The Getting Started manual is ridiculous. They don't tell you (or at least I could not find it amongst their pictograms) that you need to charge it before the first use. Hence a lot of avoidable frustration. Once it works, it's great.

Great quality and love the smaller foot print compared to the older style.

The headphones are decent but don't really block out as much noise as I thought they would such as my loud coworkers. Sound quality is decent but if you are into bass heavy music these are not for you. The cable is kinda too long, my other gripe. Build quality as pretty good, they don't look cheap at all and pretty comfortable to wear. But for the price there are cheaper alternatives.

I bought a pair for my son a year ago and my daughter keeps stealing them they are so good. She is getting her own for Christmas

I was hesitated to buy this because I always think Bose doesn't have good sound quality. However this one surprised me. It has well balanced sound than I thought. The sound clarity is fantasic. The battery life is even more than it claimed. The reason why I am taking one star is not it doesn't have good sound, but a little disappointed on its noise cancellation feature. I always thought Bose has the best NC but it seemed I was wrong. Its NC doesn't work well on reducing ambient vocal sound but Sony 1000X Mkii dose much better job.

I use these headphones mostly when traveling via airplane. The noise canceling feature works really well on noisy flights and the sound is very good.

They really work as advertised. They block out all background sounds and the music quality is the usual top notch Bose experience you would expect.

These Bose head phones are wonderful as was the reduced price. The sound is phenomenal and the noise cancellation works great.

This is a must to travel on a plane. It greatly reduces screaming kids and the constant drone of the engines. Even better on international flights.

Used these on a number of flights to Europe. They are excellent. They cancel noise very well, much better than the other headphones I have tried.

If you're even considering buying these, do yourself a favor and do it. I've worn them on several flights now (up to 16 hours) and these things are amazing. From time to time I pull them off just to see how loud things actually are; it's unreal how much sound these eliminate. Well worth the money.

Love them. These will be perfect for long flights to enjoy music or aovie without background noise.

I've been using Bose over 6 months and I recommend to anyone who looks for perfect sound cancellation. It really works especially during flight.
