Great Bose smart speaker. I bought this for the wife as a gift. She had a Bose Soundlink for several years. She loves this model even more, and the app was easy to set up. Sound is really good anywhere we take the speaker. Also the wifi feature is nice as well and the water resistant for rain or pool splashing. Would recommend.

The speaker provides great sound from such a small speaker, just what you would expect from Bose. The charge last for about 14 hours, I assume that varies with the volume. I use this speaker while Nd working and in a couple of my classic cars. The speaker works great in the cars and prevents you from having to change out the original radio.

This speaker upgrades all the things people wanted in the Bose revolve plus Bluetooth speaker with adding voice assistant functionality and smart features. The ability to connect this with the other bose smart speakers in the line along with being able to bring it with you wherever you go is a nice upgrade. Being able to pick between voice assistants is also another nice feature making it highly versatile. I’ve heard this speaker in store and being able to test it out at home it confirms this sounds incredible. The 360 degree sound really fills a room and sounds better than the previous revolve plus speaker. Definitely an impressive sound stage considering the size and portability of this speaker with good highs, mids and lows. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone in the market for a portable smart speaker.

I love this speaker! This sound is crisp and clear, even at high levels. It's a little pricey but, considering that the Bose Revolve+ goes for $299, paying $50 more to have wifi, Alexa and, to have access to mostly all of your favorite music outlets (Pandora, Amazon Music, SiriusXM), it's well worth the price. I say go for it and happy listening!

I can't even imagine a review less than 5 stars for anything Bose. Quality, long lasting and the sound I want. I want enough bass and I want clear higher tones. Call me old. I love Bass, but I'm also a musician so clarity throughout in the sound is imperative. This lovely device fills the room with the sweet tones of 70's R+B, current pop, bluegrass from heaven, classic rock, instrumental and religious music and also educates me through many podcasts. The spoken word as well as the music is absolutely quality. Take it from someone who knows Bose, you won't get hosed. ;)

It’s really a great speaker. Sound quality wise bose speakers always delivers. I have several bose devices at home. But there are two issues. 1. Software/Firware has an issue. Either alexa service will stop working or music serice will stop working randomly after some days. You have to reaet it by holding the play button for 10 sec and the device restarts. Which hopefully fixes thr issue. 2. The charging connection is somewhat unreliable, sometime after connecting the original charger/cable it will say it is not charging. Need to try couple of times and then it works except for these issues, it a good buy

Great for parties or just great when you’re cooking or cleaning it’s waterproof. It’s amazing. We love it. We’ve already recommended this product to most of our friends because they like that. It’s loud and it carries a base.

Bose seems to be trying to compete with the Sonos line or the HomePod. Its trails FAR behind both in audio performance. It gets plenty loud and has heaps of bass. However, it just doesn’t have the clarify or fullness of Apple and Sonos product that it resembles despite being priced higher than both. It CAN operate on battery for a paltry 12 hours, which is an odd addition. Unless you’re ride-or-die for Bose, consider alternatives.

I joined the Bose smart home speaker about a year ago, and I love the experience. I have the soundbar and the Bose home speaker, so adding this was a no brainer. Plays very well with Spotify and apple airplay (my 2 most widely used features), the Alexa works great (although I have them muted usually). If you are NOT a home speaker person, you may want to look into other options. Dont get me wrong, I love the sound of this speaker. It has terrific depth and power, along with portability. BUT if I did not have Bose home speakers compatible with this.... I would've probably saved $50-$100 going elsewhere for a similar experience, or buying a higher end speaker for $350. My recommendation - 1. get this if you have Bose home speakers that play nicely with it. 2. If you really want it and can wait, wait for some sales. 3. if you want a great portable speaker and want to save $, look elsewhere.

This speaker not only sounds amazing, but also has either the "Alexa" or "Okay Google" options available, and hooks up directly to your Wifi. Durable, loud, and easily portable to the pool, beach or cookout. I'm tempted to get a second one since they pair together for surround sound!

    The Blues On The Bosch

I was in an indulgent mood when eyeing the Bosch line-up and so plumped for the one with the handle. I planned to use it in different rooms of my house. I didn’t not want to envisage it slipping from my grip (carrying too much stuff as per) and having the whole kit & caboodle smash to my tiled floor. So to me the extra for the handle was well worth it. And design-wise, what a simple yet clever idea! Tuned into my Blues music, this Bosch is just lovely. It gets me through dull chores, odious work and tiresome tasks. Yes, it was expensive but it is worth the money. And besides, I’m worth the indulgence! Indulge yourself, get one and you will be happy that you did. Oh, and I love the way that if stopped for a while, it will announce that it is disconnecting from my iPhone and turning itself off. So thoughtful!

I love this thing! Its sound is great, it's portable and the charge lasts a long time. I don't use the Bose app or try to connect other devices like Alexa, I just use it to Bluetooth to my phone and play music on the fly. Love it!

To preface this review, I've left 2 other reviews on the Bose Smart Speaker 500 and Bose Soundlink Revolve+ II which I will be referencing from. Initially, I bought the Smart Speaker 500 and was a little shaky as to whether or not it was worth the money. In the end, I'm very satisfied with the 500 but the same cannot be said about the Revolve+ II. I shredded the Revolve+ II in a review, and returned it. However, I decided to give Bose another shot at redemption and bought the Portable Smart Speaker. This speaker is the much better option of the 2. Each Bose speaker I've owned had its positives and negatives, but this one doesn't really have many negatives. To start with, this speaker is supported by the Bose App. This is such a blessing and one of those "you don't realize what you have until it's gone" sort of deals. The Revolve+ II does not and I believe this to be the biggest game changer between the Revolve+ II and the Portable Smart Speaker. Well that and the added bass modules in the top of the speaker are what truly make this a *chef's kiss* masterpiece. My main complaint with the Revolve is that I didn't feel like it had the signature "Bose touch" that every other speaker or pair of headphones they make have. With the Portable Smart Speaker, it definitely has that midas touch, if you will. There's not really much to say about the audio quality other than it's phenomenal, as Bose products usually are. Thumping bass if you want it, clear mids, and a crisp treble really top this off as one of the best speakers on the market. However, there are a couple shortcomings. First off, the battery life isn't great but it'll do. If there's one thing you trade off for superior audio quality, it's battery life. Most speakers boast a 16 - 18 hour battery life with some even going up to 24+. The Portable Smart Speaker comes with a 12 hour battery life, that I haven't personally tested. But from what I can tell, it's pretty close to 12 hours which isn't bad but it's not great. Second, and this is probably the big one, it still suffers to its design. That was a main complaint from the Revolve was that I felt like the 360° audio was a gimmick rather than a selling point. With the Portable Smart Speaker, it's not nearly as bad but there is a bit of audio degradation. Again it's a trade off for consistent audio quality from any direction rather than amazing audio quality in just one direction. But with the way you can customize the settings in the app, it's not something driving me away from the speaker. Another downside is the "grouping" feature through the app. I've found that grouping them in the app causes them to lose connection with each other every couple minutes or so. Which is not what I'm looking for in 2 $400 speakers (Bose Smart Speaker 500 and Bose Portable Smart Speaker). I have found a work around thru connecting them via Airplay. That causes no problems so that tells me it's an app connectivity issue and not a speaker issue. My final "problem" with the speaker is that it's considerably more expensive than the Revolve. It's even more expensive than the Bose Smart Speaker 500, and I feel like the Smart Speaker 500 has better audio quality. However it's only $30 more from the 500 but $70 more than the Revolve. I'm not saying it's too overpriced, overpriced yes but not too overpriced. I guess this is more of a rip on the Revolve than the Portable Smart Speaker. It almost felt insulting that something only $70 less is considerably and much worse. It's like going to the movies and the small popcorn is $5 and the large is $15 but the medium is $13. It feels like a marketing technique to get me to upgrade to the better speaker for less of a price difference than it should be. Overall though, this is an all around amazing speaker. Extraordinary sound quality with ease of use brought to you by Bose. If you're thinking about picking this bad boy up, please do. You'll thank yourself later.
