The battery still on high volume is 4 to 5 hours even after all this time. This new product is NOT the same, it has had consistent issues with incredibly short battery time even when "fully turned off". Audio books at 3/4 volume kill the battery in less than 5 hours and music of any type at mid to low volumes kill the battery in less than 3. It is constantly listening regardless of status, it gets stuck in boot loops for sometimes 15 mins, there is no hard reset, zero app support and I have never ever gotten the app to work properly on my android. I will be returning as it just killed a 100% charge battery in less than 2 hours with an audio book. I gave this a year to sort itself out or just deal with it being a typically high priced piece of garbage and I have had it with dieing in the middle of listening with no warning.

After the initial update, which was quick, can choose between Alexa or Google Assisstant. Have been taking it out on the patio and it’s perfect. I have really good Wi-Fi coverage so not worried about signal loss at a distance.

I use it with an LG 4K tv I have mounted on my back deck. Also nice as it has Alexa and Google Assistants built in. A bit expensive at $350 but you are paying for the Bose name also!

It took about a week to figure out why the google assistant was not discovering my device; enterprise wireless to blame. After falling in love with the audio quality over bluetooth, my dismay came as I now have Google assistant set up correctly; alas the Bose speaker is not compatible with Google Play Music - my current ecosystem of choice. It will sadly go back.

Excellent build quality—metal housing, soft rubber buttons on top and on the bottom to prevent slipping. Comparable or better sound than the Sonos Move (which is significantly more expensive). Recommend!

Can control the treble/bass and the app with it is easy to use too. You can link other Bose speakers together as well.

Not the best out of Bose

Luckily Bestbuy (which has always been great) replaced the speaker with a new one. The second one worked ok for a while and then started to act odd, the battery percentage was incorrectly stated and the speaker would not power up, I spent a lot of money hoping I would get the top in class. The sound is great, when it works!
