    Right Side Stopped Working... Twice

    I'm on my second pair of these headphones in three months. The right side keeps randomly not working. To pay three hundred dollars for a product that does not even last for one year is completely absurd. Both pairs have come from Best Buy. I called Bose after the first set stopped working. The person I spoke to over the phone said that this was not a common complaint and that "even the military uses these headphones". That does not change the fact that these headphones are quite possibly the worst purchase I've ever made. If they worked well, I would love these headphones, unfortunately that is not the case. My experience with the QC 25 headphones has been disappointing and very frustrating. I loved my QC 15 headphones, sadly it seems as though quality control and durability were not high on the priority list with the QC 25. I plan on returning my headphones and advise others not to purchase them. You can get much better headphones for a cheaper price.

    I must have returned and repurchase this product 5 times already and I think I have given up on it. When the non-cancelling running on the battery works, it's fantastic BUT after a day or two when using the noise cancelling running on the battery the sound and noise cancelling goes in and out. I know I don't have to run noise cancelling using the battery but the sound quality is so much better and it's must quieter.

      Thank you for choosing the QC25 headset. With the noise cancellation feature enabled you are also getting the benefit of an active EQ, so your music does sound better and most distractions are eliminated. You might consider using a Rechargeable NiMH - Low self discharge battery so that you can always enjoy the headphones with the noise cancellation working. Bose

    One speaker went squeaky after less than 8 months

    I bought this one last Jan/2015 and I've been using it very little since I'm not travelling as much this year. It worked well, then suddenly no sound was coming out of the right cuff and sometimes when I move it gives some squeaky sound. I've checked on Bose site and they do not replace products bought from other retailers. I love Bose QC phones and my previous QC 3 (which I have also bought from Best Buy) I used them for more than 2 years with no problems at all and I have only replaced them because they were stolen.

    Disappointed - Poor sound without Noise Cancelling

    I made the mistake of buying these headphones based on the excellent reputation of Bose. One of the best buy sales associates warned me that for $300 I was really just paying for the name. I think she was right. They were very comfortable which was a big plus since I had plan to where them almost all day every day at work. The noise cancelling was also pretty good at eliminating the lawn crews outside and the sound quality was decent. However, when I wanted to listen without the noise cancelling, the sound was like listening through a tin can. For a $300 dollar pair of headphones, it should have performed better without noise cancelling. I own a pair of Sony NC headphones that are older only cost $200 and sound better. I returned the QC25 and bought the Sony MDR-10R ($108) instead. Those had MUCH better sound and seemed to have more solid construction than the QC25. They are not noise canceling headphones, I barely hear anything with them on.

    It is a quality product. Really comfortable on ears and head, because of the padding. The only thing I don't like about these headphones, is they could have a higher level of sound. Especially when you are spending $300 on these. However they are better then the headphones that come with iPhones.

    It pains me to say these headphones were a major disappointment. I read the reviews but didn't believe that Bose would put their name on a product that didn't live up to the billing, but I was wrong. The noise canceling is nowhere near adequate for anything past a room with a low mummer. There is no way they would work on a 737 at 30k feet (the sole reason I purchased them). The sound volume would not get loud enough either on any devise I tried, both Apple and Android. I took them back after discussing with Bose customer support with no resolution past return them to Best Buy. I traded them for the Beats Studio wireless which are far far superior!

    Dead On Arrival

    Purchased Bose QC 25 today with high expectations. Got home, unpacked everything. Inserted battery and ready to test. Connected cord to my computer and other end to headset. Music came only from left side. Jiggling the cord at the headset revealed weak connection that caused right side sound to go on/off. Bose presents itself as high end company, yet I've seen a lot of online customer reviews of DOA's. Now I have to go back to the store for a replacement. If second set fails, I will demand refund.

    sound is gone at right ear cuff

    bought this one last april 7,2015. i've been using it everytime i go to gym. it worked well, then. sound was good. then yesterday, the sound felt different suddenly. no sound was coming out of the right cuff. when i moved it slighlty, it gives squeaky sound. i thought its just the battery. so i changed the battery, but still have some squeaky sound to no sound at all on the right cuff. planning to go to best buy today for them to check on it and see what kind of customer service advise i can get
