Thank you for your post. The charge time of the speaker is 4 hours with the Bose power supply. If using a charger other than the one provided with the speaker, check if the USB charger meets the power requirement for your speaker. Your speaker came with a 3 A (3,000 mA) charger. There is a pretty big glitch for which I have not received a fix for from Bose. You cannot power the speaker off with the power button when not using the speaker. This causes the speaker to drain battery when not in use. If this could get fixed, I would give 5 stars.

Posted .I am so happy to hear you are enjoying the sound quality of your new speaker! Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the speaker off. The speaker plays a tone to indicate that it has turned off. Just so you know, to save battery power, the speaker automatically turns off after 20 minutes of inactivity when it is not plugged in, not connected to a Wi-Fi network and not playing audio.
