Too big for my ear canal

Thank you for your recent review of the Noise Masking Sleepbuds.
I'm glad to hear you were impressed by the concept but am very disappointed to hear they didn't work for you. There are a 3 different sized sets of tips included with the product to help you obtain a better fit. In most cases, the general user will be able to find a set that meets there needs and occasionally, you may need to use two different sizes as our ears aren't always identical. Unfortunately, in some rare instances, none of the sizes will be suitable.
Again, I'm very sorry to hear you have not had the best experience, and I thank you for taking the time to consider the product.

However, these buds fell WAY short of what Bose is known for, quality! first of all the price point is way too high for just streaming a set amount of sounds. the second and most important point as to why I returned these buds was because of the high pitch sound that the ear buds would produce while playing the sound. even after updating the case, buds, pairing and unpairing, as well as fulling charging the case, nothing removed the sound. the build quality and esthetics of the product are incredible and beautiful, but the internals need more work.

Unfortunately I sleep on my side and could not get comfortable. And to install one new sound it can take up to 8 hrs. Really? That long?? That’s worse than uodating a Tom Tom from 2005! Even though they weren’t for me I still love bose . I’m sticking with the free sleeping sound apps for now.

Thank you for providing a review of the Bose noise-masking sleepbuds. We're sorry to hear that you had to return them. We appreciate the feedback. Just for future reference, in order to achieve all-night battery life, the Sleepbuds use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless technology, which is optimized for low battery consumption. While BLE works well for sending wireless commands (play, pause, etc.), it’s not optimized for fast file transfers.
This means that it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours to transfer a sound from the Sound Library to the sleepbuds. As we explain in the Bose Sleep app, we recommend that you select a sound from the Sound Library to transfer before you go to bed. That way, the sound will be available for use the following night.

As the vast majority of people sleep with their ear pressing into a pillow, designing an in-ear device comfortable enough was of utmost importance. It is essential that the Sleepbuds rest comfortably and securely in your ear.

To achieve a form factor small enough to be comfortable for sleeping and fit a battery that can support sound playback for an entire night, we made the conscious design decision not to stream audio to the Sleepbuds. Instead, the sound files are stored on each of the Sleepbuds and played back locally.

These Sleepbuds come with 3 different sizes of ear-tip (Small, Medium and Large) for different sizes of ear. We would recommend that you try different sizes for each of your ears to ensure that you find a fit that you are more comfortable in for prolonged periods of time!

I did not know this until I got a note on the Bose app until I was setting this product up. The battery is already failing. You should have this product from your inventory.

Is the fact that you cannot play anything from your phone on these ear buds. For example i receive calls at all hours and it is imperative for phone to override ambience sounds. Earphones should have an option to use as regular buds if need be.
