While the speaker can last up to 12 hours when playing and up to 24 hours in standby mode, the rechargeable battery will drain slightly when the speaker is not in use, especially if Alexa or Google Assistant is connected, since the speaker continues listening for voice commands in standby mode. To conserve battery life, if you’re done listening and don’t need voice assistant functionality, press and hold the Power button for two seconds to fully power off the speaker. Please note that the speaker will not appear in the Bose app when it is fully powered off.

My major complaint is that, even though Alexa is built in and the speaker can be made part of a group for multi-room sound, It cannot be made part of a group with speakers other than Bose with Soundlink. You will need to replace ALL of your non-Bose speakers to make it work!

The voice is very clear and it has a excellent small size design easy to call with other items.I would buy it again if I needed one and could advice anyone to go for it.Unfortunately,they have only one color & wish they made some in different colours.

I got to researching and reading about this speaker after purchasing. It is quite a bit more costly than most BT speakers. It only offers partial resistance to water and environmental factors. It had many, many features that were simply unnecessary for my intents and purposes. Seems like a good speaker, but more costly and more technology packed in that I really wanted. Returned it for an UE Megaboom LE.
