Excellent product with all the bells and whistles that come with the name Bose.

Bose still makes the best noise cancellation heads available on the market. Whether it is over the ears, cover the ears, or this in-ear version. [Disclaimer 1: As with all headsets, go to your nearest BestBuy and try them on. It is better than reading hundreds of reviews like this one.] [Disclaimer 2: This review is based on the noise-cancellation aspect of the headset. Sound quality is a personal preference, and what works for me might not work for someone else, so I will not mention it.] I travel extensively internationally, and Bose has never disappointed me. I had the QC-15 for quite a while and love it. QC-15 blocks out noises better than QC-20 because QC-15 covers around the ears, but it is hard to sleep in QC-15 because of its shape. The in-ear design of this QC-20 solves the problem, and I sleeps very well every time I fly. I've experimented with Beats Executive, but found the hissing sound too pronounced to ignore. It is comfortable, but since it "cancels" new noises by creating a new noise, it just isn't for me. QC-20 cancels out noises almost completely if you're able to find the correct fit of ear-tips. Bose gives you three pairs in the box, large medium and small, and you should be able to find one that fits you. Sometimes I drive in these. My commute time on a noisy southern California freeway is about 2 hours a day and it works very well when driving, but sometimes maybe too well. I recently decided not to use it any more while driving for safety reason. The only downside of the QC-20 is that the control module could weight on the cords, pulling down on the ear tips. When the ear-tips are fitted snugly in your ears, it could cause some discomfort if you have to wear it for an extended period of time.

Best corded Headphones!!! Great noise-cancelling feature. Could be less money for sure. Bose should be ashamed of pricing these so expensively! Still great buy

LOVE LOVE LOVE these. Use them all the time. Work brilliantly on planes to block out screaming children. Just have to make sure that they are charged up and then you are good to go!

Let me begin this by stating that I am a somewhat frequent traveler and regularly fly over 100k miles annually. My review is based solely on my travel experience with this set of earbuds. I decided to go with this model after having an issue with a set of Pulk UltraFocus earbuds that were about 3 years old and have been around the world with me more times than I can recall. Those used a single AAA battery and I would regularly get about 50 hours of continuous usage out of a single battery with those. As soon as I get home with these, I put them on charge for at least 12 hours. As soon as I got on my plane to Tokyo, these went on; they died 8 hours into that flight. Much to my dismay, I had to plug into my machine to charge; this was not what I was expecting from a well known brand that consistently pushes out high quality products. When I got to my hotel, these went on charge. Same story on the way back, except that these were on the charger for closer to two days, the duration of my trip. Needless to say, for as long as these were charging, I'd expect a heck of a lot more life out of the battery. The only other complaint I had with these was the little pigtail of a cord that plugs into your device. Come on, Bose, you could have done a lot better with these.

Heard about noise canceling, and they were right. I was on a flight, and the sound of the plane totally went away. My wife was sitting next to me, and I could only ready her lips. The comfort was excellent, no irritation after a couple hours. The carrying case is a little small for the cord to fold well. Wish the bass was deeper, but the sound was well balanced and pleasing.

I've now used them for a few days in an open office environment & long-haul flights (8+hours). Very comfortable for extended use. Battery lasts a full flight or can be charged while using off laptop or USB plug.

Bought them for air travel because of their noise canceling feature and small package size. Have been very impressed with the sound and active noise canceling feature. Battery lasts very long.

I have looked at Bose headphones for a long time. I liked these new ones because they are "in ear" headphones. They stay on your ears and come with different size ear buds. When I remove the ear buds I cannot believe how much noise they block.

Once again Bose has delivered a quality product with GREAT sound.

These headphones do not disappoint. I fly a lot and having these headphones make all the difference in background noise and being able to enjoy music or a movie on the plane. I highly recommend them to those who fly.

I spend a lot of my time on planes and have used the large Bose noise cancelling headphones in the past. On my first flight after purchasing the ear buds, I slept comfortably without the pain on my ears I normally have from the large headphones. Yes the sound quality might not be the best and the price is high, but for me both were worth it to avoid hearing people snoring or coughing for an eleven hour flight.

I've been using these for the past couple of months now regularly. These have got to be the BEST HEADPHONES I've owned. Excellent Quality, great comfort and above all the noise cancellation is a cherry on top.

Exceeded my expectations. Find the negative reviews to be way off base. Noise cancellation is excellent, buttons intuitive and easy to use. Sound quality is top notch!

I really love the noise canceling system with these headphones

Bought these noise cancelling headphones for my husband for a recent trip overseas. They were to replace a cheaper pair he has had for years that only cancel out some of the plane noise. He was so impressed with the superior sound quality these headphones provided. He was able to listen to his phone and watch movies on the plane video system without having to turn up the volume. He said he could really tell the difference when he turned them off and heard just how much noise there was on the plane. They are a bit on the pricey side, but the quality of noise-cancelling is excellent, so you do get what you pay for.
