I have always used normal ear buds when flying, finally decided to try noise canceling headphones and am so glad I did. With ear buds you had to turn the volume up to overcome the jet engines then by the time your flight was over your hearing was compromised. With the Bose I wore them for a 9 hour flight to Europe and was amazed at how well they worked at drowning out all the background noises. No more engine noise, or screaming baby's. thank you Bose

I have only had these headphones for a few weeks. I primarily purchased them for use on airplanes. I took my first trip with them last week on a 3 hour flight and they worked excellent. I did not realize how loud it was on planes until I used the noise cancelling feature of these headphones. I wore them for the entire flight while watching a couple of movies on my phone and they made the flight much more enjoyable. I highly recommend these.

These headphones are comfortable to wear and has great noise cancelling technology. I actually fell asleep on my long flight from Asia with these on. They are expensive so make sure you check your limit on your credit card.

8 days after placing my order (with 2 day shipping!!) I finally had to go into the store to pick up the headphones that I was told were in stock online. When I went in I was told that there weren't any in the district. Even though the website said 3 stores in my area. Luckily while i was in the building a truck showed up with the headphones. I give best buy 0 stars for their online store. That said the headphones are incredible. I fly 30 weeks a year and have had a few different brands of noise cancelling headphones. I couldn't bring myself to pony up for the $300 headphones and made do with some other brands that were ok. These are great, great, great. I wore them at home with kids, dog and dishwasher all doing their thing. A tiny bit of noise seeps through when nothing is playing. When music is going, forget it. You won't hear a thing. I flew from Seattle to Atlanta today and I don't hear the engines as much as feel their vibrations. The headphones are also incrediibly comfortable. Wearing them for a long trip is no uncomfortable at all.

These Bose headphones are very comfortable to wear and were chosen pver Beats because of their superior comfort and sound.

I originally bought the beats studio and tried it out...the sound was all bass...no clarity ...the only thing it got going for is the looks...then came the new bose qc 25...didn't even hesitate to get these!!! Wayyyy better than even the qc 15...im a very picky shopper!!! And the qc 25 just won me over!! Good job bose!! I think best buy should carry better quality headphones like these in their stores!! Like sennheisers, grados and shures!! Not just a whole section of beats headphones!!!

Easy to carry with their carrying case and very comfortable, not to mention quiet. I wouldn't consider anything else.

Bought these for a very long flight out of the country and back. The noise cancellation was awesome, even used them without music and just noise cancellation on to silence the babies which were crying very loud on the plane rides. Totally took care of all the background noise and gave me the peace and quiet that I desired. Sound was great when listening to my music. The only knock I'd give them is that wearing them for a while would cause my ears to sweat and I couldn't really sleep on the plane with these on unless I kept my head forward due to the bulkiness of the headphones. Just a minor inconvenience for me.

We bought these headphones for my son who is very sensitive to noise in certain situations. Using the noise cancelling feature of the headphones has helped him in numerous situations with loud music, etc. playing in the area. They also have great sound - a totally different experience from other cheaper headphones. Worth the price, would buy again. We bought the 2 year replacement plan as we've had bad luck with headphones in the past. Have had them for 2 months and no problems so far.

I was introduced to Bose Noise Cancelling Head Phones a month ago on an International Flight, and I could feel the difference right away as soon as I start listening. As a Frequent International traveller I had used head phones from a different brand, which I thought were good enough. Bose Q25 sets the standards well above. I felt refreshed even after 9 hour long flight. The only flip side is to make habit of carrying the AAA battery,.

Wore these on a flight and felt like sitting in a vacuum. Silence from the outside. Good battery life and great sound!

These have pretty much fit the bill so far. I work in a pretty busy office environment now, and sometimes there are multiple conversations going on so noise cancellation helps. I got these to wear when I need to focus or just want to jam out in my corner a bit. I'm happy with them sound wise, and the noise cancellation mostly covers up the general din. I knocked off a star because they still haven't figured out how to do this without a battery, and more annoyingly, if you leave the little switch on by mistake it doesn't seem to turn it off so the battery is dead when you get back. I am over batteries! Can we figure out how to engineer around them, or at least manage the power intelligently? But overall - nice headphones, if a bit pricey for what they are.

Great fitting over the ear headphones. Noise cancelling is fantastic. Integration with iPhone controls is a bonus.
