Haven't slept this good in years!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband is a serious snorer. I've tried everything - foam ear plugs, wax ear plugs, white noise machines, custom ear plugs. I've been getting by with the white noise machine and cramming ear plugs in my ear but have been searching for a better solution. Also, I am a side sleeper so wearing headphones never worked for me. The Bose Sleepbuds have been the perfect solution. I wear the medium-sized plugs, and they feel great. They don't fall out at night and are comfortable to wear. I found that the Warm Static sound is perfect at masking my husband's snoring and has allowed me to get a full nights sleep - something I haven't done in years. Love that it has an alarm setting, and it works like a charm. I've used some of the other sounds to just relax or take a quick nap. Some sounds are kind of annoying to me, but I like that they have various options to match individual preferences. I would normally wait until something like this went on sale before buying. However, I was so desperate to try something to be able to sleep that I paid full price and have absolutely no regrets.

Love them!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After three nights of sleeping with these, I don't ever want to be without them again. I LOVE the quality construction, especially the really cool charging case. The buds fit my ears perfectly just the way they came, and I have not had any problem with them falling out. After my initial setup, the buds have paired quickly with my phone every time I've taken them out of the case. I find them easy to put in my ears, and the app is very simple and intuitive. I go to sleep much faster than without the buds, as they mask all sorts of intrusive sounds, such as my CPAP machine, my wife's occasional snoring, traffic, etc. This morning I didn't even hear my wife running her bath water, which usually wakes me up. I love the alarm function, as it's easy to set and very effective at waking me up, though not in a jarring way. The fact that I have to find my phone to silence the alarm works well for me. I literally have no complaints at this point. While the buds are not inexpensive, after using them I would buy them all over again.

Good concept but not for everyone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received these cause I have a hard time sleeping at night with noises all around. Thinking that with the Bose name they would be an awesome product that may help. Although they offer some relieve in noise reduction they don't come with the noise cancellation like my other Bose headset has. I don't mind the limited choices of sounds they have to play in the background: *Rustle: Wind kicking up leaves. *Cascade: A cascading waterfall. *Shower: Gentle rain falling on leaves. *Circulate: A fan with an electrical undertone, like an air conditioner. *Altitude: Airplane cabin ambient noise. *Swell: Rolling and crashing waves. *Campfire: Crackling fire and softly chirping crickets. *Warm static: Broadband noise with high frequency content removed (also known as “brown” noise). *Downstream: A gentle stream. *Tranquility: A drone-like melody that some might also refer to as a spa-like sound. I don't think everyone would like to lay in bed listening to those sounds trying to sleep? I like the fact that you can set your alarm and able to hear it through the headset. They fit very comfortably in the ear and come with a nice setup for storage and charging.

They work great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging is awesome and very modern. The buds come in a round metal case which is about 3 inches wide. It will easily fit in your purse or back pocket. It is metal and it has a slide sideways lid. The buds are protected well and they are easy to set back into the case which has magnets which direct the buds back into position to recharge. The case itself is a charger even when not plugged in for many hours. The ear buds themselves are very nice. They are high quality and fit nicely into my ear without causing any discomfort or pain. They feel soft and flexible. The easily go into my ear shape and stay put even while laying on them. You are offered a choice of 10 different sounds to help you relax and sleep . The sounds are very clear and do help me relax. The part I do not like is this can not be used to listen to my own music or sounds. So for the price they are worth it to someone who really enjoys the sound of choices. The noise is cancelled and I can not hear anything but the sounds of waves right now. So they work great according to what they were made for. I only do not like the price for just 10 choices in sounds.

Sleeping like a baby!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was given the opportunity to test this product and I must say, it’s amazing!! I live next to a railroad crossing and the train comes by at least twice between the hours of 12am-4am. The conductor blows the train horn several times as to make sure he wakes me up! The Bose sleep buds did their job. Not only did I sleep thru the night, I slept thru the train horn. They are easy to charge and easy to take on the go. They fit perfectly in your ear, without the risk of falling out, if you move around a lot, like myself. I really like the preprogrammed sounds (the waves sound is my favorite), the alarm option and that I am the only one to hear it at 5:15am and how comfortable they are. This is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to change their sleeping pattern and get a good night sleep, every night.

Noise MASKING Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ears buds do a great job at masking annoying noises, such as snoring. They use white noise to accomplish this, I read many reviews bashing the product because they didn't understand how it worked. If you can't sleep with white noise, this product is not for you. I gave this product 4 stars because for $250 I think they should have included noise cancelling tech, I can appreciate that due to its size bluetoothing music is not possible. The part that really bugs me is that the Bluetooth sport earbuds, that play music, are $50 cheaper than than these. This product should be priced at or below the sport earbuds, they are more specialized but have fewer functions. Sure they are small enough to sleep with however they are small because they dont have extra functions, so why are they more expensive? Overall, I would recomend to a friend as long as they could sleep with white noise.

So far, pleasantly suprised!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure how well these would work - but I am a very light sleeper and am constantly missing out on a good night's sleep due to various factors, most involving my kids. The google home plays white noise on my nightstand, and I often sleep with earplugs - but they aren't very comfortable and I wake up with my ears hurting or itching. I was excited when I saw this product, because I have had great experience with Bose products in the past. I went to Best Buy and bought these just today. I verified that I could return them within 2 weeks, should they not work as well as I had hoped, as $250 is obviously a lot to spend on a product like this if it doesn't work well. I came home, downloaded the app, and played around with the sounds. All of them sound pleasant to me. I decided to give them a try and laid down for a nap. Generally to get a good afternoon nap, I have to have white noise playing as well as the door shut and sometimes even earplugs in. The kids just make too much noise outside the bedroom door for me. Well I put them in and before I knew it, I was sound asleep. I slept for almost 2 hours and when I woke up it was because I was too warm. I was very surprised to discover that my wife had been organizing our closet while I was asleep and I hadn't even noticed any noise. In addition, the bedroom door was wide open, and I hadn't been woken up once by the kids. They were also extremely comfortable in my ears. I could comfortably lie on side. It was incredible to have the sound coming into each ear evenly, regardless of how I was laying. And the sound is pretty cool too. It's in stereo, so it's not EXACTLY the same sound in each ear. It's a nice balance. I'm excited to see how I do over the next couple of nights, and will update this review if my opinion of them changes.

Do they work? YES, with few issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My review is completely based on test earbuds in Hotels environment. Spend 5 nights in 4 different Hotels and they deliver. Few points that i like to share. I couldn’t use every sound for lets say Hotel #3 (the noisiest) only two sounds works. my least favorite but they works. (circulate attitude) My favorite Rustle and Shower doesn’t work in Hotel#3 at all. I noticed you have to look for sound that fit noise, sound may or mayn’t be your favorite but try it. What good is Volume lever is at 65%(Hotel#3) and that is good in my opinion if you go 100% can you now sleep with it? You may kill outside noise but now you are stuck with noise at 100% from earbuds no matter how nice sound is it’s questionable, my opinion In Hotel #2 every sound works great just some humming noises from outside A/C unit and regular Hotel noise. I am very pleased with results and fit of Earbuds. Hotel#4 outside traffic noise not heavy but noticeable without earbuds, with pleasure, very happy:-) Few problems i encountered. Twice during night i like to change something but earbuds were disconnected from app, still playing sound but disconnected so reconnecting was pain in 5 am :-))) Other small issue they don’t fit in box right away you have make sure they do. Now my big concern. Take out earbuds from tip and they are extremely small i just can imagine size of battery in it. My concern is how durable is such battery if you charge and discharge it frequently? You can’t replace and it’s look like if battery doesn’t last long only option is to buy new one. 250$ again? Hope Bose has some reasonable answers. So far happy as traveling frequently and sometimes staying in very funny Hotels looking forward to my trips .

I'm in love with sleeping!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If there is anything in your life that affects your sleep negatively, you need these! They are so helpful! The case and the buds themselves are very well made and the sizes for the ear pieces were easy to change to fit perfectly. I love the way the lid on the case opens so smoothly and easily. It also makes it easy to see that the buds are actually charging although you have to make sure they're in there exactly right or they won't charge (like my left one did yesterday). I really like the simple layout for the app as well. I do wish there were more options for the audio loop, but the rain works well enough for me that it's not a big deal. The other thing I really like is the alarm feature. Because of my work schedule and trying to spend as much time as possible with my family, I sleep in shifts and it is really easy to set all the alarms I needed and the days on which I needed them. True "set it and forget it" technology. Another added benefit is that the alarm sounds in my ears only. My husband never hears it or is in anyway disturbed by my crazy hours. I originally set my alarm on my phone for the first three days as a backup (don't want to over sleep and have someone calling me from work at 4am it see where I'm at) and only needed it once when I had forgotten to charge them fully. (They were at 46% and ran out somewhere during four hours of sleep). Unlike traditional earbuds these fit comfortably inside my ear and I am able to roll over on both sides of my ear and not feel any uncomfortable pressure from my pillow which is an awesome improvement over anything else I've found to date.

Compact earbuds w/ soothing sounds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried these Bose sleepbuds for the last couple of nights. It's a little different then what i'm used to i normally play background music on my phone to help me sleep. I manage to sleep with these on. I woke up with these on when i under estimated the volume. You have to download the app first and sync up, it wasn't too complicated to set up it has a lot of music options you can play while sleeping. I have to admit it was pretty weird at first because i've never tried anything like this but it wasn't too bad. The sleepbuds are very small. You cannot play actual music with these, i read because the sleepbuds are so small they do not have enough battery to actually play music. The music options are actually built in the sleep buds and play on repeat. I really like the carrying case it looks sleek and futuristic. i get a lot of compliments when i explain what these sleep buds do. I trust in Bose products so i know these will last a while. I will be using these mostly for college. I sometimes sleep in the library between classes. The app has options for timer, alarm clock, updates, and white noise music options.

Great Job, Bose
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main reason I got these because I sleep with a CPAP machine and it is not really quiet sleeping with a hose pushing air to your nose. I also have a white noise machine, but it is only blocking out noises from outside my bedroom, but not noises literally on my face. I tried several earplugs from CVS, but I got irritated by them because of discomfort. Here comes the Bose Sleepbuds. I will spare you the details of the aesthetic of the box and designs because you can judge it by yourself. It is so comfortable that I don’t even feel like it is there at all. Once you put them on, they snap right in your ears and pick a soothing sound to fall asleep to. My wife works at night so she often watch TV at night during the weekend and I usually complain that the TV is so loud that it’s disturbing my sleep, but once I have these baby on, I don’t even hear a thing. Leading to a happier marriage :-) I said good bye to car horns, ambulance siren, and even a mid summer thunderstorm in Chicago. I know some people don’t like it too loud, but I am accustomed to the white noise machine humming along all day at work so this is pretty soothing for me to go to sleep with it. Was it a good investment? Heck ya, I just hope it doesn’t run out of battery on me in a year or two given that it’s so tiny. Mad props to the Bose team for this product.

Best night sleep in a long time!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was at a point of desperation, dealing with a partner who snored like a freight train every.single.night. (Not the stop breathing kind that something can actually be done about - but the kind that comes on with old age and being a jerk about!) So my choice was either to hurt him, divorce him, or find some relief. I'd tried kicking him out of the room (the best results!) but that was only temporary; be sleep deprived until the rare occasion he'd go out of town (bad plan); or wear ear plugs (just didn't work!). Then, I read about Bose's sleep buds. Truly, I said to myself, this is one of the those products that is just too good to be true. No way that it would work. Why hadn't I heard of them before?? And the cost! How could I justify $250 right before the holidays? For ear plugs? Well, I'd reach the point of no return. After the final night of having to endure Super Snore Man and getting about 2 hours of sleep before a Really Big Day, I bought these online from Best Buy at full price (a rarity for me) stormed and stomped out of the house and drove to pick them up. I could not wait to get through my Really Big Day to try them. And I did. It was like the Heavens opened up, the Angels sang, and all was right with the world. It was the best sleep I'd had in a long time. I did not wake up once. I did not hear Sir SnoreALot at all - but then again, I was THAT tired. Boy, did I feel good the next day! Now, I hesitated writing a review then because I wanted to see if it would last. It's been a week and I can honestly say that I have now had a consistent good night of sleep every night. I DO hear Mr. McSnoreFace on occasion, but that is generally because I'm still up, but after I fall asleep I hear nothing. Admittedly I have to have the volume up fairly loud and I do worry about not hearing important things like the smoke alarm and such, but trust that the alarm will get through the sleepbuds, or my dog will bark or my cats will do something, or maybe even Mr. ISleepThroughEverything might even wake up, but I'm not worried. All I know is that these little puppies are the BEST $250 I have ever spent in my life. Now, if there are any negatives it is that the range of sounds are limited. I have always used a sound machine because I AM a light sleeper and prefer pink noise - and the closest I can get is the Warm Static. I am adjusting. I'm hoping that there are upgrades coming to enhance these little guys to include more features and trust that Bose will do just that. I also would love for them to make the ear buds more interactive with iphones to include features to allow me to use other apps that would expand the sound range - or allow me to listen to music or whatever. Now THAT would really open up the range of features on these guys. As far a functionality - the ear buds stay in, and only once did they disconnect, but they still played and the alarm still went off at the appropriate time, as there is a feature that will play the last set alarm. I like that. Good work Bose! Looking forward to seeing what you will roll out with future upgrades. Don't just make these obsolete. Then I'll be mad and have to change my mind.

College life sleep saver
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my daughter who is in her senior year of college. I wish we had these year one! Two days in and she can not believe how well she sleeps. Her roommate came in after she had gone to bed and she never woke up. The alarm is incredible too. She gets up early and because she's the only one that hears it she disturbs no one. She tells me they are extremely comfortable too. Highly recommend for college students or anyone that does shift work.

Amazing! Worth the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I agree when they first came out at $299 I thought this is way too much. Now at $250 I thought I need to get this for my wife. She is a light sleeper and she always wakes up with my snoring. So I'm keeping her up and she keeps me up by waking me up to tell me to move or stop snoring. So I bought these hoping they would work and they do! It's been about 2 weeks now and she uses them every night. Also we have dogs and there barking would always wake her up when she takes a nap. Now she is sleeping great at night and during her naps. People complain about the price but seriously my sleep is priceless so $249 is a steal to be able to sleep through out the night. People also wished they could use them to listen to music during the day. I am glad they dont because that increases the chances of them getting damaged or wearing out faster. My wife says at first it felt weird sleeping with them but now she can barely tell there in her ear. I bought the 2 year warranty because as many of you know headphones dont have a long life expectancy. So if your planning on using these every day "365 days a year" then get the warranty. Hope this review helps. I'm thinking about getting a pair for me to be able to sleep through my dogs barking in the morning.

Almost...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was extremely excited when I heard that Bose was developing these. I live in a booming neighborhood in NYC that is plagued with constant construction which often disturbs my sleep. I also have not been lucky enough to win the "considerate neighbor" lottery and often have trouble drowning out the hum of loud TV watching, all night long. I usually fall asleep watching ASMR videos on YouTube but wired or not, earphones are uncomfortable and I wake myself either in pain or a tangle of wires. First off, these earbuds are incredibly comfortable and cause absolutely no discomfort even when sleeping on your side. They are light, tiny, and flexible. The charging case is impressive and beautifully designed. I love that it holds a series of charges so you could rely on the case, on the go for a few nights. I love that you can make those midnight runs to the bathroom without having to unplug or interrupt your sleep sounds. There are many positives but there are a few things I don't love. Largest drawback is that you can ONLY play the preset sounds through the app and for the amount spent, and the incredible comfort, I would love to be able to play my goto sleep sounds and videos. I only found 1 out of the 10 presets helpful which was the brown noise loop. Unfortunately, I found the others either choppy, repetitive, which drives me crazy listening for the pattern, or too sharp for my liking. Also, a few of them seemed to sound too faint even when turned up high. I am hopeful that Bose will additional options with app updates. The brown noise succeded in significantly reducing my sleep disturbances, not 100% but, I'd say about 65%. My other issue was the alarm function. There is currently only 1 option to choose from for an alarm tone and it's awful and jarring. I was shocked that there was no cross fade option between sleep sounds and alarm. It just cuts your sound and goes straight into full volume alarm. I see that there are other sound options in the app but they are grayed out, presently and I assume more options will unlock with app updates. One more tiny gripe, these buds had a odd smell to them in the beginning which made my ears smell funny, too. It has lessened with use and cleaning but, it was a little off-putting. Overall, I'm hoping that Bose with adapt these buds and their capabilities over time and even incorporate some of our suggestions. If this evolution occurs, I think these buds will be little miracles to people like me who just need to sleep.

Worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I realize that they are $250 and that is REALLY expensive for something you just wear at night. But, they are worth it! My wife doesn't snore and it's typically very quiet in our home, but I wanted something that might give me a more peaceful sleep. I was intrigued by them because I do like ambient noise. The app (currently) has 10 different sounds you can choose from. All of them are nice, but I find the nature sounds become distracting after awhile. I prefer the altitude or warm noise because it's constant and subtle, yet blocks out most noise. But, it's really up to your personal preference. I am excited to see what new sounds they will add in the future. The alarms work great, they are not jarring and work really well. I haven't had any connectivity issues with the buds, but it's nice to know the alarm is synced to them so in the event they disconnect in the middle of the night, your alarm will still sound when it's supposed to. Build quality is very nice, everything in the case is magnetic and feels very premium. I am a side sleeper and have had no discomfort with them. I was slightly worried I would because I tend to get ear aches from in ear buds if worn for a long time, but these after 5 straight days, I have not. Overall, if you're looking for a solution to block noise or give you a more tranquil sleep, I would suggest them. I know they're expensive, but they are of high quality and I think you won't be disappointed.

Useful, slight discomfort
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, some background about me. I am a very light sleeper. I recently started a night position and was looking for a way to be able to sleep without my girlfriend having to tiptoe around during the daytime. Our place is about 1200 sqft and the whole place is tiled, noises carry easily and it can be quite loud. So do they work? For me, yes. I would describe them as earplugs and a sound machine in one. Yesterday my girl was in the same room as me doing laundry with some soft music going and I put in the sleepbuds (campfire sounds) and set the volume at about 60% volume and fell asleep. The amazing part is I stayed asleep, even after she told me she took a call in the same room as me while I slept. I did not wake up. The cons? The sound quality is a bit lacking. I came in expecting the sounds to be soothing. I sleep like a baby when it rains, but the "shower" sounds were too low quality to give me that calming sensation that rain usually gives me. They do a great job masking noises, but they did not relax me. There is also some soreness, even though they are very small. I think it's a small price to pay for being able to sleep with noises going on around me though. Due to the cost, i'd recommend trying all other options first. A noise machine, normal earbuds/headphones, and earplugs may do the trick for you. I did try earplugs and a noise machine, but I had trouble because I had to turn the white noise machine so loud that it would bug my girl. Overall, I'd recommend this if the following describes you: 1) You are a side sleeper (normal earbuds won't work here, too painful!) 2) You are a light sleeper (even with earplugs noises still wake you up). 3) Are in a loud enough environment that a noise machine won't work 4) Can stomach the cost

Good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds come in a sleek case and look awesome. The sound quality is good but these ear buds seem to be really quiet and don't drown out my husbands snoring completely. I also toss and turn and had a hard time keeping them in my ears all night. I was afraid to use the alarm function because if they fell out I would have no alarm so I ended up setting a back up alarm just in case. The alarm function works great, if the ear buds are in place.

Didn't Know I needed them..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very comfortable earbuds and the design allows them to comfortably fit in you ear without falling out. I tend to move around a lot, so this was a nice feature. The app is very easy to use and at this writing, has 10 different sounds to choose from. Not all of them were conducive to good sleep for me, but they all would definitely drown out unwanted noise, like snoring or loud traffic, etc. What I like the most is that my sleep is improved! I have a fitness tracker so I kept track of all the stages of sleep (and how long I spent awake) using the Bose noise-masking earbuds and compared it to my sleep when I was just using regular earplugs. There has been a definite improvement by about 5-10% in how long I am in REM, Light sleep and especially Deep sleep. That alone makes this a great product for me. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs to block out noise or just wants to improve the quality of their sleep.

Wonderful!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok. My wife snores a lot and my walls are thin so I got frustrated and somehow found these on a YouTube video so next day went to Best Buy and purchased for $250, yes I was desperate, but so glad I did. Took me a couple of weeks to get used to them and they hurt my ears at first but I guess my ears got used to them cause now I have to check that I still have them in sometimes in the morning. I normally only use them 3-4 nights a week. But it’s great when you don’t have to move from your bed to couch . I think they are worth the money definitely but my friends thought I was nuts . Told them I’m going nuts if I don’t get some sleep. I think most people will love them but does take a lil while for your ears to get used to them so I would say where them every other night at first for at least two weeks. They’re fantastic!!
