With active use, you should expect around 12 hours, 24 hours in standby. You can also conserve power by turning it off when it is not in use. Returned it and got a replacement. So far so good, no more battery issue.

I ended up buying the larger speaker of the Revolve. It appears that this speaker is an older version. Is not easy to use with the older app required to operate. Cannot recommend this speaker.

The speaker is a newer product that uses the Bose Music application not, Bose Connect. It can connect to the internet but also work via Bluetooth whereas the Revolve is a Bluetooth only speaker that uses the older Connect app.

Bass and mids are ok, but its disappointing beyond that. Premium quality is just not there anymore. A JBL half the price sounds better.

Great Sound and Battery, Missing Compatibility

The sound is fantastic. This speaker can get LOUD, has great bass without drowning out the treble, and fills the room or the yard. The battery life is fantastic. So far we've listened to it for about 10 hours without plugging it in and the battery level is still around 60%. I do like the google assistant functionality as well. However, the lack of support for google play music is disappointing as this is the music service I use. I can stream music from the google play music app on my phone via bluetooth, but cannot have the google assistant play music on the speaker directly using voice commands. It seems really bizarre to have the google assistant but not google music support. Hopefully they will add this in the future. Another feature that would be nice would be to have google home support so it can play music at the same time with the other google home speakers in my house. Overall I love the sound, portability, and battery life, but I feel this needs some additional compatibility to make it exceptional.

My speaker randomly decided to become a Bluetooth speaker and stops accepting wifi signals unless I reset it enough times and it magically fixes itself. Bose support is useless as they will give a bunch of simple easy fix answers that offer no solution to the problem.

If Alexa or Google Assistant is linked to your speaker, it will continue listening for voice requests in standby mode, which of course will use battery power. However, when the speaker's fully charged, you can expect up to 24 hours of battery life with the speaker in standby mode and disconnected from its charger. I hope this information helps! Even when I let the power drain. It just kept blinking. I even followed the instructions on how to reset it. It didn’t work. I’m disappointed. I really liked the sound.
