The Bose noise cancelling ear buds live up to all the positive personal and technical reviews. Mine were bought for me as a gift that was intended to make air travel more pleasurable. Bingo. They do a great job. The only knock is their typical Bose stratospheric price, but mine were bought on Bose first ever sale of this item that I know of. I imagine that they may be retooling their product line in light of the removal of a headphone jack from the newest iPhone and probable future trend.

I bought the noise cancelling for plane rides and read that it wasn't recommended to use cell phone airplane adapters because the possibility of overheating. Called customer service and they sent me the Bose one for free. Great service! Also use it for phone calls and it works great for that too. Much more portable than the big over the ears one my husband has.

I bought these for my wife for when she uses her treadmill, and she absolutely loves them. She says she doesn't hear the annoying noise of the treadmill at all anymore. Super lightweight and comfortable, she will get a LOT of use out of these.

These made traveling across country a delight. It blocked out all the unwanted noise and the movie I was watching had great sound.

Best set of noise cancelling headphones I have experienced. Noise cancelling worked well on flights and trains. I have used JVC, Sony, and audioTechnica. The noise cancelling does create a vacuum type mental sensation without any audio input. I felt like my brain was going to ooze out of my ears sometimes. With music or any audio source, the vacuum feeling went away. But the earbud on my left ear just wouldn't fit well. The right side was fine. The left began to ache 3hrs into second use. About 14hrs total use and still trouble with fit. Maybe my left ear is wonky, but I couldn't continue to use these headphones due to the fitment issue. The Bose are definitely the best noise cancelling headphones for travel. But I couldn't get the qc20s to fit well. Maybe I'm between earbud sizes. I will certainly buy over ear Bose headphones if I need noise cancelling in the future.

If you are a frequent flier, but don't want to wear over the ear headphones, these are great. The noise canceling is fantastic on the noisiest of planes and I love the portability. Battery lasted well beyond the flight from Chicago to Hong Kong. Won't ever fly without them again.

I opted for the corded because the cordless have that goofy thing that rests on your neck. Sounds awesome.

Love my headphones! It came with three different size earbuds which worked great since the medium ones that come attached was too big for my ears. Switched to the smaller ones and it fit nice and snug. I reccommend this to everyone. This is a bit expensive for earphones but if you got some change or buying yourself a gift, this is worth it.

The noise cancellation works nicely with these headphones. The fit is decent and comfortable. I wear these while working out and have not encountered any problems. It makes it much more enjoyable at the gym when I can block out the annoying music and such from the cardio classes while I am on the bike.

Work as advertised and eliminates noise but also lets me switch to Aware to hear when someone is talking.

The sound is incredibly good! I like that my phone will still ring while I am listening to music and I can answer if I want.

Noisy roommates make it hard to study. These work great to block out their noise and listen to great music while studying.

Great sound with the performance of the large around the ear headphones. The noise cancelling is impressive as well.

I have several Bose products including a Bose earpiece (that I love). I primarily bought the noise cancelling Bose ear bugs for airline travel. It was perfect for cancelling surrounding noise while listening to music at a low volume. As with my older Bose earpiece, the noise cancelling ear bug is extremely comfortable.

Good fitting and comfortable to wear. Expensive so I hope they wear for a long time. Brand has good reputation
