It has the famous Bose sound, though maybe not quite as good as the legendary SLIII. Convenient carry handle makes it perfect for beach or pool and you can talk to it using the Alexa function. I compared the Sonos One in the store and could tell immediately that the Bose was the better quality sound.

Most people who do not have a sensitive ear for music, will be very happy with the sound.

While the speaker can last up to 12 hours when playing and up to 24 hours in standby mode, the rechargeable battery will drain slightly when the speaker is not in use, especially if Alexa or Google Assistant is connected, since the speaker continues listening for voice commands in standby mode. To conserve battery life, if you’re done listening and don’t need voice assistant functionality, press and hold the Power button for two seconds to fully power off the speaker. Please note that the speaker will not appear in the Bose app when it is fully powered off.

Has a very nice sound but can definitely get better sound and base for a lot cheaper with other brands now days. But I got this as it hooks up to my home audio so can have the same music inside and out so I definitely love that!

I bought this speaker for my son’s service and I couldn’t get the voice prompt turned off. I followed the directions to turn it off, but not a chance. It works on my other Bose speaker, but not this one.

Give me a reason to shop for a new toy? Say less! I listened to this in store before purchasing it. Amazing! Totally worth the money!

Staff helpful when questions are asked and at times go over other items that may be compatible with the one you have in mind. When items are not available, most of the staff gives an idea when it will be available and yet try to see if some other item might be just as good or better.

A bit heavy to venture out too far but great for close to home or short distances. Thank you, Bose!
