They are Bose so you know the sound is going to be great quality and no one is doing noise canceling better than they are.

Bought a pair of these for an upcoming trans pacific flight. They made a significant difference in filtering much of the noise from the plane.

I have only had one opportunity to use my bose headset and I really enjoyed them! They cancelled out alot (not all of the background noise).

As usual this is very good for music, and really helps me with my web meetings. noise cancellation is an added advantage.

Not satisfied with a brand that has too much emphasis on one end of the spectrum I purchased this pair to give it a try. Listened different styles of my collection and very satisfied with the details this headphone delivers.

I'm a Bose person. I've always liked their products but I honestly don't believe these are worth $300. The noise canceling is nice for when I'm studying at the library and need to focus, but that's about it. The sound quality is ok if they were headphones in the $100-200 range. Today I bought the Sony MDR-XB950BT and even though they are not noise canceling, they sound a lot better and have Bluetooth so no more cables. They sound amazing and for half the price of these Bose, so I'll be returning them tomorrow. I tried the Bose with Bluetooth but they don't even get close to the amazing sound of the Sony ones I got. I'm pretty sure I'll keep on buying Bose products, just not these headphones.

Replacing older well-used QC15's. Reviewed these vs. Sony alternatives and by far the best combination of easy to use and great sound. Would highly recommend. The case is a bit smaller than the previous version, which is good, however worried about always getting it into the case to correct way around due to the hinges.

Works great on airplanes and in crowded airports to reduce noise.

The noise cancellation and sound are wonderful. The music and audio have good treble and bass. I am not an expert but I would buy them again.

Bought them for a long flight. A bit bulky on storage but the storage case is well thought out and as consolidated as it could be. The sound was great even sitting over the airplane engines. Noise cancelling definitely works but doesn't eliminate 100% of the sound. Then again, I don't think you'd want it to. It's nice that the storage case comes with a spare battery holder so you're never out of luck when the battery dies. If you travel and like to listen to music or videos, you won't use your "stock" ear buds again after you listen to these.

These headphones may be a bit pricey but they are worth it. They sound great and cancel ambient noise remarkably well. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my husband to wear while cutting the grass. He definitely has lawn mower noise blocked out while listening to his music!

Love the air phones and I actually use them for noise reduction when doing yardwork and mowing my lawn. Having the ability to do the noise cancellation and still have a functional your phone if the battery dies is a plus. Most other ear phones do not work when the battery dies and you have to use them on noise cancellation mode.

well worth the money! The sound quality is amazing but also really muffles out , outside noises.

if in a noisy environment use these headphones to shut out any distractions with pure sound, good bass and high notes.

The headset works great and sound great. However, the sound control doesn't work with android phones. Only reason I give 4 stars. Otherwise, I love it.

What else needs to be said. They sounds great. Turned them on to try before giving them to my son. Great sound quality

Really good for eliminating constant background noise. For short bursts of noise they do a good job of muffling but do not eliminate.
