I preferred in-ear headphones because of the size and ease of carrying. I used them on a recent trip and I was happy with the noise cancelling function. I'm not sure that the function that allows you to turn the noise cancelling 1/2 off worked. It seems like it just turns it completely off, but other than that it seems to work well. I'm not sure I would have bought them if I paid full price for them, but if they are on sale or you have credits, it is definitely worth looking at.

no good for droid turbo

The Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Earbud Headphones will pass great audio regardless of what device you're using. However, the Android variant of these headphones was designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy family of devices. There may be limited functionality with other devices but Bose cannot fully support those devices.
