If you need a pair of noise cancelling headphones, these do the job quite well. I really use mine more to hear clearly rather than to listen to music, but these headphones do well for both.

I bought these for when I fly and I want to tune out all the noise. They work great with fantastic sound from music and movies and I don't hear a thing from the people around me.

The Bose headphones are very good quality and the noise cancellation feature is wonderful. I use these for studying and they work great even in loud areas.

The wife uses them while using her Mac Book Pro and I am watching TV. She does not hear anything outside of the headphones. Not even when I walk into the room she is in and start talking.

I know a lot of people complain about Bose acoustics, but for the average traveller these are really really nice and comfortable. I have the small earbuds QC20 as well and while they are compact and easy to travel with , they are only comfortable for about an hour or so. These I can wear for hours on end. Thanks bose.

I bought these for an upcoming business trip and they are amazing!! Superb sound cancelling technology and great sound. I'm very pleased with these and look forward to my next plane trip!

Really good headphones that do wonders to cancel out noise both actively and passively. I'm a student living in noisy dorms so these are lifesaving.

I'm not sure how I traveled without these. Flying is a completely different experience. The noise canceling really works. I also use them during particularly loud days at work.

I had been contemplating Bose for a long time. The sound is amazing, clear, and wonderful quality. I used them for my Maui trip. Blocked outside sound out very well for the long flight.

These were awesome for international flight! Didn't hear the engine and could barely hear people a few isles over. Made the trip so much better. Will use for every flight from now on.

These headphones provide excellent noise cancellation. They cut out 98% of all outside noise. For music, they are just very good, but not excellent, even with the noise circuit on. On my iPhone, I personally found that the sound quality improved quite a bit using the “rock” eq setting.

Don't get me wrong, they headphones are amazing! The only issue is the price. I don't believe that they are worth $300
