Replacement not caused by degradation of sound, the ear pads just begin to wear out which means the noise cancellation doesn't work as well and start to get black pieces coming off onto your ears. I prefer these over wireless because I always forget to charge things. So I would prefer my headphones to work 100% of the time. Can't live without these.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Bose® - QuietComfort® 25 headphone assuming it's the best out there as far as quality and sound, I was surely wrong as soon as I put them on! 1st the material felt cheap, the included cable are very cheap, thin and flimsy (like china standard not USA) and are proprietary, can't just use any cable out there regardless, the hole are way to deep to plug in anything! 2nd the sound quality are muffled very muffled when battery are not used. They are even worse than the Beat Studio head phone which I had very little use and the ears pad started to peel after 1.5 years, never going to buy Beat head phone ever in my life! Returned the Bose set ordered SONY MDR1A/B, see my review there.
