I've always been reluctant to spend this type of money on a pair of headphones, but I bought myself a pair for Christmas and loved them so much I bought a pair for my girlfriend for her birthday. Great for flying, even if you're not listening to anything. Click the noise canceling button and engine noise fades far into the background.

These noise cancelling headphones really make plane flights more enjoyable....well, not enjoyable but at least more bearable! Product works exactly as advertised. Don't expect to hear ZERO external noise, but it knocks down outside noise enough that you more clearly hear your music or movie. A must have for frequent travelers.

We have purchased several of these headsets for use in our airplanes, both for pilots and passengers. They are slim, compact, and excellent noise canceling headphones. Since these are not aviation specific headphones, we use an aviation mic that attaches to them for communication between pilots, air traffic control, and passengers.

Bose has the best sound reproduction that's available I would recommend this and other Bose products to everyone I am very pleased with my product and will not hesitate to buy another Bose from Best Buy the head phones I bought are comfortable to use for listening to music or watching movies on my iPad

I have purchased several Bose products in the past. you can never go wrong with them. I bought these at the last minute at the airport as I forgot my other pair. As expected, these gave me the piece and quiet I wanted while flying for 17 hours to Hong Kong.

I purchased these headphones because I was traveling on a long flight to Europe and I could not be happier with the active noise canceling! Great for anyone looking to silence the sounds of the engines on a flight.

These headphones are great! The minute you put them on, it's like total euphoria! All the distraction, silly kid noises, screaming, whining, begging just goes away. I don't recommend them for walking down a busy street listening to your iPhone, but for 10 minutes of peace to hear something on your iPad, uninterrupted...YES PLEASE!

Great headphone, sound quality satisfies my normal day needs, will be somewhat weird when u turn off the power, but still acceptable. Noise cancelling feature works is incredible good, especially at removing low frequency noise. If u are trying to make yourself live in a quiet world, this is the one u need. Expensive, but worth!

i was looking for over the ear headphones to bring to work. drown out the noise when i need to concentrate and listen to my music as loud as i want too. these are really perfect. the bonus that i didn't know was that i can also use them with my phone! awesome. great sound. really deep and rounded. works well with my taste in music.

I have owned a pair of AE2 Bose headphones and decided To splurge for the Quiet comfort 25 headphones. They are by far the Best headphones I have ever owned or listened to! Sound quality is amazing and everything is super clear with great highs and mid range audio. It does tend to lack in the low range but doesn't not matter for me because I mostly listen to audio that isn't bass heavy. The only annoying this about this is if you want to put them back in the case it takes a minute or so to pack up because it is so compact, probably no way around this from a design standpoint just one of the very few negative things I could pick out. Other than that it is a great product and would absolutely buy it again and again!

Purchased the Bose QC 25 headphones prior to a cross country flight. They cut out all of the background noise of the flight to include the plane, noisy people in surrounding seats and a crying baby a couple of rows back. Can't imagine flying without them ever again. Also used them to listen to music and watch a movie. Amazing sound.

Very comfotable, and great noise canceling headphones!

This is the second pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones I've purchased. The previous pair were outstanding and my wife and I used them continuously over the past 5 years - without any complaints. Finally the ear pads wore out. The new pair I bought are even better than the previous ones - thanks to newer technology.

Took mine on a round trip flight and loved how I could hear the bass line again. The new feature where you can still use the headset even if the battery dies was a nice add Bose! The on-cord mic seemed to work well even if you can't really hear yourself talking. I'm wishing I bought these sooner!

These are the premium Noise Cancelling Headphones on the market. After owning a pair and taking them on a flight, I can't help but wonder how I ever flew without them. If you fly regularly, like I do, you will thank yourself for buying some sort of noise cancelling setup. These should be your first choice if you have the coin.

I was somewhat skeptical about these headphones because I feel in many instances Bose is overrated. These however perform extremely well. I hate plane noise, these headphones have changed my flying experience. The only complaint is my wife tells me she cannot hear me when I wear them because I speak too softly, oh well!!!
