These headphones are a must have for the frequent flyer! The sound quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Bose, and they are both light and compact! They are just what you need to cancel out that annoying person that insists on sharing their traveling experience despite your obvious disinterest! Good investment!

The Bose - QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones are fantastic and offer great sound quality and noise cancelling. I purchased the headphones before a trip and they were so comfortable to wear on the flight and they really helped to block out the sounds during the flight. Very comfortable, and great sound quality.

We bought these as a gift for our grandson. He was very pleased with the headphones. He let me try them and I was impressed with the sound and fit on the ears. I travel for work and tend to use in ear monitors on airplanes but I would seriously consider picking up a pair of the Bose QC25s for myself after trying these out.

Used primarily for conference calls, the noise canceling feature works as advertised, and I can enjoy work related phone calls without distractions. Good audio quality while listening to music or videos. I prefer the wired headphones because I'm tired of all the wireless ones that will allow all these extra radio waves to surround me. Comes with a large case and headphone adapter to use on airplanes. Consumer reports reviewed Bose as a good quality headphone, and I agree. It was worrying to see all the refurbished ones of the other major brand I was considering, so I hope these will last--alas, these only have a one year warranty, but I expect them to work for the long haul.

Bought these for my son who has autism and has trouble with the noises around him in school and he his finding these are great help. Plus being a teenager he loves listing to his music which sounds incredible with these. These were expensive but worth the price for helping him. The battery life is great too!

We decided to purchase this because we were about to go on a long plane ride to Europe. While some noise will l naturally be heard they were amazing at drowning out a majority of the engine noise and even a crying baby. Only thing I wish is that I could get them with bluetooth so that I can cut the darn wire.

If you want the best noise canceling headphones, buy these. If you want a stylish pair of headphones, buy these. If you want the best sounding headphones that are also noise canceling, buy these. Excellent quality and workmanship. Just buy these.

Bought these after wanting a set for years. I have the sport earphones but these are so much better. Just got back from a trip to the 8hr trip to EU and wore them the whole time. Had Sony ones and JVC's. These are the way better. Light and more importantly don't make my ears sweat. Save up and get yourself a set!!

Bought the headphones for the noise canceling feature. They cancelled all flight noises but allowed some voices to come through which worked very well. The flight attendant was able to get my attention. The AAA battery provided power for 4 flights and hasn’t needed to be changed.

I replaced my original Quiet Comfort headphones with this #25 Bose Noise Cancelling headphones. Great sound quality with a much better noise cancelling feature. Also very comfortable and I like the ability to use it without drawing on the battery when I don't need noise control.

Bose knows great sound. In my opinion they are the best audio company out there. I have never had a bad product from them. I remember when these (wired) headphones came out. They were outside of my price range. With all the wireless options these have come way down in price and are AMAZING. The separately powered noise cancelling option is amazing and really lets you hear every sound perfectly. Comes with an adapter the fits perfectly in the hard case for those airlines that still utilize two prong input. A AAA battery (included) is slotted into the headphones to power the noise canceling option, and it is amazing. The headphones still work great even if you do not have the noise canceling powered on. Cord is removable just in case you need to replace the cord without having to buy a whole new set of headphones. Great case. The best set of headphones I have ever owned. If you are ok with wired headphones you can't go wrong with the price.

Bought these for my wife for work so she could concentrate on what she was doing. She love's the feel and how light and comfortable they are and best of all how good the cancel the noise in her work area. She wanted the in ear ones but with no replacement for the battery once it died. Made the decision easy.

They sound great and are very comfy. The noise cancellation is noticeable but not very significant. High quality product, if you're willing to pay $300 for headphones you can't go wrong with these

This latest version truly does provide the best sound I've heard from a set of Bose Noise Cancelling headphones and is also the most comfortable pair I've worn. I've had 2 other previous versions as well and they just keep getting better.

Pro: the noise canceling is really good. Put on that, you can feel being isolated to another world. With one AAA battery, it will work for around 20 hours. But the headphone can also work without the battery. Con: Pricy. Really pricy, It will cost around 320 including tax. But the investment is worthy.

These headphones do exactly what they were designed to do, cancel noise. At max volume a jackhammer could be firing off next to you and you probably wouldn't hear it. Crying babies on the airplane? Forget about it, no longer a problem! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I wish they were louder. The volume is good, but not great. I will note that allowing the volume to go even higher could potentially cause hearing loss/inner ear damage. But who cares?! ROCK ONNNN!!

The headset is great. I put them on and tune out the world noise. I ride BART every day and the noise of screeching brakes and wheels was hard on my ears. The headset took care of the problem. I wasn't sure if I would like the cord but not a problem. They are also very comfortable to wear

Very comfortable fit. Sound quality is amazing. I purchased this for the noise canceling quality. The main reason is I fly a lot and it works Great! My flight are really quite. Even if you don't watch a movie, video or listen to music you can put them on to cut out the noise. Highly recommended.

I work for a television station and do a lot of editing in a room with several people. A lot of people forget their headphones and just use the speakers, which when you are trying to be precise.. It sucks. Not to mention just gets old really quick. These things make it feel like I am happily alone working on my project. The noise canceling becomes comforting that sometimes I wear them when I am not even playing the sound. Don't expect them to completely cut the sound, but I can promise you they do it to the point that makes it comfortable and and isn't deafening silence. Besides work, these are the perfect thing when my boyfriend wants to play video games and I want to watch tv on my iPad, can't even hear what he is doing and can enjoy a show and relax. If you are like how I was and sitting, pondering for three hours trying to decide if it is worth double the price of their other headphones, I'm telling you right now the answer is YES! Stop wasting time that you could be listening to them with

I have purchased other brands of noise canceling headphones that really didn't work that well. These actually work and are comfortable ... I wear them on long flights to China or Europe.
