I really like these headphones. I've never had noise-cancelling headphones before so I'm not sure how they are in comparison, but they do a pretty good job of cancelling noise around me. I still hear some sounds, like people talking and sudden noises, but they are good at cancelling ambient noise. They worked pretty well on the airplane as well.

I bought these strictly for the noise cancelling abilities for when I study and they work great. I also travel quite a bit so in the airplane they work well also. Great pair of headphones!

These head phones work just as described. Block out significant noise levels on a plane which is why i bought them...much better than ear buds. I like the case they come in and how easily they fold up. They have a mic which I can use for conference calls on my phone, etc. Superior product even thought they are a little on the high side in terms of price.

I am obsessed with music quality and I am very happy to say that these headphones satisfy my needs greatly. I work writing and recording music as a hobby, and the sound quality of these can't be beat. They are also great for everyday music listening and travel. Bose are easily the best headphones I've owned (even compared to other high end brands).

I purchased this for my wife's birthday present. She loves these headphones, they block out a great deal of sound and have good sound output. They also come with a really nice case and use standard AAA batteries. Although these headphones are pricy, they are of good quality.

I bought these for my son in law for Christmas. Yes, he's worth it and so are these headphones for the price. I have had a pair of these for 15 years and I won't travel without them. I am easily disturbed by the noise of others so a flight without my headphones is my worst nightmare. Bose is an excellent company who stands by its warranties.

great noise cancelling, comfortable headphones, worth the price

I had my eye on a pair of Bose headphones for quite awhile. So for my 55th birthday I decided to treat myself. I use them daily and even nightly listening sounds of raining via an app on my phone. The noise cancelling works very well. By itself you can still hear things but in combination with music or anything else playing I can't hear anything outside of the headphones. Helps a lot drumming out noises my pug dog makes. Looking forward to taking these on a plane to help drum out all the noise. These fit extremely comfortably. I can wear for hours with no discomfort. I really was not much of a music buff but, now with these I've really been enjoying Pandora.

I've had three of the previous Bose iterations, and this, by far, is the best yet. Where I live, my neighbors are volume limiting. With these, the Bose - QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones, I can enjoy my music, movies, or just enjoy the quiet. No limits, no worries. Best of the sound oriented gear that I've purchased in a while.

Great sound quality and comfortable to use for hours at a time.

These headphones are comfortable and really blocks out the outside noise. However i have to get used to the microphone being on the left side.
