Noise canceling works great. Since this is the older model, the price was much lower than the new model. So it’s a ‘best buy’.

Best Travel Headphones

It is a good noise canceling headphone

I no longer need to turn the volume all the way up to be able to hear the movie dialogues. Mid range of volume would be sufficient for me to hear music, movies clearly. On the second trip the noise canceling was on and off, it was annoying. Maybe the battery was low or malfunctioning. Not sure yet. Wearing it for long hours is still not very comfortable but better than other brands. At $159 of the sale price, I don’t think I should complain much. Oh, the microphone was good. Friends told me it was loud and clear on the phone calls
