These headphones really work, when you plug them in and turn on the power everything is very silent then turning up the volume and you are left with sharp, clear and exceptionally clean sound of music no matter the genre. Very satisfied

These headphones are comfortable to use and have excellent noise cancelling capability. I like that they are powered by a AAA battery so that you can take extra batteries for very long flights. They work with all devices that have a headphone jack. And they sound great, too.

For general noise and wind noise this works really well but for someone talking in the background, you can still hear that.

I bought these headphones for my kid who is going away for college. I read the item description and all the reviews and was satisfied with going out to purchase them. When we brought them home and tried them out, they worked just as described. We have a couple of appliances that make low-level noises and after turning on the noise cancellation, the noise all but completely went away - you can still hear a very faint hum if you listen for it but if not, you will think it completely gone. Playing anything through them is the quality you would expect from Bose and after having purchased other Bose products, the highly expected quality did not disappoint.

These really help to block out my annoying coworkers.

The headphones not only have excellent sound reproduction the noise canceling feature is lights out. No more crying children or distracting noises on plane rides. They are comfortable and amazing.

Sound quality is incredible, of course. However what I was amazed by was the continued comfort over a long day of traveling from Atlanta to Tokyo.

This is the best of the headphones -switching on the noise canceling option it gave me a whole new experience of my favorite songs. Comfortable too. Highly recommended - totally worth the price.

These headphones have amazing sound and when flying it drowns out all of the noise of the aircraft. Now I can't fly without them!!! I highly recommend!! Very comfortable too!

Very good headset I love them except for one thing, they have like zero bassline but apart from that they are the best.

Bought these headphones to travel with durning two hour plus flights. The noice cancellation works perfectly. Volume is on the lower side and should be a little louder. Fidelity is about average which is a plus considering these are noise canceling. All in all the deal breaker is they are priced a little too high. I really enjoy Bose products and understand that I will pay a premium for them but these don't deliver enough to warrant their high price. If Bose made these in wireless and noise cancelling at around the same price point they would get five stars.

I was a little skeptical about this purchase. All the reviews were good. But I did not think they would work as well as they said they would. After using them for a few weeks. I will have to say. They do in fact work as well as advertised. The only problem I found was BB only has the ones for use with Apple products. I have both Apple and Android products. Some of the features only work with Apple products. But I knew this when I purchased them. It does not effect the sound or how the headset works. It only effects the inline controls on the wire. Some functions still work with Android, some don't.

Pleasantly surprised how good these sound right out of the box. They will probably get a bit better as they break-in. While I'm not an expert at noise cancelling headphones, these really do a commendable job at eliminating background noise and sound quite good. I compared them to my Sennheiser HD558's and the're at least in the same ballpark sound-wise. Are there better NC headphones out there? Absolutely, but you'll pay lots more for the privilege of ownership. These are perfect for traveling especially considering that the current Best Buy price is an absolute steal. No problemo, just buy them!

The noise canceling function is great. The music is so clear. The comfort is soft. May get hot to wear in the summer. Kept my ears warm during my winter strolls.

I bought these due to a next door neighbor who likes to blast loud music on his front porch - which sits about 10' from my family room front window. Extremely annoying when you can't even watch your own TV due to disrespectful neighbor. These headphones block out almost 100% of the external noise - enough to be able to enjoy whatever you're listening to and/or watching. Pricey, but a lot cheaper than moving to another home (due to rude neighbors).

The ability to cancel out background noise at work or on airplane flights makes the price tag worth it, I would prefer bluetooth but not for double the price.

I initially bought this headset for my husband for our trip abroad to reduce the noise from the airplane. Not only did he use them for our air travels, but also in the recording studio instead of the standard ones they provide. He is a musician, so I know how important sound is to his music. The sound is crystal clear, emphasizing each instrument and vocals clearly with music play back and his recordings. As for noise-reduction, it really does drown out the external noise. The microphone and speaker also work great with the phone. After a few months of use, he has stated that they are the best set of headphones he has owned so far.
