office, gym, or around the house defently check these out. They even have a internal mic that i use for meeting and phone calls. It works great and from the feedback ive heard you can hear some background noise from whats around you but when you speak its clear and over takes the noise. Hope this review helps you find the right head phones. Moreover, the battery life has been great it lasts about 18 hours of constant play usely i charge them every 3 days. The charging time takes about 2 hours i think. One down side that i have not found out is i think your not able to use them when its charging.

First the good. The noise reduction is amazing and much better than anything I’ve heard. The comfort is good and battery life while not the best of headphones 20 hours is still pretty good. Now on the other side the sound quality does not blow me away. I’ve read reviews that said it’s dlightly better than the qc35’s but I’m not sure if that’s the case. Bose really focused on the noise cancellation and call quality and did a great job but would like to have seen more time on sound quality. All in all for $50 more than the qc35’s I think their worth it!!!!

The Bose 700 headphones have a great, rich sound. The noise canceling does a wonderful job of blocking out a lot of the outside noises. The headphones are comfortable to wear. The battery life is exceptional. After a full charge, I get over 21 hours of use. I took a flight to Japan and these never needed a charge. Set up of the headphones is easy. The headphones can also be used to access Amazon Echo "Alexa" or the Google assistant.

Worth every penny. I have had Beats, other Bose head phones, Sony and JBL, but these are the best so far. Great sound, super comfortable, and great battery life. They also come in a nice hard shell case. I would definitely recommend.

Oddly enough, I did not buy the wireless version of these headphones, so can't review it. That said, the wired version of these headphone does feature wireless control from a Bose app on your phone. The comfort is excellent, and I have a large head. The sound is much better than any Bose product I've ever heard, and for those of us with hearing issues, the app allows you to set the bass, midrange, and treble at the same gain as one's hearing aids. The Best Buy electronics guy walked me through the set up in the store, and I highly, highly recommend doing the same. Well worth the money, and the noise cancelling is amazingly better than any other headphones I've had. Highly recommended.

Love these headphones. Have two pair. They’re are comfortable, great with blocking out noise - different levels to choose from and durable. I love that it tells me how much battery life I have so I never worry about them dying while in use.

I originally bought the Sony equivalent but they did not fit my ears. Best Buy made the return very simple and the associate was very helpful explaining the return policy. The Bose have a more oval ear cup and fit much better, for me. Sound quality very similar but the bass tones on the Bose are much better. Also the touch controls are much easier to use. The price tag is hefty but worth the price.

Great upgrade from prior noise cancellation headphones. Battery life is great, huge comfort level and options to further reduce ambient noise while enhancing sound is terrific. If unfamiliar with Bose products they have a good tutorial program for beginners but product is easy to adapt to. Price is steep but worth the investment. Slight downside is length of usb charger cord as Bose has a tendency for these to run short, but a minor one.

haven't experienced the sony xm, so this isn't a comparison. comfort, sound, noise cancellation, and calls have all work very well. only major downside i see is price, so wait for a sale or build up points for a cert. the app does need work, but that isn't completely necessary (i think) if you are connecting to one device. there has been incremental improvement since i bought them.

Just replaced my other Bose Nose isolating headphones and these were just amazing. In love the new design making it easy to adjust. USB C charging and I had 19 hours? Wow. Not to mention that you have 3 noise cancellation levels, 0, 5 and 10. Add in the touch features instead of buttons to raise volume, answer calls and skip or play music. Simply blown away by the upgrades. Pleasantly surprised.

Sound quality is great as expected. I use this for work and am on conference calls all the time. The sound on these calls is great and the noise cancellation is unparalleled. Battery life has held true to 20 hours. The headphones themselves are very comfortable and breathable. The app is easy to use and the quick commands are very convenient. Bose will continue to be my go to brand

Such an immersive listening experience - with several levels of noise cancellation; Putting them on, I felt it was even more comfortable than QC35, and soft cushion cups felt comfortable even after prolonged use. I was using QC35 before the 700, and definitely felt upgraded with several new features that I thought Bose should have brought on long time ago - longer battery life is a big bonus as well! Love it!!!

Let's address the elephant in the room, yes, these are very expensive for bluetooth headphones. BUT, if you are like me you are tired of the cheap $30 bluetooth headphones that deliver mediocre sound quality at best. From the moment I turned these on I was impressed. The noise cancellation is out of this world, we live with my in-laws while our home is being built and my mother-in-law loves to YELL at the TV during football games. I didnt even know she was yelling until someone told me later that night, the Bose Music app is great as well, there are a lot of improvements compared to when these first came out, most importantly an EQ is now in the app. These connect to every bluetooth device I've tried so far, i even use them wired with my Xbox and it is a world of difference! The only drawback I've found so far is that the Aux cord included with these is 2.5mm to 3.5mm instead of your typical 3.5-3.5, however I will gladly buy a couple of extra cords in case I lose mine or something happens to it. A small price to pay for the great quality of these. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality headphones!
