The sound quality is superb, but a rechargeable battery would be a nice addition. The construction is adequate, but not overdone by any means. Overall, a quality product.

Excellent noise reduction, keeping the background noise to an acceptable level! The sound clarity is the best that I have ever heard compared to the past headphones (2 from Bose) that I have used! Despite the price that not all would accept, it's really worth getting (depending on how much you would use these, of course). For me, I always use them or carry with me. Very highly recommended!

I bought these for a trip my wife was going on and she said they blocked out a screaming child on her eight hour flight not to mention the plane noise. I have used them in the house for music and they are great if you want to isolate yourself from outside noise. I would recommend this if you take plane rides frequently or have a long one coming up. My wife flew 8 hours both ways and has not had to replace the battery. The noise cancelling seems to work without any music playing either. You can also use the headphone without noise cancelling And save some battery. The only thing I don't like is that the upper headband portion is made of cloth. I was going to get the white ones until I realized that. The white display model in the store was starting to look grimy and it does not look like there is an easy way to clean it so I just went with the black ones.

The price is a little high ($300), but the overall quality is great. The sound may not be that loud compared to Beats or similar, but Bose surely wins on the noise cancellation. I used them on an airplane trip and you almost can't hear the noise of the engines (no music). I played some music and then all that noise went away. Perfect for travelers or people who want to focus on cristal clear sound.

I fly on airplanes a lot and I really wanted good noise canceling headphones but really did not want to spend the money for the Bose. So I bought a few other pairs. None of the others have close to the level of comfort or noise canceling that are found in the Bose. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Bose from the start. In the end you will get them anyway,

I am a frequent flyer, over 100 flights a year on average. I have used several brands of noise canceling headphones, both in-ear and over-the-ear. These are hands down the best on the market. The hum of the jets is almost completely eliminated, allowing for audio at a normal range or just a little peace and quiet.

I own 2 pairs of QC15 and this is my first pair of QC25 I love it. Bose made some much needed improvements in the sound and build of the headphones. if you are into a wide range of music genre for instance jazz like my self you will love these. However if you are into mostly hiphop music, with a lot of bass you may want to try beats, but you will be compromising on the noise canceling.

The name of these headphones say it all. I wear these everyday at work, and I cannot hear a sound from anyone around me. A lot of people get annoyed when they come to my cube to ask me a question. And I've used it in a plane where I'm able to sleep when babies are crying. I love these headphones. Not the mention the sound quality is great and they've improved the style from the last model.

These headphones really make a difference. I have a very noisy treadmill so I hook them up to my Roku remote and watch and listen to movies while I'm exercising. While they don't completely eliminate the treadmill noise, they drastically reduce it and my hearing is saved from otherwise having to turn the TV up to its highest volume setting. It's worth every cent I paid for these headphones.

I bough these headphones for a trip to Israel so I had a lot of time to use them on the flight. I was not disappointed. The noise cancellation worked great and the sound quality was excellent. I had a previous Bose noise cancelling headphones and these continued the high quality performance. The audio adapter plug provided with the unit worked great on the United flight I took.

Hi, I truly looked for months before purchase an expensive headphone , to use most on airplanes. Of course I would prefer to be smaller, but for the price you can't bit. I was concerned would be too tight and would not be able to keep it all night in the plane, but not. It is amazing the difference makes for noise cancellation. I totally recomeded.

If you are not experienced with noise cancelling capabilities in headphones you will be very pleasantly surprised when you use these Bose headphones. They provide a very good listening experience. You will notice a big difference on airplanes where these headphones cancel out the noise from the jet engines and allow you to hear the movie or music.
