I recently returned from a European business trip. These headphones were a lifesaver on the airplane. It's like being on your own little world. They not only block out the noise from the airplane, they also have fantastic sound for movies and music.

Replaced my in ear noise canceling headphones with the Bose QuietComfort 25's. I am very happy with them overall-- one thing I did notice was pressure from the piece on top of my head being somewhat irritating-- but, I was on several long flights overseas. I don't see it being a problem at all on domestic flights-- I'm happy with them.

Not only did I use these on a very long flight but also at work. They blocked out the noise on the plane and it helped me sleep which is normally a problem for me. In regards to work, there is a lot of noise surrounding my work area and when I need to concentrate I put these on with soft music and its perfect.

These are great headphones. Excellent sound quality and clarity. The music player controls for my iPhone work great and as described by the manual. Noise cancelling is great and I can use my shop vacuum while listening to music and the headphones do a great job of cancelling out the noise from the vacuum.

I bought the Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones as an upgrade my prior Bose headphones were great so it was an easy decision to buy the new ones. My primary use is when I'm traveling most of the time on a plane and there is no better way to watch a movie on a plane with the Bose headphones.

Can't believe I didn't purchase these before now. I fly a reasonable amount, and I would be hard pressed to find words to describe how much less aggravating the experience is now that I have these. They don't remove every ounce of noise when you use them, but you will be surprised at the difference they make even when you're in a room that you think is quiet. When you put these on your head, and slide the button, it is so much more peaceful. Even if you don't plug into a tablet, or phone, it's still so much more peaceful. I download movies from Netflix and Amazon and use that for in flight entertainment. While I looked at the wireless version, I could not justify the extra cost. I believe it was almost double at that time. I'm used to wearing earbuds, so the cable would maintain the status quo. On top of that, there are some aircraft with built in screens on the back of the seats, and on some of those flights, I plug into the aircraft entertainment system. That's one of the pluses to a wired system. No way that I know of to attach your blue tooth headset to an airline monitor. Once I found out how much I like the quieter world, I started using them with my tablet at the hotel in the evenings, and even at home before going to bed. It will see use when I am on the elliptical and treadmill as well. When I purchased mine at Best Buy, I saw only the set marked for iphone/ipad. I use an LG phone and pad, and the headphones worked fine with them with the exception that the volume/mic control on the cable did not function. I went to the online Bose store and purchased the Android cable separately. Now those controls work fine with my LG equipment. The size for traveling is not bad, but they will take up some room. You'll want to carry a spare battery as well. They will work as headphones even if the battery is dead though, you just loose the noise cancelling abilities. I feel a lot calmer when I walk out of the airports these days. Even my wife agrees. Highly recommended.

I am so impressed with this headphone. The sound is great using my iPhone and listening to my playlists. Could not ask for anything better. My wife uses it while playing the piano to block out the sound from our TV while she practices. I am amazed at how much sound is blocked out even with the TV playing loudly.

I got these for my girlfriend so she can study while I'm around the apartment making noise. She can wear them for hours and not be bothered by me playing video games or watching something on the TV. There a bit expensive but if Noise Cancelling its something you need then they're definitely worth the price.

These headphones are great, if you have not tried the Quiet Comfort series the you should invest in a pair. I am student who studies frequently and these are my go to pair of headphones. They are good without the noise cancellation but once you turn them on they make you feel like your in your own universe.

These headphones do a great job at REDUCING noise around you...but by no stretch of the imagination do they CANCEL the voice of that annoying passenger behind you that for four and a half hours has regaled his seatmate with his latest story. Jet engine noise is greatly reduced, and frankly, if you have a movie or music on, you really do forget about the world around you. Highly recommended if you are a frequent flier. If you are looking for an audiophile experience...look elsewhere.

Bought these headphones for flying on frequent business trips, absolutely the best purchase I ever made. Not only do they provide great sound for your audio/video but they do not allow any outside noise in, I am able to sleep on the plane.

Highly recommended for those who travel internationally on a regular basis. The noise cancelling comfort is incredible and makes an economy seat easier to tolerate. They also make train rides more enjoyable. Must have for the busy traveler.

These are so much better than previous versions like the QC2 I have had in the past. If you enjoy the sound canceling feature of an over the ear headset then I strongly recommend Bose QC 25. Of course the newest model is probably better these are Bose at a much better price.

Bose are the best. Period. I bought the QuietComfort 15 model and it brought the noise-cancelling clarity of sound I was looking for. It was a no-brainer when the follow up QuietComfort 25's came out. I don't care about the new packaging, style, color, etc...its the sound that counts and Bose does it again.

My daughter is a veterinary student with learning disabilities and they have several lectures daily. These headphones are the best when re-listening to the lectures outside of class in very noisy areas of the school. I also borrowed them while visiting her and I couldn't hear anything except my music!

These are so awesome! I tested out the more expensive Bose noise cancelling headphones and these are basically the same quality! But $100 cheaper! There was really no difference in sound quality between these and the more expensive ones. I would definitely recommend these!

They sound great; true to life not over emphasizing bass or treble. I bought these wired phones and these in particular because I wanted a sound deadening device when I fly to travel. So far I haven't used them for that so I can't say how well they performe in that regard

I struggled between these and the wireless. For the price, well worth it since I primarily use them on airplanes. Great sound, easy to carry, and super comfortable.
