I've been meaning to buy a pair and finally saw them on sale! Best headphones for airplane travel.

I purchased a couple of lower end models and these are Day and night. Very expensive but worth it.

These headphones are much better than beat headphones there are better quality and sound a lot better thumbs up

These are amazing for a listener, especially when dealing with a constant background noise such as a plane. The noise canceling doesn't work for variable noises such as noisy parties because the canceling waves cannot be generated quickly enough. That's not a big deal because volume is great with these and there doesn't seem to be a lot of what I call "noise slippage" where you lose volume due to outside influences. The volume is there and is good. The major minus for these headphones for me is the amount of noise that can be heard outside the headphones. I actually have to wear these to watch movies on my iphone when my wife is using hers to watch them on her ipad - the noise is so loud from her set that I can't hear over it.

Does what its supposed to do and does it better than others. Excellent noise cancelling. Perfect for flights.

These are great headphones. They block out the noise without feeling like you are in a seashell.

These were suggested to by a colleague of mine that travels a lot and the noise cancelling feature is what sold me. For air travel they are a must. I only wish the wireless were available when I bought mine.

Shuts out all the nuisance of traveling ie baby crying, engine noise, and talkative neighbors.

I would recommend this item to anyone wanting to listen to music and block out all outside noise

I used it for long travel to Asia. It dramatically reduced the noise and you felt very comfortable with/without playing music. When I sleep, I turned off music and still put the power on to reduce noise. Once you put on, you don't want to take it off since the noise become so loud that you are not used to. When power is off, though you still can play music, the quality is very poor. So it is "Bose" only when power is on.

I couldn’t be happier. Wore next to the engine on the last flight and it was barely noticeable.
