I bought this to use while traveling. I'm Rey satisfied with these headphones! The do a great job of blocking out most noise and allow me to listen to music/movies at a much lower volume. The battery lasts a very long time roughly 18 hours). Even without the battery you can still listen but the noise reduction feature won't work.

TOTAL NOISE CANCELLATION *apart from high pitch sounds* & great build quality. This was well worth the price.

So far so good. Yeah, they're more expensive than the average, but having purchased Dre's before, I'll take Bose. They're lighter and sound better.

These were pricey but well worth the money. They work just as advertised. I tried them at bose and were sold and bought them at best buy since i had rebates. I use them for school, work, and on the plane. They work so well, when the wireless version came out i got those too. They are not at perfected as these wired ones but still very good. Try them in the store and you'll be sold on it too. No gimmicks.

These were a xmas present for my husband, specifically to wear when he travels by airplane. He came back from his first trip and couldn't say enough good things about them.

Bose have always been top in speakers and this headset is no different. You could use these things as simple ear defenders they cut out that much sound. The noise cancellation is simply perfect and you can hear nothing around you except the sounds you want to hear. Out standing purchase 300 Simoleons was well worth it.

Got these to deal with a persistent HVAC hum in my new office... total lifesavers! Also great on airplanes, of course. I'm a musician (sound sensitive with a short attention span), and background noise is a killer for my concentration - these make such a difference for me. Great sound quality on their own, too.

This purchase was great. Very expensive, but these headphones do exactly what I want. I pretty much only use them at the gym. Perfect.

bought these as i go on a lot of trips, the only issue i had with them is that it caused my ears to pop even more than normal with the noise cancellation tech they use

I purchased these headphones for both my own personal listening and to help with my work where I am often listening to low quality audio. The noise canceling setting allows me to pick up the smallest detail without worrying about outside influence. The only con I have found with these headphones is that I am extremely sensitive to pressure changes and when using the noise cancellation I can only go about an hour and a half without taking a small break to balance the pressure in my head.

I love these. My train 2 hour train commute each morning has become a time for extra sleep. They dull roar of the train and other riders is gone, but I can still hear when the conductor or fellow riders address me. I hadn't even realized how noisy the daily ride was until the first time I turned these on.

Expensive, but extremely good headphone, perfect for long haul flights!
