Bose headphones are great, no doubt. However, I bought these for my son for Christmas and when he opened them and tried using them with his iPhone, something was off. After careful discovery (because it's not evident on the box), we found that these headphones were for "Android" devices. How dumb is that??? Best Buy, as always, was awesome about replacing them with the OS version, but it's just stupid that we had to go through that at all.

These are great noise cancelling headphones. I bought these for traveling since the footprint is 1/4 the size of my bose over the ear headphones. You won't be disappointed.

One of the great things about Bose headphones is that you have clarity along with noise cancelation. Now as far as I understand everyone hears sound differently but the noise cancelation should be the same across the board. Definitely worth the price if you are investing in a good pair of headphones!

These are more comfortable to wear than most in-ear headphones I have tried. The noise reduction is good without being spectacular.

These are the best choice for isolating yourself from the usual noises while traveling on an airplane. And very comfortable for those long flights.

Battery life very good. Airplane noise cancellation excellent. The soft ear piece created a sore spot in my ear during a 12 hour flight. A little pricey but a great option to full headsets.

This is the most durable and comfortable earphones with great sound quality. Using this for years and still running as expected.

Moved from the Bose over the ear to the in ear set and have such an easier time sleeping on the plane with them in. Only draw back is the battery life of just 16 hours. On a long flight from the West Coast to Europe with a layover somewhere in between you are almost sure to kill the battery. They do work in Passive mode without a the battery, unlike the over the ear model I had before.

May not be right for you if you have small ears, but regular sized or large ears work great! I'm a musician, and these have great quality sound, enhanced bass, good active noise cancelling features. The cord near the plug has an awkward "electronics hub" that can get in the way of some activities, so check that out first before buying. Other than that I've been very pleased with the sound and drowning out exterior unwanted environmental noise around me. The charge via USB also lasts a good amount of time depending on how much you use them.

Great active and passive noise cancelling. Long lasting battery. Only wish it was updated to charge via USB C (uses micro USB)

I noticed that I purchased the wrong edition (so returned and repurchased one for iOS). They are just about identical otherwise, functionally about the same but the iOS version will have features that allows you to control your headset from the phone.

Love my noise cancelling ear buds. They are so comfy and when you turn on the noise cancel feature...omg...heaven! Block out all the kids!

These are great for air travel where you want to pack something lighter and a lot smaller than regular headphones. Holds charge for many hours and charges with a regular mini-USB like for cell phones, so you also don't pack or carry an extra charger or batteries. 3 sizes of earpieces helps with getting a good seal for noise reduction - definitely try all 3 sizes as it makes a huge difference in blocking out noise.
