I read what it can do so i put it to the test and it failed only on one thing the time it claimed it can last and it only worked for 3 hr before it needed to be changed smh very disappointed with a brand as expensive as this one .

The Portable smart speaker, while looking a little similar to the SoundLink Revolve which you're likely referring to is not part of the same family. None of the speakers in the smart speaker family lineup features speakerphone options found in our portable "SoundLink" lineup as they fulfill a different purpose. If you're interested in that feature, I can certainly recommend trying something like the SoundLink Revolve Plus II which is the current generation product.

Love it so much I bought second one for my father. Then purchased this model and was the worst mistake. Battery kept dying while being charged. I did purchase the protection plan but it was not fair to use. I sent for repair and took 3 weeks to comeback. It worked for like a month the. The same issue. Kept dying while charging. Total time of having speaker was for 14 months. I finally used my protection plan and my intention was to get it replaced. Well best buy gave me back the money I had payed for speaker which was $432. Store credit. I bought the BOSE SOUNDLINK REVOLVE+ II again for $229. I still had almost $200 left. Couldn’t be happier. Maybe I just had a defective speaker but that’s why it was sent for repair. Also forgot to mention I could never get the app to work with the speaker.

The Portable Smart Speaker's battery is designed to supply up to 12 hours of charge during active use, or up to 24 hours if the speaker is in standby mode. Please note the speaker will turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity if it's disconnected from a Wi-Fi network and a power connection. If that's not the cause of the speaker cutting out, then I would suggest trying a reset of your speaker.
