I splurged on these headphones for a long plane ride to Europe. I was glad I did! While they did not block out all sound, they did an impressive job in eliminating most allowing me a much more pleasant trip. They are very comfortable and I easily dozed off with them on.

I love these headphone they are super comfy and nice and light and not bulky on my ear.

I've had several sets of noise cancelling headphones including Sony, Panasonic and Bose. Traveling frequently, I look for a compact style that cancels the airplane noises and provides great noise reduction. The Bose Quiet 25 has become my favorite. The packaging is small and light. The audio quality is excellent with very realistic sound reproduction. What I really like about these headsets is that I can answer the phone and control the phone using the buttons on the microphone, very convenient.

3d pair of bose headphones, and of course no dissapointment. Bose always has a good product if you are willing to bite the cost. These actually do block outside noises. They fit nice, sound great, and come with a nice carry case.

Don't let the fact that it requires batteries to power fool you, it's for a good reason. Honestly I am very satisfied with my purchase. I love good quality audio and have a pair of SOL REPUBLIC HD tracks for normal usage and also for DJ'ing, but I also love the Bose QC25s for their superb quality. I should have bought a black one since I'm a little concerned about getting the band dirty but otherwise really satisfied with the quality of this headphone!

I have had these headphones for about a week now, and I am impressed! The first day I got these I found myself listening to about 50 different songs of all genres; just trying to find a flaw in the sound quality but could not find one. The sound quality is excellent as well as the comfort. I am not really an "over the ear" headphone type of guy - as I think it looks ridiculous walking down the street (Sorry but I do)....However after recently doing some airplane travel I have wanted to get a set and these have left me seeing why people wear them around town! I like the fact they have a built-in microphone for actual phone use and volume controls conveniently located on them as well. The noise cancelling is very good and is almost too good unless you truly want to "escape" in to your music! The only down side I have with these is the "fabric" they placed on the top... probably comfort related or something, but I just see it as a part that will get dirty and be hard to clean...as opposed to just wiping it down like the rest of the headphones if it was plastic. Never the less it is a small issue to get past for such a great headphone!

Bought these at the Bose Store. These are my first noise cancelling headphones and I travel extensively. Used these for the first time last week for 5 hour flight and the experience was very good. Noise cancelling works really well. I watched 2 movies on my iPad mini and the sound quality was excellent. I have bought the white color and it looks awesome too!

I have both Beats and the Bose QC25 headphones and they both have good and bad points. The Beats are heavy but have a little better sound quality but the Bose are lightweight and have a microphone for calls. I would rate them both good but if I had to choose between them I would choose the Bose QC25 because of the extra feature of the microphone.

I have waited a couple of months until there were adequate reviews coming out for this product, as I originally headed for QC 15, the older version for this one. I like the acoustic performance of this headphone, and also the outfit - white frame and golden ear cushions with blue cable. The only problem for me is the fabric outfit on the top of the headphone, especially for the white one, which I am afraid to get it dirty down the road and never able to clean it.

Like to say first of all I've delt with Bose products from earbuds to home entertainment to the stereo system in my car and I'm happy with them. But this earphone set was quite the let down for me and no its not ca use of the price. I am an avid music listener who travels 90% of the year. I was looking for a well versatile set to use for pleasure and work. With noise cancellation on the music was crisp and vivid but as soon as you turn it off and use it on passive mode the music was drab and hollow. It sounded like you stuck two tubes against your ear to listen to the music on passive. Another thing is that if you use rechargeable batteries with this unit it cuts the time down from 36 hrs of play to 25 hours. Doesn't seem much but when you try to use reusable then disposable it makes a difference. Don't get me wrong it's a nice set on noise cancellation mode but I don't want to spend my time in that mode nor have to worry about caring other batteries for play time. Sadly BIG let down that I'll be returning.

These are excellent headphones, but are not completely noise cancelling. They are light and very comfortable. The sound output is great. It's a nice feature to have the option to still be able to use the headphones even when the AAA battery required for noise cancelling dies.

I am a headphone junkie and I own more than I want to admit. My favorite pair of over the ear headphones are the Audio Technica ATH-M50. To my ears the ATH-M50 has a better sound stage and sounds more transparent than these headphones. The Bose sounds like the bass and treble is over boosted. It's not bad, just different. These headphones are very comfortable for me. Sound quality when used with a phone or Skype is excellent. But it's a little strange because of the noise cancellation and isolation you can barely hear your voice. The noise cancellation is pretty good, but it's not perfect. I can easily hear the drone of a dehumidifier a few feet away. I haven't tried them on a plane yet. The detachable cord is nice and should help prevent a broken connector if it should get caught on something.

Great headphones, light, comfortable and excellent battery life. Also, the noise cancelling function is great for airplane travel.
