Well, not quite noise cancelling...............I bought it to play music while I was on my riding lawn mower................and I can still hear the riding lawn mower..................albeit immensely reduced..........but I can still hear it. That being said, I can hear the music just fine when I'm riding on my lawn mower............but when I take off the ear plugs, boy can you hear the lawn mower......................

I hesitated because of the price, but I'm glad I got these. I've had other noise cancelling head phones over the years but these are the best at active noise cancellation. I used them last week on a plane trip and it was honestly a little spooky not hearing the engine noise!

I can't use the over the ear noise-cancelling headphones because they make me feel too hot. So I decided to try these and I was pleasantly surprised. The only issue I ran into is that I have a daith piercing in one ear which makes it a little more difficult to achieve the proper fit. Also, regardless of what size I use (3 different ones are provided), my left ear ends up sore after a few hours of use.

Purchased for my wife to use on work conference calls while at home. She loves them. Crazy how effective the noise canceling works!

I work in a very noisy environment, and these guys have really helped me to concentrate. The only problem I have right now is trying to figure out which size of the buds fit my ears best. The are pretty expensive, but for me worth it. Can't wait to try them on a plane.

I didn't realize how much background noise this blocks, until I used it on my Playstation. I was able to hear so much more detail. Also helps while on the road, while trying to sleep at hotels in noisy cities.

Sound quality is great. Wish it could get a little louder. Battery pack is heavy.

We love our Bose QuietComfort 20 headphones! My wife and I both have a pair, and they are perfect for traveling. Nice traveling case makes them perfect for the airplane. And the noise cancelling works great!

These are just what I needed. I suffer from tinnitus in my left ear and needed something to cancel those sounds that trigger it. These work great and also let me hear voices and music. I highly recommend them.

I love Bose products, the sound quality is something I have preferred over other brands. These don’t disappoint, in fact these are by far the best sound quality in headphones in a long time. Thank you!!

Although they cost more the sound and noise cancelling technology are outstanding. Used them on a recent trip to San Diego and they removed all the jet noise and other noise. Would recommend them to anyone that is looking for great sound canceling technology

As always, Bose makes an outstanding product! With noise issues, these headphones are comfortable and perform. I like that all pieces are still offered attached (and less likely to loose).

I'd say I'm a bit of a tech freak and am constantly purchasing ear buds as technology improves and strive to always have the best. The sound from this product is amazing paired with my LG V20's Hi-Fi Quad HD sound. By for the best I've ever purchased.

I purchased the Bose Quietcomfort 20 headphones for use on an international flight of more than 11 hours. Other than a slight discomfort from the earbuds being in my ears for so long, the sound reduction performance was amazing. I own other pairs of sound deadening earbuds, but these outperform all others. Con - price, but if you are frequently in the air it is worth the price.

I bought this earphones for my husband for when he works out or when he has to fly for his work trips. He loves it because it blocks out the noise thats surrounds him. I also tried these earphones myself and love them also.

I bought this instead of other noise canceling headphones because I sometimes wear glasses and also don't want to wear the bulky headphones for a long time while working. Noise canceling works very well I tried in my office as well as while traveling.

Summer has come. I live in apartment and noise of airconditioner of the whole building is very loud. When wearing QC20, I literally do not hear those airconditioner noise at all. Great Product.

These work incredibly well. I have a set of the over ear Bose noise cancelling headphones but they are a bit big to you're on a trip. I was afraid the wouldn't work as well, but they are every bit as good and take up a tenth of the space.

Although charging the earphones is a bit of hassle, the earphones work great, with or without noise cancellation. During my air or train travel, the noise cancellation really helps me with my motion sickness or any headache problems. :)
