I have Bose QC15 and QC25 which are great over-the-ear noise cancelling heaphones. If you want in-ear headphones, these are the best for noise cancelling.

I use them on my motorcycle. They really suppress the motorcycle noise, producing an almost eerie silence. At high speeds sometimes there is a popping noise in the background. But I would definitely buy them again.

Cannot deny the beauty of it when on noise cancellation mode but could use a little more enhancement when noise cancellation mode is off. It sounds like a regular bose earphones when not in noise cancellation mode. Overall, good and worth having it.

The sound is more than acceptable. The noise cancelling makes it so I don't have to turn up the music too much. That been said they aren't much better than my last Sony earbuds that cost 1/4 the price.
