These headsets are great. Got them for $179.00 and took a plane trip a week later. Screaming babies and loud engines would have made the 5 hour flight unbearable. Watched a movie on my laptop with these and all the noise went away. At one point I thought the planes engines had stopped!! Had a friend listen to them and he is waiting for them to go on sale again so he can buy them. Great product. And I can use it as a mic for my business calls and everyone hears me clearly.

can't think about a long flight without them. light, excellent voice quality, superb noise cancellation. they only blew it with the packaging. almost impossible to fold it back as it was originally into the small box.

These headphones are not only the most comfortable I have ever had the sound of music is great. The noise cancel is really good too.

I'm using these headphones to cancel out the live band while recording the performance, allowing me to hear the direct feed and adjust individual levels. I did have to get the regular headphone cable to make the noise cancelling work the best for what I'm doing. I tried using the existing cable that came with the headphones but it wouldn't cancell out the room noise. I called Bose directly and they sent me a cable "without the volume control". NO CHARGE. I'm so glad I called. They work suburbly! Thanks

This is my first Bose product. Very comfortable on your ears and active noise cancelling is superb. It does what it is promising.

I have been very happy with these headsphones and would recommend them for anyone looking for a comfortable and great sounding headphone. I personally prefer a wireless headphone, but the overear and noise cancelling feature are not available from Bose yet. However, the trade off of having to deal with the cord is worth it for the sound and comfort.

Very good headphones. Sound is good. Noise cancellation is excellent. Comfortable to wear. Only negative part would be battery life.

Performance is as expected. Noise cancellation works exactly same as Sony earbuds that are about fraction of the Bose price. But earbuds cause dry ear and then itching after long hours of continuous use like 8+ hour flight, this is where Bose makes the big difference. Because of the “on ear” design moisture in the ear canal remains same and also protects ears from airborne infections that normally occur in long air travel. As expected, sound is excellent.

The fit is good, the carrying case is compact, and the sound is great on airplanes, literally tuning out the rest of the world.

This is the best purchase I have made for myself in a long time. I bought this Bose Set after my regular everyday over-the-ear headphones from a different brand unexpectedly broke. These headphone are far superior to my other set; you don't feel the weight of the band and the noise-cancelling feature helps with noisy co-workers you want to silence out. Yes, its expensive but its worth every penny.
