I've always been a light sleeper, and my tinnitus has added a new layer of pain and suffering to my nights. While this product may not address all tinnitus suffers problems, it has been a godsend to me. I can change the sound type to meet my current night's needs, and being able quickly adjust volume levels is also a major plus. Admittedly, it can be a little quirky (which is true of most wireless products), but I've yet to have a major issue with it. My only advice to those purchasing this device would be to go to Bose's website and download the update manager. This is because the charging base can also be updated, and this requires connecting it to the computer via the usb cable and running the update software.

My husband uses the fan noise to help him sleep and I don’t like the fan since it keeps the room cold in the winter time. When I discovered these, I thought it would make a perfect Christmas gift. Got these for my husband and he loves it. He said he is getting the best sleep with these on. The trouble starts here for me. While my husband is getting the best sleep, I am not. These sleepbuds are causing him to snore. Never had problem with snoring prior to him using these sleepbuds. He’s tried sleeping without them and no snoring on those nights. Do I buy a set for myself or return these? That’s my dilemma.

For the price I wasn’t sure if the buds were worth it and would block the snoring plus other noise. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased that the buds are comfortable and do their job! Rested

Although expensive, these earbuds fit perfectly and really do help mask noise. If you turn on the sound function, it will mask even more. Expensive but I’m getting a better night’s sleep.

I bought these in hopes that they would help block out noise while camping with my son's cub scouts. I sleep with a loud air purifier at home to help me sleep. I cannot sleep when it is too quiet or with loud snoring from neighboring tents. These worked like a dream. They blocked out all surrounding noises like snoring and the loud owl that was near our campsite and provided me the background noise I need to fall asleep and stay asleep. This was the first campout that I was able to sleep through the entire night. Love these!

So I bought these to hopefully drown out my wife who sleeps with TV on and stay up later than I do. They could not do that. Theft are comfortyto sleep with for the most part by not great at sound isolation when the person is right next to you talking on phone or watching tv. I also would be awake too long and found the only tolerable sound track to repeat too often and wished for more of a variation of spa like sounds. The other tracks I found annoying. In hindsight probably a waste of 250$ but maybe with updates it has great potential as other headphone I cannot sleep with due to bulky ear pieces.

A little on the expensive side but exceptionally comfortable and helpful for the girlfriend falling asleep while I'm playing games or watching TV. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind something in their ears at night.

These sleep buds are wonderful if you are a light sleeper. Drown out noises without a lot of volume. They stay in your ears all night and are comfortable even sleeping on your side.

For nearly $300 Bose Sleepbuds feel cheap. Furthermore, they are very temperamental (aren't most Bluetooth products?) and sometimes pair to the phone right away while other times the app displays, 'Still searching...' There have been nights where they pair then disconnect right away, and it gets to the point I just put them away and give up. There are other nights where they pair up right away and play thru the night no problem. I bought these with the hope they would mask my neighbors who bang, thump, and blare music at night. It's louder than what a white noise maker can mask. Unfortunately my problems are also bigger than these $300 buds can solve. Sometimes I can get them positioned just right so that most noise is masked. A normal, non-light sleeper (unlike myself) would probably think these work pretty well. Comfort is my next issue. While I read previous reviews that these are good for side sleepers, they are anything but. They gouge and tear into my ear on the side I'm laying on. They squeak and vibrate against the pillow every time I breathe. Overall very disappointed. I've gotten no better sleep since buying these, and in fact, have just further complicated things. $300 is a lot of money to be out for what are essentially fancy, yet cheap, earplugs.

I was hesitant about buying these due to the reviews that cautioned about problems with charging buds. I have not experienced any difficulties at all. Actually the opposite is true. They are easy to us and pop into their charging case with ease. I bought them to mask my spouses snoring and they work wonderfully. If I do hear him at all, it is only for a second. Truthfully, I haven’t slept this good in years. The quiet noises allow my mind to unplug from the pressures of the day and I go right to sleep. Definitely worth every penny.

I have enjoyed these sleep buds they are very comfortable and really do a great job of masking noises. I would recommend these to any one who needs a quieter nights sleep

I occasionally have problems with insomnia due to not being able to shut down my mind, and this helps me tune out and get to sleep. Compared to the cost of not getting sleep, these are pretty affordable.

Doesnt block out everything, but does what it was meant to. Great ambient tracks with immersive sound that blocks out most sounds during sleep. Comfortable fit in ear.

I bought these after reading favorable reviews and knowing the quality that Bose represented. After the first night (which I will admit was a great nights sleep) the cartilage in both ears were extremely sore. I made an adjustment to the size, switching from medium to small, thinking that would solve the issue. I tried the second night but my ears were so sore I had to take them out and go back to my trusty earplugs to drown out my husbands snoring. After reading several online forums, I realized I was not the only one to have this issue. I decided to keep them, however. I let my ears rest for several days and decided to try just one side and put my earplug in the other, as I really enjoyed the choice in noise blocking sounds vs the stone silence of just wearing ear plugs. I came to the conclusion that sleeping on my side is what was driving the metal charging portion into my ear, so now only wear the bud on the opposite ear that I sleep on. Hopefully future upgrades to the sleep buds will address this issue. Some folks online resorted to placing medical grade tape over that portion each night to reduce the discomfort. I’d love to be able to wear both each night but at this point it’s not possible.

these worked great but u sometimes had issues and bose would replace them. they quit making them I think they are going to make them better. please do bring them back. bose refunded my money on both sets

These are not perfect, but I find they help me sleep next to someone that snores. It is more of a mask of the sound than it is a blocking of the sound. They are relatively comfortable for sleeping on my side.

The design is fantastic! The sleep buds are soft, and incredibly light weight. They block out most sounds, but if there were an emergency and a fire alarm was going off, you would definitely hear it. The negative is that there are only a few sounds to choose from and the only loop for 5-seconds, this can become annoying after awhile. The idea is a great one, and sounds can be updated by Bose through the app when them deem fit, but for the high price point, you need to truly understand what they are about. Hopefully Bose will update the app soon and the sounds will increase in option and length of loop. It would be fantastic to have meditations or anxiety relief scripts offered as well. Overall, they are nice, but a bit steep in cost at this time.

Bought for my wife for Christmas. Med tips weren’t comfortable. She is now using the smallest tips. She’s concerned with hearing loss, so keeps volume low, which may not be loud enough. She hasn’t given up yet.

I have had a early version of this and Bose has been steadily improving. Very comfortable. I have sleep tracking software and my sleep is much improved. The device can only play through the Bose software.

First- they are comfortable. Don't notice they are in and as others have said, even with ear on pillow, they are still comfortable. I downgraded rating because of the limited sounds available to download and the limited number of sound that the memory can hold....must delete a sound to add. 12 sounds are the max. For me, I've only found about 6 sounds that I like out of their limited selection. The carrying pouch could be a little bigger. Tight fit for the case plus charge cord.
