    It's a decent system but definetely not worth ~$300. You can definetely get a Sonos for that price.

    Bose needs to catch up in the software department. My speaker randomly decided to become a Bluetooth speaker and stops accepting wifi signals unless I reset it enough times and it magically fixes itself. Bose support is useless as they will give a bunch of simple easy fix answers that offer no solution to the problem.

    It was very nice when it was working. After a week, it malfunctioned on me. It wouldn’t let me reset. Even when I let the power drain. It just kept blinking. I even followed the instructions on how to reset it. It didn’t work. I’m disappointed. I really liked the sound.

    second Bose speaker am using and same issue. Doesn't come on anymore just barely 18months after purchase. Red light permanently on.

    Slightly better sound than revolve plus but significantly quiter on top of having no aux plug in and not being able to be synced into party mode with other devices. Ended up returning

      I'm sorry to hear the battery of your Portable Smart Speaker is draining, Max. If Alexa or Google Assistant is linked to your speaker, it will continue listening for voice requests in standby mode, which of course will use battery power. However, when the speaker's fully charged, you can expect up to 24 hours of battery life with the speaker in standby mode and disconnected from its charger. I hope this information helps!     Decent sound, awful connectivity/bluetooth with no hardwire option. It randomly loses the connection, rendering the speaker a useless brick.

    Great sound but doesn’t support phone calls - a table stakes feature for a basic Bluetooth device. Returning. Big disappointment from Bose. Best Buy needs to update their product specs to point out this glaring lack of a basic feature.

    I have other Bose speakers that paired easily and intuitively with my iPhone. This one….? Not so much. I already broke down the box and recycled it, or else so would return it.

    I thought Bose was supposed to be the best. When you power off for a few days the battery drains if you don’t have it plugged in because there is no official power off button just disconnects from you phone. It really is not even that loud.for the money not worth it at all!!!

    I was in the market for a portable speaker. I have had several in the last few years in the $100 or less range. This speaker is more expensive because it is miles ahead of others in sound quality and portability. I primarily was comparing this and the new Sonos speaker. The Bose is lighter, has excellent battery life and a handle that is so much more practical in real world use than the Sonos also. The sound quality and volume is very impressive. It gets really loud and there is no distortion. The Bose Music app has lots of features including simple access to Spotify, bass and treble controls and the ability to switch between connection types seamlessly. I do highly recommend buying the additional charging plate when available as I haven't received mine yet but coming from an old Amazon tap device the ability to just pop it on the charger is totally worth it. This is a 5 star speaker. Rather than having 3 or 4 $100 speakers laying around this is the complete package all in one. Well done Bose.

    Having used lots of Bluetooth speakers I’ve learned that there is a ton of quality competition in the market so I’m less concerned with brand name versus what the item really provides. This speaker renewed my faith in the quality of Bose. Amazingly powerful sound (I mean seriously crisp, full sound along with some great bass), decent battery life, water resistant, and can connect to my other Bose speaker (which I love using but isn’t wireless). Because I have an iPhone I opt to use AirPlay2 to play music from my phone or iPad while home but the Bluetooth feature works perfectly too. Once the speaker was connected to the Bose Music app it was a breeze to setup everything including my SiriusXM and the voice assistant options (unfortunately Siri is not built-in but still usable because my phone or iPad are nearby). The handle is interesting (a durable threaded handle that’s semi flexible but appears to be strong). Time will tell if it holds up as well as a more solid material handle would. Ultimately I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a super portable speaker that can handle being your primary wireless speaker to use at home (especially for the sound) that you can take on the go and still experience top of the line sound in a small size.

    Terrible Battery Life - Do not purchase

    Have owned for 2 months and the battery life is terrible I would not recommend! - I can charge the speaker to fully charged, turn off the speaker and after just two days being powered off it is at 80% and will completely drain over the next several days. I can not return to Best Buy because they only have a 10 day return window. Stay away from this product - it is over priced and has horrible battery life while using it speaker on the battery it drains super fast and will not last much over an hour. Make sure you watch your Best Buy return window for future reference.

    I am giving this speaker a 2 star rating because it arrived missing the charging cable in the box. It had the wall plug but it was missing the charging wire and I am having difficulty to get either BestBuy or Bose to send me a replacement wire.

    This is the owerst electronics purchase i have ever made. I love the brand but this product is riddled with issues. Battery life is horrible, i mean REALLY bad. The battery also loses charge when the speaker is turned off, so it needs to be connected to power source always. Antiher major issue is that it crashes like crazy, so it needs to be constantly reseted by pressing and keeping pressed the play/pause button. This is not normal. Stay away form this product. If i could give it a zero stars, I would.
