Great connectivity and love that the noise cancelling blocks out all the extra sound on the airplane as I travel frequently.

I believe the sound quality and noise cancellation technology that Bose has to offer is unmatched. Of course these perks come with a higher price tag, but it's totally worth it in my opinion. These are by far the best noise cancelling headphones I've used by Bose. - I love the "gestures" feature, which gives you access to volume control and lets you switch music wirelessly, through the headphones. - The multi-level noise cancelling option is also great. - The batter life is awesome. Lasted me during the whole flight to Asia, and then some. - I also love that if the battery dies, you can simply connect the aux cable and use the headphones as regular headphones. In other words, these headphones can still be used even when the battery runs out.

Not a prior Bose user user, so I felt there is some good sound clarity. The bass is awesome, watching movies with this headphones gives you a feeling like you are hearing the surround system in a DB theatre.

The sound quality is fantastic and feels premium. I wish this was foldable, like QC 35/45, but overall, I like it.

For the price, which is expensive, they are very good headphones. I'm happy with my purchase. It would be nice if they had a good manual showing all options and features. It was cumbersome to have to go to Youtube to get that information.

The headset sounds decent with music, the noise cancellation works well, and the headphones transfer between computers well. It’s phone call detection is wonky at best. I use a SIP phone at times and sometimes the headphones don’t ring but pick up the call, sometimes it disconnects from the computer or even sometimes turns off during the call. For those of you thinking you can use these with other voip applications like discord, good luck. They stop transmitting voice and when it detects a voice application in use, it disables all other sound. All in all, I think the Bluetooth system can be massively improved upon. Another minimal gripe is the fact that you have to have the Bose Music app to pair it with your phone.

      Posted .

      Hello Arc32503,

Thank you for leaving your review of the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700.

I am sorry to hear you have had issues with VOIP calls, this certainly isn't the experience we would expect for our customers and will feed this report back accordingly. For support, I would recommend visiting the Bose website's contact page.

With regards to the Bose Music app, it is not necessary to have the app to be able to pair to your phone, you can use the phone's standard Bluetooth settings to pair up. The app is an alternative optional method which brings further functionality to the headphones, including active noise cancellation preset adjustment, and smart assistant setup.

      Kind regards

Jeff G - Bose Customer Support bose

These are great! I upgraded from the corded QC’s only to get away from the cord. I fly quite a bit and getting in and out of my seat could be a hassle with the cord. Great job by Bose, as usual.

Noise is picked up on calls louder than your voice. The features do not work correctly. Sometimes I can say answer when receiving a call and sometimes even tapping on the ear doesn't answer. The connection gets flaky at times. The best part is the truly noise canceling. If you need it for more than that, dont buy.

All the high end ANC sets have pros and cons...

My experience after using both, Sony - WH-1000XM3 sounds better and has a more effective ANC. The huge "but" in the equation is bluetooth multipoint, Sony doesn't have it and the Bose 700 has a finicky but acceptable mulitpoint solution. If multipoint isn't a factor to you, hands down get the XM3's. All the reviews you've read are accurate. The Bose 700 sounds flat on the low end and almost too bright on the high end. The XM3's are amazing across frequencies. Sony's ANC wins out, just seems more powerful and does a much better job canceling out close proximity speaking. Call quality on the Sony set is meh at best and the Bose 700 sounds great to your call recipient and on MS Teams. Mulitpoint pushed me into the Bose 700, if Sony had a multipoint solution it would be the clear winner of the high end ANC headphones debate.
