As a Mom of 6, anxiety and with all that... Insomnia. Not to mention, my husband's snoring often keeps me awake and as I get older I find it is harder and harder to get back to sleep after waking. I tried these last night and it was incredible! I set the timer for 2 hours and went right to sleep (granted I was exhausted since I only slept 4 hours the previous night). My husband's snoring woke me up after the 2 hours so I turned the app back on for the entire night and next thing I knew it was morning! Definitely worth every penny. The only suggestion I can make to Bose is to keep the app up after the timer expires so that it is easier to restart quickly in the middle of the night...I don't like looking at a phone app at night so I worry it will affect my ability to go back to sleep.

These sleepbuds are great in pretty much every aspect. From the moment you open the box, you will instantly fall in love with them. They are compact, lightweight, high-quality, and durable. The Bose Sleep app works seamlessly with the buds, has a wide selection of peaceful, relaxing sounds, and automatically detects when you take them out of the case. The case itself is marvelous. It's by far the coolest bud case I have ever owned. To charge the buds, you simply place each bud in it's corresponding spot on the case and they charge automatically. It is aesthetically pleasing to the sight, touch, and sound. Very worth it.

I have used the sleep buds for 2 months. Completely transformed my sleep quality I have no problem falling asleep and usually sleep through the night now. In the past I never slept through night, ever. Having these buds playing on very low sound I sleep better than ever. These are *priceless* highly recommend to everyone. The only recommendation I have is enable emergency alerts such as tornado warnings. Thank you Bose for the best sleep possible!

The only thing I’ve found that will allow me to sleep with my snoring husband (have tried various noise makers and foam ear plugs, with no luck). So thankful to have found them! Been using them nightly for about a month so far. A little quirky getting them positioned correctly in the charger, but that’s been my only (minor) issue. Also, the required app has a bright white background - not the most obvious choice for an app specifically designed for nighttime use, but if you get the volume set where you want it, there’s no need to open the app again until morning. Overall HIGHLY recommend!

I am done with Bose products. Every one of them I have purchased I have returned due to sub standard quality and most not working as described. This product is no exception and it is priced exceptionally high. I bought this to combat my wife snoring issue and at first it seemed to work okay drowning out most noises. However the second night, the snoring bled through whatever bottled worthless sound Bose added to their app even with the volume of these cranked to the max. These things look like ordinary wireless earbuds, however they claim with the sounds you will be able to sleep soundly. They were wrong, plus the fact these are higher than regular wireless headphones and do not play music. The app seems to work well to set them up but you need to control these through the app the entire time, meaning volume and choosing a sound. Charging these is through the wireless case and they magnetically attach to the charging pins which look like they will break over time. I will be returning this once again piece of faulty Bose device and never buy another Bose product again.

Being a early adopter, I was really looking forward to Sleep-buds. After using for about 3 days, here is my opinion :- Pros:- 1. Really comfortable in ears, hardly feels I am wearing a device at night. 2. Soothing Music. 3. Great Packaging of the product. Cons:- 1. When I had sleepbuds at almost maximum volume, I could still hear people talking around me. I was expecting sound masking to be the product selling point. 2. The sleepbuds don't connect to charging pins most of the time, not sure if it my piece which is defective but have experienced it multiple times. For the first time, I am going to return a Bose Product as it is at best half-baked in my opinion based on the piece I own.

I'm a big fan of Bose and have way too much spent on them over the years. I travel often and stay in different hotels all the time. I find then to be comfortable enough (not great, but good enough) to sleep with, even on my side. Bluetooth connection is easy and hasn't failed yet. Battery life is about 1.5 nights per charge. The sound options are ok, but wish they had more and better. Overall, they are good. But don't spend the money unless you can afford to "waste" it. With that said, I have recommended to others.

I live on a busy street and a lot of times my wife gets up before me. These have helped a lot in drowning out the noise. Several times I didn’t know my wife was up. The alarm feature is great too as only I can hear it. Some complaints have been they only play the sounds saved in the buds. They are set up that way so you are not hearing your phone ring, email alerts, text messages and so on. Great product!

My wife wears these and since she started I have been sleeping peacefully. See, when I would snore I would eventually be awakened by my wife so I'd stop. That meant there weren't many nights where my sleep and my wife's wasn't interrupted and that meant we didn't get a good night's sleep. Now that she wears the Bose noise masking sleep buds, we both sleep peacefully. My wife loves them and so do I!

Let's just start with this. I am very sensitive and distracted by the sounds around me, so I was very excited to try these out. It took me a couple of days to get the hang of them, but once I did it was an amazing experience. I no longer have to deal with any of the distractions that kept me awake or woke me up throughout the night. Easy to use, amazing to own. On a side note, they work great in an office environment when you need to block out the noises and distractions around you, too!

I'm a fan of Bose products and own several. I bought this knowing that is doesn't play music and was okay with that. I love the idea of these and after wearing them for a couple of nights my ears became just a little sore, but I believe that would pass over time. The reason I've decided to return them is because I can't get any of the optional sounds to download onto the buds even with them charged to 100% and out of the charging case all night next to the phone. I tried to delete one of the nine sounds already on them, but I can't do that. For $250, the app should allow me to do this. I'll keep an eye on how these evolve over time and may decide to buy them again later if they have these capabilities: 1. Able to delete unwanted sounds regardless of how many are currently on the buds (right now you can't do this unless you try to have 10 sounds on them before allowing you to do this, or so I'm told). 2. Have better sound selections and options on the app. For example, just frogs, or crickets, and the ability to combine them if desired.

I absolutely love the concept of these. The idea of having something to block out noise, be a white noise generator, and an alarm that won't wake my sleeping partner is fantastic. However, there needs to be more work in implementation before they are ready to go mainstream. The first issue is fit. There are different sized 'wings' in the package. I found some that fit, however the medium fit a little tight on one ear, and the small is a lot smaller than the medium so for one ear I couldn't find quite the right fit. This meant when I slept, it would pinch against my ear. The second issue is sleep position. I am a tosser-turner when I sleep. I'm a highly active person, and one of the reasons I bought these was to improve sleep to improve my performance in the gym; being highly active, I have been told, makes you more prone to toss and turn when sleeping. When I would roll to my side, head on pillow, the noise would stop playing in one ear because the compression between my head and the pillow closed the gap in the wing where the sound would come out; this created sound in only one ear, which was jarring and would actually wake me. Third issue was sound quality. I expected a lot, I suppose, being from Bose. Most of the sound effects were 'decent', but in every instance they almost sounded 'tinny', probably from the smaller drivers they have to use to get a device of this size working. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sleep an entire night wearing them in the entire time I had them; I tried every night, thinking I would adjust to them. Eventually I didn't adjust and was forced to return them after several weeks of attempts. If you are a solely back sleeper looking to block out ambient noise, these will work. If you sleep in any other position, wait for Version 2. Hopefully they get some athletes on their testing rounds who are hyperactive in their sleep and can truly test the impact of them.

My boyfriend snores and there have been many sleepless nights. I purchased these yesterday to see if it would help. My first full night of rest in 5 years! I woke up feeling relaxed, completely awake and at peace. This is definitely a game changer for me! I highly recommend this product to anyone that suffers from their partner snoring.

The Sleepbuds are a well thought out product with issues in fit and sound quality. The packaging and UI (Bose Sleep app) are great and make it easy to control the Sleepbuds, but there are some design flaws. If they fit your ears perfectly, they work very well, but for me, as only one of my ears fits perfectly with one of the three sizes, they don't completely block out sound or feel comfortable to sleep in. They even fell out of my ears once, and are small and really hard to find at night. I enjoy the variety of sounds coming through the buds, but I noticed that the two buds are not in sync. Also, the quality isn't that great, but I'm used to Sony headphones, so it might just be me. All in all, it seems like a great idea that definitely needed beta testing on a large group of people. For the price of $249, I feel like this product needed many more features and more testing with consumers, as opposed to engineers and Bose employees. Hopefully Bose can improve the features for the next generation.

Product worked very well overall, though the App could have been a bit more intuitive in the pairing process. What impressed me most were two items: 1. Slimline fit - I have "narrow" ear canals, and often ear plugs and other in-ear headphones become irritating. I was VERY impressed with the fit of these, especially that I could lay on my side and not be bothered by this. Very impressive from a technology perspective. 2. Ability to help me get back to sleep - for myself, getting to sleep isn't typically my issue, but if I wake up in the middle of the night, my mind can sometimes get locked onto something and I can spend the next few hours awake. In my first few nights of testing, the white noise (personally using the waves soundtrack) seemed to help me avoid this trap and quickly get back to sleep. This was big value. Overall, I would certainly recommend this product for those wanting more productive sleep, and look forward to trying them on an upcoming Red Eye, where I think they will also shine compared to my large Bose noise cancelling headphones.

Listen, I did a lot of research on these and debated for weeks if I should get them. $250 is a ton of money to spend on a pair of earbuds that can only play 15 (guesstimate) sounds. I am a nauseatingly high-maintenance sleeper. The temp has to be just right, complete darkness w/added sleep mask to be sure, and I need background noise, but specifically an even sound that doesn’t change or fluctuate- like the sound of a fan. I checked into the sounds of the sleep buds to make sure there was a fan sound. I prefer the sound of a box fan, but I read that the Bose “fan” sound was more like the sound of wind turbines. I wasn’t sure about it, so I went to Best Buy to listen to the display. They only had 5 sample sounds, but luckily the turbines was one of them. It seemed like the sound would work for me. I dropped $250 on a pair of headphones for the sole purpose of sleep. I got home and was really excited to use them. They came with about 75% which was 12 hrs of use. I paired them and changed the medium tips to the small and fit them in my ears. They were pretty comfortable at first. Then I picked my sound. It started to play in my ears just slightly above a whisper. I looked at my phone and the volume was almost at 100%. I thought something had to be wrong. I scrolled the volume to the max and I could still hear my roommate sneeze from the other room. These seriously couldn’t mask someone whispering 10 feet away. They are so quiet, but to be certain I decided to use them that night. Besides the fact that they are zero percent effective in “masking” any noises, they aren’t very comfortable. I’m a side sleeper, so as soon as I pressed my head on the pillow, I could feel the bud. It wasn’t necessarily painful, but definitely not comfortable. I still tried them out for the entire night and was not even slightly impressed. If they were $50, I might consider keeping them for traveling (so not to disturb those I share a hotel room with when I crank my noise machine), but at $250, these are going back. I am wholeheartedly disappointed in Bose. I thought you put out better products. It’s a fine idea in theory, but the execution was poor. I’m kind of surprised at the high ratings of these, so I felt like I needed to give an honest review to inform other people who were thinking of spending their hard earned money on these glorified ear plugs.

These earbuds give me a solid 8 hours of sleep. I could just leave it at that - that's pretty powerful. But they do the job. Comfortable. Easy. These are game-changers. One suggestion? Make 'em in black also. No biggie.

Absolutely love the product, finally able to tune out sounds while I sleep. Biggest “issue” is everything is through the app, including the alarm. So if my buds fall out guess I’m not going to work?

I wanted to love these. Overall they work and fit my tiny ears well. But the downside is the plastic portion that sits inside the silicone cover hurts like no other. It would wake me up at night due to the pain and I'd wake up with sore ears. If there is ever a wired all silicone version of these. I'd love them forever. For now I'm stuck using some cheap all silicone earbuds that don't block the noise as well. But they'll have to do because they don't hurt my ears.

Easily one of the most disappointing and worst products I've ever purchased for the price. The instructions are completely non existent after they are set up. Once they are set up the instructions drop off and there seems to be no way to actually find out how to operate the buds. According to the instructions that do exist, sounds need to be loaded onto the buds from the app which takes several hours. Running a business and having two babies at home I don't have several hours to first play with these things to figure out how they work and then several more hours to download sounds. I bought these to relax and improve my sleep not to create more stress. So unless you have all kinds of free time to waste getting these to work, a $20 pair of Bluetooth sleep headphones is a much better choice.
