i received these headphones for my birthday and I use them for air travel. These are by far the best compared to other brands I've had. The quality of the sound and true noise canceling make my flights more comfortable especially the 10 hrs intercontinental flights. I just have to be careful and don't miss the flight attendants when they bring drinks because with these headphones I don't hear anything outside the music or programming.

These are great headphones, another quality Bose buy. They are not super heavy on the bass, and great all around sounds, noise cancelling is top notch, blocks out all outside noise. I would definitely recommend these to anyone wanting to experience their music on a different level.

Super light, comfy, and looks great. These headphone can be used for the gym and running but it's not recommended if you want them to last. They are expensive but I used rewards to help me out. But otherwise I love the noise cancelling and quality of the headphones and sound.

For months I've been waiting to buy a new set of headphones. I bought another brand name set of headphones months ago for $200 and I wasn't happy with them. After that i began looking at better headphones for around the same price. I couldn't find any until I cam across these. Yes they are expensive and were out of my budget but I figured Id give them a shot. I went out and bought them and was very impressed with the noise cancelling. I'm a heavy music listener and particular about how I want my music to sound. Yes there are other competitors out there for $300 but when you take into consideration of durability, portability, sound quality, AND comfort, these take the lead. I can listen to them for 4 hrs without feeling my ears are burning from the heat some headphones generate.

I owned the QC 15 headphones. I upgraded this year to the QC 25. (Sold 15s bought 25s). QC 25 are much sleeker, more compact, more comfortable, with argueably better sound, and the music plays even if the noise canceling is off. If you have 15s and you like them stick with them. If you are in the market for noise canceling headphones get the 25s.

Excellent sound. I like the fact that a battery is not needed. Very comfortable.

When it comes to noise cancelling headphones and quality these are the bees knees! I tested a range of different headphones from many suppliers before going on a long trip and these were by far the best bang for the buck. The only complaint I have is that it costs a whole $100 more if you want to make them custom. That option should be free!

Although Bose has great sound, it's the Noise Cancelling feature that make the headphones worth the expense!! Many people say that there are other great headphones for sound, however, none of them have the Noise Cancelling. Whenever you're out in public somewhere, no matter how loud it is, you can still enjoy what you're listening to!

We bought these for our son for Christmas, he is a Marine and has two roommates and he was always complaining about how loud it was. So we did our research and decided these headphones were the best fit for him. He loves them, he said he uses them all the time and the only thing he hears when he wears them is what he wants to hear.

I travel up to 6 times per month, all on a plane. I have been looking for a set of headphones for a while now. After trying several other brands of noise cancelling headphones I have no doubt that the Bose are the best. I hear virtually nothing but what's coming out of the speakers - no constant engine drone, regardless of my seat location.

Like better than beats because they fit better on my ears. Really is quite on my plane rides

Happy to be able to get a set on sale. Comfortable. Noise cancelling works well. Was actually happy to get an old wired set rather than the new Bluetooth model. Was a little worried about the AAA battery, but lasts a long time. Travel case is nice.

I first went with the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds, but felt the overall sound was not all that special. So I moved to these despite liking ear bud headphones much more. I've used these on flights mainly and the noise canceling is spectacular. The overall sound quality is good, but I do feel there is some depth missing. Now I also discovered some of that came from what I was using to listen to my music (Pandora vs Google Play vs MP3s on my phone) so I probably need to use them much more before I can give a final score. Part of me wants to go back and get the earbuds and play with the different music services as I did not take those variables into account until I got these.

Bought the Bose headphones for my fiancée as his Beats had broken. I have Bose speakers, love them so I figured I couldn't lose! I chose right!! He loves them. Says they are comfortable, light, drowns out outside sounds and listening to music is amazing!! Thumbs UP!!

These headphones are a must have for frequent flyer. They will not make a flight silent, but very close to it, allowing you the relax, take a nap, watch a movie just listen to music, all without using high volume. I'm also using them with my glasses on and they work great.
