It’s easy to love around but the sound left me feeling kinda flat. The eq was pretty minimal and at high volumes, became extremely distorted. I did perform a software up and found the same behavior pattern. For the price, the sound should be much clearer and less muddled.

There is a pretty big glitch for which I have not received a fix for from Bose. You cannot power the speaker off with the power button when not using the speaker. This causes the speaker to drain battery when not in use. If this could get fixed, I would give 5 stars.

Posted .I am so happy to hear you are enjoying the sound quality of your new speaker! Press and hold the power button for two seconds to turn the speaker off. The speaker plays a tone to indicate that it has turned off. Just so you know, to save battery power, the speaker automatically turns off after 20 minutes of inactivity when it is not plugged in, not connected to a Wi-Fi network and not playing audio.

This thing consistently fails to hold a charge, is a pain to charge when it does charge and 90% of the time when I go to use it it will not turn on. Even worse I was told that it would sink with other bows smart speakers like the flex link, and it does not. This particular product has soured me on the Bose line

Playback time may be as little as three hours if the speaker is used continuously at high a volume level while streaming audio over Wi-Fi. The distance from the Wi-Fi access point also affects the speaker's battery life. To increase the playback time, reduce the volume level and/or reduce the distance from the Wi-Fi access point.
