    Bose Still Leads The Way

The audio quality is what I have come to expect from Bose.... clear sharp highs, excellent mids, and solid bass response. But what really sets these apart from the rest is the noise cancelling technology. Flip the switch and the ambient background noise just disappears. The performance on a recent flight was exceptional. They are very good at removing the low level rumble created by the engines allowing you to listen to your favorite music or movie at much lower volume levels. Try these and you won't be disappointed. The extra you pay for Bose is worth it.

    Best headset for flying

I fly weekly accross the country. So having a good noise reduction headset is essential as it allows me to feel less tired. I used to have an older model, the on the ear one. This one is much better. More comfortable, lighter, much better sound, comes with iPhone integrated cable and all. The only minus compared to my old one is that this one does not have a rechargeable battery. Which means I had to buy a set of AAA rechargeable on the side. Now, since I only replaced my old one because I lost it in travel after 7 years of good service; I hope this one will be as much of a great investment and last me as long.

I've been contemplating getting these a very long time. And looked at many noise canceling headsets. But have never owned any. Not sure why I didn't pull the trigger sooner they are awesome! Noise canceling is outstanding! I listen to them everyday for hours. Sleep with them on even on my side. Super light weight and comfortable! Buy a pair you won't regret it! To be fair one negative... They don't turn off automaticity. Not sure why. I'm sure they will fix that soon. If you fall asleep or just plain forget to turn them off you will go through battery's. But they take AAA battery's I always have those so It doesn't bug me too much. not enough to loose a star.

The noise cancelling of the Bose headphones is great. These QC 25’s are comfortable and stow well in their case. They have even added a spot to store an extra battery.

Awesome headphones, I was really hoping for wireless and tried the Beats Studio but the lack of quality, comfort and reliability drove me here. These have amazing noise cancellation and they are incredibly light weight and comfortable for long use (i.e. long flights). I can't think of a single negative. The triple black looks sharp. I'm looking forward to something similar in wireless in few years. Sound quality is awesome (i use them mostly for movies on a plane so not pushing to the limits that certain music otherwise might).

These headphones are about $300 and they are worth every penny. I previously had the Sony RNC-10. They were fine in every way, comfortable, audio quality and noise canceling. These Bose headphones take everything up a notch however. Better audio quality, longer battery life, WAY better battery life, lighter by a lot, and you can actually buy replacement cables if yours dies. That last feature is why I had to get new headphones. The only thing that I will knock them for is the head band is too thin and not soft enough so it makes my head hurt after an hour or two even a month later. And finally the noise canceling is much more isolating than my old Sonys.

I bought these on an impulse leap of faith, given that my old Sony studio monitors met their end by my 3 year old. They are, hands down, the BEST and most comfortable headphones I've ever had the privilege of listening to. I actually went a day without using the battery and coincidently the noise canceling feature. I was sold prior to giving it a try. After turning it on... wow. I can listen to music, podcasts, news... anything at all at very low volume and not miss a single detail. Ear fatigue is a thing of the past. Six to eight hours a day of use and my ears literally have zero fatigue. Bose NAILED these. They're pricey, but you get what you pay for!

The noise cancelling feature is awesome! I do not mind the wired cord because I can remove it when not needed. The option of using a battery instead of rechargeable was a plus for me because it will last years longer than those with the built-in rechargeable battery. Additionally, getting it a half price compared to the wireless was a no brainer for me. I love Bose, but can't afford the named products except this one. The only drawback I COULD see is that the weak link could be the plug in, but I do not have any evidence of that at this time, just assuming. You know what happens when you assume.

Was skeptical about this purchase given the price tag, but with traveling for business fairly regularly, I just couldn't take any more screaming babies or obnoxious blabbermouths in the seats around me anymore. Astonishing how much noise these things can block out, especially the jet engine noise. I had originally only intended them for travel, but now wear them pretty much everywhere I go/walk in public. So nice to block out all the noise on public transit and the street. My only beef thus far is that the leather has already started to fade a bit from wear and they make your ears pretty warm. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and I love them.

I had the qc 15 so of course I compared the two the qc 25 bass is lower both are comfortable but the qc25 goes around the ear not on the ear so for long use it has no ear pain

Much more comfortable than previous on the ear Bose model. Lightweight, folds into a compact case, great noise cancelling, and great sound. Does everything you need well.

Recently, I took the headphones on a trip - 8 hour plane ride, each way. These are the best noise cancelling headphones I've ever used. I've owned several over the years, but this one is the best! Great sound, excellent noise cancellation & comfortable to wear through the entire flight. One very minor issue: if you wear glasses, there's a slight sound leakage from where the glasses touch the headphones (very minor). Not a deal breaker. These work great with iOS products. Get them, NOW!

I have to say, the price seems a bit high, but you are getting the quality of the headphone, its light way plus noise cancelling; its great if you travel a lot on air plane or train. The ear cup fits very well with my large ear, very comfortable even if you wear for a long time. PRO: Easy set up, plug and listen. Great Noise cancelling. comfortable ear pads. good quality and finishing. CON. Not wireless price

Being a first time headphone user I was unsure what to buy so I read several reviews and finally landed on the Bose Quiet Comfort 25's in white and these are fantastic headphones! The sound quality is great and the noise cancellation is excellent. I especially like being able to answer calls and adjust the volume from the control on the cord. The only challenge I am having is folding the headphone to return then to the case but that is something i attribute to my own lack of coordination.

Probably The Best Noise Cancelling Headphones

Have had a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphone before, so knew just how good the noise cancelling works and how comfortable they are to wear for long periods of time on international plane journeys. Only gripe is the right angle mini jack for plugging into the audio device/airplane seat. It is a little flimsy and easily broken if you get up from your airplane seat without unplugging the headphones first. I went through 2 additional cables because the jack broke on my last set of Bose headphones.... The jack on the latest model looks exactly the same as the previous model. I'm surprised Bose have not done something about this, because when I visited the Bose store to buy my previous replacement cables, they told me they had a lot of them break like that!!!! Please take this on board Bose if you read this. For everyone else, make sure you remove the jack from your air plane seat before you attempt to get up. The sound quality is soooo good that I put up with this fault :-)

At first, I was hesitant about purchasing this, I thought maybe it'll be too big and just not sure if it's gonna be worth the price. When the price went $100 off its original, I purchased one, and I'm glad I did. The sound quality was really good, and the fit was just right . Although, when you've had it on for hours, it feels a little bit of tightness, I guess thats because its supposed to have a snug fit, but overall this is an awesome product.

I was originally hesitant to purchase these because of their $300 price point, which I felt was extremely high. But I took the plunge and went ahead and purchased them and boy was I glad I did. The noise cancellation feature on these is truly amazing and works perfectly. I used these on 14 flights where babies were crying on my row and but I couldn't hear a peep. I don't know how I survived so long without these. I would highly recommend these. It would've been nice if these had a rechargeable battery built in, instead of a disposable one. Other than that they are extremely comfortable and a great value.

These headphones are amazing. I have never been able to sleep on an international flight and these helped tremendously on my last flight and I will never fly again without them. The sound is absolutely incredible and you can hear so many different instruments that you didn't know were even in the song. The noise cancelling is great in a crowd but you can still hear people talking if they are close to you. I have tested out other brands (Beats) and while those were good the Bose hands down sounded better and were softer and more comfortable for long wear.

After using the Bose QuietComfort 15 for many years, I picked up the Bose QuietComfort 25. I like that it's lighter and folds up when stored. Also, the case is smaller too. Overall, the sound is slightly better than the QC15 and the fact it can be used without batteries is a big plus.
