Posted .Hi, I am sorry to hear you have not been able to connect the speaker to your android phone. This speaker does work with apple devices via airplay and android devices via bluetooth.

The sound quality is great - what you would expect from Bose. However, the Alexa feature doesn't work well. We spent hours on the phone with both Bose and Amazon trying to make it work, to avail. This expensive high quality speaker now functions as an effective door stop.

Once the speaker goes below a certain percentage its very low and just dies off quickly. The sound is great tho and connects really easy.

Posted .Hello, I am glad that you enjoy the Portable Smart speaker. The battery life has up to 12 hours when in active use and up to 24 when in standby mode. You should find that the speaker will take 4 hours to charge fully with the included Bose power supply.
