I bought Bose earbuds because my girlfriend snores I thought it’s a Bose product it will work and boy was I wrong the products it’s in your ear and it hurts your ear canal to the point when you wake up your ears are in pain so the product sucks in my Opinion I think maybe they need to keep working on it

The first thing you'll notice when you open up the Bose noise-masking sleep buds is the quality. Opening the charging case, it's a wonderfully weighted, aluminum case, not plastic, with a solid, rubber, non-slip base. The case opens by sliding the lid rearward. You are presented with the two sleep buds, and 5 little round lights. These show the state of charge, with all five dots lit showing a full charge. To the left and right of these are two longer pulsing lights. These are the charging lights for the two sleep buds. The sleep buds are attached to the case with two tiny magnets on the underside of the units. They come with the 'Medium' fitting installed from the factory. Testing out all three sizes, the medium fitting worked best for my wife. I've been excited for my wife to test these out so see if she can drown out my snoring, which I believe is going to be the primary use for most people spending this much on dedicated sleep buds. These buds DO NOT play music through them at all, just the preloaded soothing sounds from Bose. They are not headphones. And they are not noise-cancelling, simply due to their small form. They are about the size of your pinkie when taken out of their rubber ear shaped molds. Download the Bose Sleep App and you can connect the sleep buds to your phone. In doing so, you are able to connect to the sounds that will play in your ear as you sleep. I chose to take the sleep buds out of the case and put them on top of my phone as they connected. You can adjust the sound volume and the style of ambient sound that you want to hear, ranging from babbling brook to subtle wind, to waterfalls. I believe there are 12 sounds overall. So - with my wife excited to try these out, she walked around the kitchen and pushed them into her ears, getting a nice seal on them, and curving the ear shaped pieces into the recess in her ear. She then had my son and I pretend to snore and try and talk to her, while she adjusted the volume and a broad smile beamed across her face as she shouted 'I can hardly hear you both at all!!!!'. This appeared to be the answer to her prayers, and respite from my snoring! She was soooo excited. So these things really do work! Moving forward to this weekend, and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars, we went on a trip to see family, we stayed up late after traveling from Dallas to Atlanta, and my wife was really tired. We got into bed and she tried putting the sleep buds in her ears while tired and in the dark. This to me, I consider a 'real world' test. She was able to get the buds in her ear, but couldn't get them 'locked in' to her ears, so they were uncomfortable and fell out. She tried three more times and got frustrated, gave up and resorted to her tried and true earplugs. What she would like to see from Bose is a short video on how to insert the ear buds correctly, so that she can practice and get it right every single time. When she tried them on in the kitchen as mentioned above, she was able to look at the buds, adjust the orientation after looking at them, and make them fit snugly, and therefore reaping the full benefit from the product. In the real world scenario, trying to insert them in the dark, while tired, she wasn't able to get them to lock in to her ears, meaning they didn't work at that time. Overall, the Bose Sleep Buds ARE a great product. The are well engineered, well presented with a robust design, casing, and are aesthetically pleasing. And they DO work, and they work well. They are however, a little more challenging to get into your ears in the dark when you are tired, and they are quite expensive, as a replacemment for your usual ear plugs.

These do not allow you to play music. Only the preset sounds which for the price I did not think was worth it.

Ive had these now for a few days and had the opportunity to try them out. First off I just want to say these are typical Bose quality earbuds. They came nicely packaged and have a very nice carry/Charging case along with a soft pouch to put it all in. Second, the earbuds really fit perfectly into my ears, and they are very comfortable to wear for long periods. Pairing with my phone was simple and trouble free once I downloaded the Bose Sleep App. But here's where I have my complaints. These are fairly pricey and can only be used with the Bose Sleep App. They will not work at all without the app. Now I did not have this information when I was asked to try them. But OK this is what they are. Now for the app, you get just 10 different sounds and no opportunity to purchase any others. This is just my opinion, but for the cost they should have at least some way to purchase different sounds. There are literally hundreds of soothing sleep apps that have many more choices. 10 sounds like a lot, but after a few nights with these the choices just seem too limited for me. And the choices they do have well, just aren't that great. Ive tried other soothing, relaxation apps that have many more choices. Hopefully Bose will add to these in the future. Right now these just really are not any better than what I am using right now. I have very comfortable earbuds and virtually unlimited choices for soothing relaxing night time sleep sounds, Bose limits me to just 10. It is a bit difficult for me to leave this review, because I own several Bose products and all of them are just of incredible quality and I absolutely love my Bose. But these Bose Sleep Buds just don't quite do it for me. The Bose Sleep Buds are comfortable and sound great as expected, but until there are more choices in the sleep sounds, I just cannot recommend these at this time.

Great idea bad implementation. Adding different sounds takes forever. Hopefully version 2 will be better

Returned after 2 nights. Hard to get them in charger, just didn’t like what they accomplish for the price.

There are severe battery issues with these earbuds.

Had issues with these and returned them once, then they were recalled by Bose.

The sound blocking was very good but they irritated my ears overnight. Unfortunately hd to return.

Right bud works half the time. I quit using them.

Buds re cool but sleep sounds are very expensive, I hear better sounds on my google home mini.

This is a review of the Bose - Noise-masking sleepbuds. I bought them and was disappointed and returned them two days later. The reason is they are uncomfortable to sleep on as a side sleeper. In addition to that I could hear everything while wearing them including my husbands snoring. It's an expensive item that does not work.

Extremely disappointing. The sleepbuds didnt work at all. Hoping i get a refund since they recalled them later but i was not in the country. I had bought them on a visit to the US. Then took them to India. Hope i get some refund or exchange.

I really love these Bose sleepbuds. I'm an incredibly hard sleeper and my alarm tends to wake up people around me so having an in-ear alarm was incredible. Unfortunately Bose recalled all of these stating that the battery malfunctions. And they are not planning to release them anytime soon.

Can not use your on sounds. Or use as headphones. A waste.

I actually tried to use these as I needed to get sleep without the noise. I loved the design and the idea behind this but they kept falling out of my ears and there was a clicking sounds so at the end I had to return them. I still love Bose but they need to work on this.

They don’t work very well. The online support is not very effective.
